Great job with the entire outside skirt of house sanding old paint and repainting outside doors while removing rust. Also did a great job painting the bulkhead.

Denis and his crew were very professional and completed the job on time and as promised. Their work is excellent! There were a lot of imperfections and drywall repairs they had to do on our walls and they took care of all of them. We couldn’t be happier! I would definitely hire them again!

I called DMJ on Friday evening to get a price on painting our main bathroom. I spoke to Dennis who asked if he could come to my house and look at the job at 9:00 AM on Saturday. He was on time Saturday morning, gave me a price and I asked when he could do it. Dennis said he could finish it today or tomorrow (Sunday) since he and his crew start three new jobs on Monday. I told him if he could do it today, that would be great because I hoped to do it soon. We decided on the color and within an hour his son and, I believe he said, brother-in-law arrived to start the job. By 3:00 PM they finished the job and asked my wife and me to check it out and if we were satisfied. We couldn't have been more satisfied. Those gentlemen were very professional, courteous, respectful, and anxious to be sure we were happy with the job. The painting was perfect and they cleaned and vacuumed the room before they left. We found Dennis to be very friendly and honest and I would recommend Dennis and his crew (family) for any painting needed.

I recently purchased a second home in Delaware and it really needed painting. I searched on Angi's and was connected to DMJ. Dennis contacted me right away and we set a time to meet for an estimate. I live in NY and he was understanding that I wouldn't be there for a few days. The day of the appointment, he arrived on time and provided a fair estimate. Because I was going to be traveling back to NY I asked if he could start soon. He was able to start the next day. He and his team arrived on time promptly at 8:30 am. The job took 3 days and it turned out great! He understood my vision and color scheme and brought it to life. When complete everything was cleaned and put back in place. This is a family business I would recommend and will use again in the future.

We hired Dennis, DMJ Painting, to paint our entire beach house. After meeting him and talking with him we gave him keys to our house and left him to do the job! He got the work done when he said he would and did a great job, we are very happy customers and would be happy to recommend his company to anyone! DMJ Customs Colors Painting did an awswome job. We interviewed three r5 star rated painting companies and actually chose the highest bid based on Dennis's presentation and promised outcomes. They did outstanding work and we are well pleased. His brother Delmer, the team leader in charge of our project (which included all walls, ceilings, baseboards, closets, included all new calking and more) was wonderful to work with and the family was a delight to be around. Our home consists of 5 bedrooms, 3 baths, and two stories. DMJ will be back when the weather breaks to complete the double epoxy garage floor. We highly recommend them. The prep was painstakingly through, and the quality of the materials were Sherwin Williams top shelf. We have NO Complaints! Job well done.

I can not believe the attention to details, they made my 20 year old house look better than new, they did the entire house and bathrooms, he suggested a light gray and we went with it and it looks unbelievable, Dennis knows his job, and takes total control of everything. Been a very pleasant experience. My friend came over and was amazed at how it looks. Don't go any further for estimates . For what they did and how well they did , it was worth every penny, I gave him a small tip on final payment. If I could I would give a 10 star.

DMJ does a terrific job on my beach house. They have painted and power washed my house, deck and fence over the past couple years. DMJ also rebuilt the door to my shed and several other smaller projects. They are extremely trustworthy and I trust them with work even when I am not there.

I purchased my home less than a year ago and luckily found DMJ. I hired them to paint several rooms in my house. They did an amazing job! I just recently hired them again to paint my kitchen cabinets. Once again I am happy with the results. Dennis and his team are outstanding! They are reliable, fast and very good at what they do! This is an update to reflect the current condition of my kitchen not even a year later. Within just a couple months after my initial review the paint in my kitchen began peeling in multiple areas. I called Dennis who said that the areas werent properly primed. They came out and repaired those areas. Now here we are again with peeling, some quite severe. For 9K not even a year in, this absolutely should not be happening. I am beyond disappointed. And before anyone asks, yes I reached out to him before this post. I havent received any response to my texts. They have lost a customer.

Further update. Dennis has come out and again corrected the problem. He thinks he now knows what caused this to occur. Which was an error in the priming. I do appreciate him standing by and correcting his work. Not all companies would do that. Im not giving 5 stars simply because this issue occurred 2 times and I dont know if it wont happen again.

Just had 2 rooms painted by DMJ Custom Colors Painting. The walls & ceilings were in bad shape and required a lot of repair. They did an amazing job......the rooms look like new construction! It was a messy job, but they left my home spotless. I highly recommend them.

so here we go again !!! in 2021 I moved from my Seaford home ( for which I had DMJ paint there first) to Lewes And again, I needed to paint the new house inside and out….I have a full basement , full loft, five bathrooms, a formal living room, two en suites, and a great room with a dining room, kitchen open space ….when I purchased this house, I know exactly who I was going to Reach out to “DMJ custom color painting “Denis, and his crew or should I say the family …. the family hung wallpaper , fine line my walls , stain my banisters.. painted by foundation, the outside staircase, going down into the basement plus the pergola that was over my garage and let’s not forget the front porch. I would have never gotten it done if it wasn’t for Denis and the crew and to top it all off once they’re finished Denis’s wife came in and cleaned my whole house, granted, there was no furniture in it yet, but she took out all that fine sanding, and my floors and the countertops and and we became friends they are a wonderful, honest family that I would recommend 200%… they treated my home like it was theirs. I got my main house, cottage and pole building painted. Very satisfied with the work performed. Dennis and brothers were very responsive to my requests. Estimated 4-6 weeks but completed in just under 3 weeks. The crew worked very hard and kept going even on the hottest days. Overall happy with the job.
