I have never used this service but after the rude communication between one of the workers and my wife, I probable won't. My wife went down 2 houses to talk to the team down there about possibly letting other houses know they were spraying chemicals and one of the workers rudely replied "go close your windows". My family was experiencing headaches and minor nausea due to a clorox like smell all through the house. This company needs to be more respectful of the surrounding area.

Who you going to call? Moss Busters. They showed up on time and did a great job. They were professional polite.

I had a very positive interaction with Mary at Moss Busters of Alaska. I needed a moss removal job done on short notice, and I received a call from her in a timely manner. She followed up with a call to inform me that the estimate was emailed and asked if I wanted to get put on the schedule. Their communication with me was superb. It turns out I didn’t need the rush job like I thought I did, but I know it will be easy to schedule with them when I’m ready.

My husband prepaid $720 for a service (roof cleaning and driveway cleaning) in October to be done in the spring. We scheduled it for today four weeks ago between 10-11am. By 11:45am no one showed up or contacted us. After contacting Moss Busters several times via text and phone call and hearing nothing, we finally received a call from the owner after leaving a comment on Moss Busters Facebook page stating the lack of communication was extremely unprofessional. The owner proceeded to ask us to delete the "nasty comment" and to tell us that he "didn't know" when they would be able to come to our home. At 3:30pm (after texting and calling several times), the owner informed us (via text) that they could not come and would issue a refund until they could complete the services we paid for. I asked for a refund and he proceeded to tell me there would be a cancellation fee. We then asked when we could reschedule and he stopped responding and blocked our account. We now have to request a charge back from our credit card which is quite a hassle. This company is very unprofessional and dishonest. If you book a service with them, be aware that they may not show up and you may need to go through the trouble we are having to go through to get a refund. What a waste of time we have had working with this company. Shameful.

Have had our gutter cleaned by Mossbusters for three years and find them professional and through. They went above and beyond gutter cleaning when I asked them to do some moss removal as well. Will have them back next year.

I contacted them to have the moss on the roof taken care of. They were very responsive and easy to get in contact with. They were able to make it out the day after scheduling. The team that was here was very nice and got the job done. They cleaned up the moss from around the house after they were finished. The roof looks a lot better. I would highly recommend them.

I've spoken to the owner/operator multiple times. He has always promptly returned missed calls (vmail messages) and throughly walked me through their entire process for moss removal. Professionalism and customer service is hard to come by these days and they provide both.

I was given a fair quote within 24 hours and the moss removal process was explained well, so I knew results wouldn’t be instant but that their process was the correct way to treat moss for the longevity of our roof.

Chris was professional, thorough and did an outstanding job. We have plants/shrubs around the majority of our house and Chris was very careful to protect them. Gutters are flowing well now and roof already looks great after one day. We would definitely use them again and recommend them to friends/neighbors.

When I first scheduled to have my roof done there was a problem where the previous job that morning took much longer than anticipated and they were willing to come out on Fourth of July weekend to do my roof. I instead settled on a date after the fourth weekend and they came out on time got right to work did a great job. They not only cleaned my gutters, they raked where all the leaves and debris fell out on the lawn, bagged it up, took it with them, helped me move furniture back, explained how that the roof was treated and what would happen with the moss that couldn’t get brushed off. It would dry up and rain would wash off the remnant's. I would definitely call these guys and get your roof done. As with anything, preventative solutions are better than having to put a whole new roof on. Thanks Jerod and crew I will be a return customer every few years for treatments.

We have a 25 yr. old roof that had moss and black stains on much of it. It now looks like new after this company did its magic. They carefully protected my precious perennial plants that surround the entire house before thoroughly cleaning and treating the roof. They were super nice, very professional and worked diligently on a job that we could not have managed on our own. My husband tried some of the spray-on moss treatments but not only did they not work, I was in fear of him falling off the ladder or the roof while attempting the job. This company solved our problem and left our roof and surrounding area looking like new. They cleaned out the gutters and washed the windows too! I will definitely use them again. I did get 2 other bids. The Moss Busters Alaska company included more services for a better price.

Moss busters was great at communication and easy to set up appointment. I do still have some black streaks on my house and some large amounts of moss. I did not receive follow up paperwork but they were responsive with an email and said the moss is sanitized and will come off eventually. However, I scheduled the cleaning in time for an open house so I will now need to rent a pressure washer and ladder to clean up the moss and black streaks still left.

I have one smaller side of the house that was not cleaned during the exterior washing portion. I would definitely recommend being home during the work as the little problems could have been addressed at that time.

The crew arrived on time, and were very professional. The process took around two hours, and no trace of moss remains on my roof. They cleaned out gutters, rinsed the entire house, washed windows, and raked, bagged, and hauled off all debris from roof. The price includes a two year follow up for chemical moss retardant. I would have given a 4 but when I was charged a mysterious $100 more without any explanation Months later I am now furious. They did a great job but on my receipt all it says is Facebook referral. I don’t have Facebook and the guys were gone when I got here. Nothing was explained on the phone when I prepaid this bill. I will be protesting the charge.

What a relief to hire such a competent company to take over these jobs for us. My husband and I used to try to deal with roof cleaning, gutter cleaning, and window cleaning every fall- now he’s busy with a new business and we’re older. They did a beautiful job- everything is sparkling clean and the debris taken away. I would recommend to anyone and definitely will call A Better View in the future.

They did a fantastic job cleaning our roof, gutters, and windows and cutting tree branches, and were cheaper than expected. They took about a week to clear to branch debris off our front lawn, but otherwise they were great and I highly recommend.

Wonderful, professional staff! I had 2 bids for moss removal done for my house. The first place only offered me moss removal. A Better View, LLC offered moss removal, gutter cleaning, power washing and exterior window cleaning all for about 15-20% less. The workers were professional and courteous. I’m very pleased with their work and am so glad I took the time to have a second bid done.

PS - They didn’t under cut the other guys, they didn’t know what the first guys were charging. That was just their quote! Highly recommend their services.
