The entire Far North Craftsmanship team and their subcontractors (Angler Electric and Rock Solid Plumbing) were far beyond five stars! The staff members were professional and considerate of our needs during our kitchen remodel. Our home was left clean each day and I felt completely comfortable having them in my home whether I was present or not. Joe did an incredible job with our cabinets! He is passionate about his work and it showed in the attention to detail and time spent making sure everything was perfect! Todd was a great lead, and Angelo’s team did great with our flooring. I would recommend Far North Craftsmanship to anyone considering a kitchen remodel.

In completing a shower renovation with far north craftsmanship, I can say that the install team was excellent. Prompt responses, flexibility with changes, and above all professionalism were experienced with Todd, our installer.
I will note however that there seems to be a disconnect from owner, Gene, to the specific job in particular. We did experience some miscommunication and fails in coordination which led to time and money on our side. Feedback was given, wouldn’t consider it received well though.

All in all, I would recommend far north, I’m sure the lack of ownership and professional conduct was a transient occurrence.

I put off doing kitchen and bathroom for 48 years! Have been burned on other rooms. Then found Gene with far north craftsmanship. I want to tell you we couldn’t be happier with everyone and everything! We had Wayne as lead and Todd and Alan were right there to help if needed. We had Tim to do our tiling. Really liked him also. Ryan from solid ground electric to do some wiring in this old house. They were all here when they said they would be. My house was left clean and as neat as possible. Would definitely use them again!! 5 stars in my book.

Far North Craftsmanship was professional from initial visit and conceptualization through project completion. They took on unique project (interior sauna build) that had been turned down multiple times by other contractors and executed it perfectly. The craftsmanship is top notch and we really appreciated the extra effort cleaning up the work space before they left. We needed a bathroom built from scratch in our unfinished basement. We went with Far North because of their reputation for high quality work. Gene the owner was responsive and quick to get things going. Matt, their lead carpenter was extremely professional and knowledgeable when it came to managing the project. Far North Craftmanship has created a beautiful deck, remodeled and installed our gas fireplace, and added cabinetry panels for our built in refrigerator. Each job had excellent results, and was performed professionally. We highly recommend this business!

Far North is outstanding! Gene, Tiffany, Matt, Allen, and Tim are awesome to work with and they work together so well! All the crew members exhibit exceptional professional character and skill. They carried out our full kitchen remodel and also installed new tile in the kitchen, dining, entryway, and bathrooms as well as the fireplace surround and kitchen backsplash. Additionally, they gave us new baseboard trim and did additional carpentry projects in our living area. They gave close attention to every detail and made sure everything was exactly right. We appreciated that the whole crew communicated clearly with us and asked for our thoughts and ideas throughout the project. We also really appreciated the "air scrubber" system used to keep the air and house clean during construction. Upon completion, they even provided a full cleaning service so everything was sparkling. We are truly delighted and highly recommend Far North! They do the job right!

We had 3 windows replaced in our house, also replaced our front door. The crew was very professional and did not leave a mess when they were done. I am planning on using them again next year when we replace our French doors.

Replaced bedroom windows with door for access to deck/hot tub. Far North came into my life when another contractor was unable to 'finish' a job already started (Covid-related). The estimate was timely, spot on when work was finished, and all work was done professionally in a timely manner. Most impressive was the cleanup--cleaner than when they arrived. The work consisted of replacing a large window with a 2-door installation for easy access from a bedroom to a deck and hot tub. My only regret? That I didn't look at their website first and select doors from them instead of the one I chose. I do LOVE my existing door, the work, the friendliness, cleanliness and timeliness. We are considering remodeling parts of the kitchen and will definitely return to Far North Craftsmanship for that work. Highly recommend them.

So happy to have this project done. Gene and his carpenter worked hard to take out one rotting board (in an awkward position) and bolster up the corner of our 2nd story deck where it had started sagging. I was amazed this was a job that could be done in winter as there was some snow and ice to deal with on deck. They work was done quickly and to code and looks fantastic. Gene and his crew do excellent work. We had them complete a full renovation of a darling cabin out in Chugiak that they put together top to bottom (electrical, plumbing, some framing, drywall, installed all new doors, kitchen cabinets, etc.). They are careful with their work and communication was great. I am very particular about all details and Gene made sure to keep me involved at every stage. I am also appreciative that while I was pushing to 'save costs' at times, he would push back and talk me through why this or that decision mattered for the overall longevity/usability of the cabin. The result is a happy, cozy cabin that we love!
