Edwin and his crew are the best. They are experts at what they do. Did my roof in 1 day, came out beautiful (21sq) including all new plywood. Fantastic job. Edwin also has a beautiful restaurant serving equadorian food in Meriden CT, also excellent If you need a new roof you can count on the Mckoy group to do it right.

I recently hired Edwin's crew to repair my front porch and balcony, which had started to pull about 6 inches away from my house. After reaching out to four other contractors who either suggested a full demolition and rebuild or never responded, Edwin stood out for his honesty and fair pricing. He was patient, accommodating, and took the time to explain the process, which made me confident in choosing him. His team worked quickly and efficiently. I'm extremely pleased with the results and would definitely use their services again!

I have been in the construction industry since 1976, worked with a lot of good contractors over the years. I have been working with McKoy Group now for a few months, and without any reservation would consider them to be one of the finest in quality, production, professionalism, and technical merit. They treat my project as if it is their own.

I want to give 0 stars!! Terrible experience. This has been a roller coaster ride of terrible customer service and professionalism. Edwin is not to be trusted. From the beginning he gave me one quote and then said to go through insurance because it would be easier. This is my first time owning a home and boy was he wrong.

I went through insurance just to find out after the roof was completed that he charges more if insurance is involved in order to get a bigger paycheck then what he would charge if it were in cash. That is not only unethical that is absolutely stealing from insurance companies. I asked him several times after I found this out if the price would differ if he I would've given him cash and he said yes. I explained multiple times that that is not right because it is the same exact job. He did not care. Waiting for insurance check to come in was a nightmare because they take forever.

All Edwin did throughout the waiting period was call me or text me to see if the checks had arrived. I had to stop picking up his phone calls and text messages and ask him to stop calling me.
DO NOT TRUST THIS MAN. He is basically a con-man with an LLC. I will reporting him to the Better Business Bureau for his lack of professionalism and unethical behaviors. He should not be in business. Go someplace else!

I hired Edwin to install a new roof on my garage, which was heavily damaged. Throughout the entire process, Edwin was patient and knowledgeable. His crew arrived on time and took great care to protect the surrounding area. They left the work area very clean and went above and beyond with what was asked. I would happily recommend him to others and use his services again.

Let me start off by saying that we were apprehensive about getting a new roof. We had a leak for over 10 years. We had the roof replaced 3 times and yet we continued to have a leak. Out of complete frustration, we called McKoy Roofing Group.
Edwin came out and showed us all the things that were wrong with the previous installations. He was very clear, answered all our questions, and explained everything to us. His quote was very reasonable.
Within a week, The McKoy Group team came and installed the roof and materials to correct the leakage. The roof was professionally installed with great looking results. Time will tell on the leak but so far it seems to be corrected.
I cannot say enough good things about the employees who work for The McKoy Group. The installers were exceptional and the office staff was very responsive. Karen was polite, always answering my questions, responding to e-mails and keeping in contact with Edwin and his team.

It was a pleasure doing business with the McCoy Group, LLC from beginning to end. Upon first meeting, Edwin was both punctual, and polite. He seemed knowledgeable about roofing and provided me with samples of his product and educated me about what was involved with respect to the ice shield, what was code, and what they did that was above and beyond. His quote was fair and the most reasonable of several gotten, and he was patient and helpful in choosing the right color of shingle, by providing me samples of houses he had roofed and bringing color samples to lay out on the drive to compare with my house. His crew were fast, efficient and thorough. Their workmanship was first rate, and as noted in a previous review, the clean-up was immaculate as there was no evidence of nails and debris from the work that had been done. I would give them an A+ based on my experience, and a recommendation without reservation!
