In contrast to many contractors, they give precise quotes, they stick to them and they build high-quality kitchens and bathrooms. Another unique feature is a commitment that once they start, they will not leave the project, and so completion dates become far more predictable. I cannot say enough about this group. If you know what you want to remodel but not sure what to do they also will help you with ideas. I have always gone into my projects knowing what I wanted to do but then Steve would come out and he would also suggest other options. The suggestions are always welcomed and sometimes even a better idea then what I envisioned.

Ive had numerous jobs completed by the Home Improvement Group and the professionalism and workmanship is alway spot on. These jobs include, building stairs, framing (walls and roof), a bathroom remodel (built in shower) and drywall work. I’ve always been more than satisfied. Good job Home Improvement Group.

Very enjoyable experience working with the Home Improvement Group, LLC. They were hired for our kitchen renovation which was a full scale demo, wall removal, header install, new floor, plumbing and electric utilities moved and new cabinet installation. They stayed in close communication, provided regular updates and overall happy with the experience. Would recommend them for your home improvement needs. We plan on using them for a bathroom renovation in the future.

I am very happy with the work that the Home Improvement Group has done for me over the past 2 1/2 years! The team is very easy to work with and seem to be master craftsmen. They remodeled my kitchen, replaced the flooring throughout the whole house, installed beautiful baseboard molding throughout the house, reconfigured the back door roof and many other smaller things for me. If I had a question about something, Steve and company were very attentive to my concerns. I recommend them to everyone. I am very pleased with the Home Improvement Group!

I purchased kitchen cabinets through Lowe’s and decided to pay for the contractor they work with to remove our old cabinets and appliances and then install the new ones. The owner of The Home Improvement Group LLC came out to take measurements. Steve was nice and seemed knowledgeable. All communication from that point was through someone named Bree. When the old cabinets were removed our microwave was broken. The button panel was torn off and the buttons no longer worked. They also left the fridge and stove (the two heaviest appliances) in the kitchen. I paid for someone else to remove appliances because I am not physically capable. As soon as I noticed the microwave was broken I contacted Bree. She sent Steve out to make sure it wasn’t fixable and made the comment that he wanted to take a look because the workers didn’t remember breaking it. Steve agreed to reimburse us for the cost of replacing the button panel. Weeks went by and I didn’t hear anything further so I contacted them again and was sent a check. The first day of installation they made a foot long scratch in our new hardwood floors. I mentioned this to the manager and they then put protection down on the hardwood. From that point forward they didn’t look or speak to me, only to my husband. There is a large gap between the foot kick and the pantry cabinet, almost all of the cabinet doors had huge gaps between them and many of them were mounted crooked. One of the drawers can’t be used currently because it hits the drawer above it due to being crooked. The sink cabinet was not screwed to the wall correctly so it was mobile and they installed our farmhouse sink incorrectly. It was installed too high for the countertop to be placed and they didn’t properly support it. They also vomited in my landscaping. When they put the appliances back they didn’t connect the dishwasher which I paid for them to do and they made another 3 foot scratch on our hardwood floors. They used quarter round from our garage without asking and this job took a total of 6 days. We had to reschedule our countertop appointment twice and still have to postpone it because the sink needs fixed. I paid for them to install the sink and now I have to pay someone else to redo it. My husband and I took off work a total of 6 days between the two of us so that someone would be here while they worked. We paid thousands in labor for the removal of cabinets and existing appliances, installation of new cabinets and range hood and sink and putting the appliances back in place and hooking them up. And NOW, my husband has to go back and redo or fix things. This is terrible quality work. When the Lowe’s customer service department contacted me after the job was done to ask how it went I told them everything and their only solution was to send the same contractors out to “fix” things that were within their scope of work. I told them I don’t have confidence in their work and do not want them working in our home any longer. The last thing I want is for things to be made worse. Their quality of work is unacceptable and quite frankly, laughable. The pictures speak for themselves.
