Location is great, but the hotel feels quite old and is in clear need of maintenance.

Our balcony door didn't close properly, which was a concern for security and let in a draft. Additionally, the air conditioning system was faulty; even when turned completely off, it continued to blow cold air from the vents, making the room uncomfortably chilly at night.

You're paying a premium for the location, but not getting a premium experience.

My wife was assigned this hotel by the BAD BUNNY VIBEE experience, the nights first weekend I will add AUG 2-4.

This place is a disgrace to the Hilton name, when she said what hotel it was I thought we were in for a good experience. WRONG.

The hotel: The location is beautiful and safe, that does not make up for the chaos inside that hotel. Only 1 elevator for I believe 15 floors. Having issues constantly, WE and other guest started using the employee freight elevators. Check in gets a section on it own.

CHECK-in: We arrived early at check-in 4pm at about 1pm. We were told we would have to wait. Granted, everything seemed ok. Until we noticed other people check-in and rooms were ready. We waited, at 4 pm my wife was serviced by a man named JUAN. My wife just asked for a Estimed time the room would be ready, he said " its ready when its ready". My wife said that's unacceptable, this now 4pm is paid time. HE again said he would not give a time. My wife then asked what her place in line was since she saw a stack of papers that she was not in being serviced. Juan said he could not give her that either, my wife then began trying to explain that this is not right and how she felt. I wish she hadnt JUAN was the most unapologetic rude, he finally yelled "FINE ILL GO GET MY MANAGER. We then waited 30 mins, my wife went int he direction where JUAN went, he cam back with a room key and NO MANAGER. WE asked for the manager he said he was not needed. JUAN was the most rude front desk staff, who would go on and BLACKLIST our room. We could not get room serviced, room cleaned because when we called the front desk, they would accept the request it would not be done. My wife went to the front desk several times. EVERYTIME JUAN and another heavy set curly haired man I believe was JESUS. THEY WOULD LEAVE THIER POST AND HIDE BEGIND A PODIUM AND TALK PHONE CALLS AND CHAT FOR 10-15 MIN WHILE MY WIFE WAITED. JUAN encouraged other front desk staff to treat my wife poorly and call others ahead of her. The problem here is we were charged maid service 2x with no service was given. HE made it his mission to ruin her time and I will be contacting Hilton about he employment.

ROOM: The room is in need of some deep cleaning, we arrived to the room, the beds were untidy, thankful clean. The curtains for the ocean view window were stained. SO the mesh was an ugly sight. The bathroom door was off the hinges and swung randomly. The bathroom need deep cleaning, mildew is visible. The room was never serviced or cleaned, even when asked. The room, is outdated no USB port charging, old phone system etc.

Uber/cab service:
Great location for pick ups, 5-6 rides for OLD SAN JUAN, CAROLINA, Plaza las americas, the concert $20.

My Wife and I stayed here for our wedding anniversary on July 4th before departing on our cruise. Our stay was very nice and the breakfast buffet was amazing! The staff was accommodating and attentive, especially our doorman Cesar was amazing. He not only helped us with our bags, but he gave us ideas on where to eat and gave us all the history of the area. If you get the opportunity to stay, be sure to ask for Cesar you will not be disappointed!

Absolutely Disgusting – Worst Hotel Experience Ever

If I could give zero stars, I would. We had no choice but to stay here because it was included in the Bad Bunny residency package—otherwise, we would’ve never booked this place based on the horrible reviews it already had. Unfortunately, all the bad reviews were 100% true.

The moment we walked in, we knew we were in trouble. The toilets were filthy, floors greasy, windows smeared, faucets caked with grime, and the shower glass looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. Literally everything felt dirty and neglected.

One of the elevators was out of service (apparently for a while), and the one that worked was painfully slow and sketchy. The whole place feels run-down and mismanaged.

The funniest part? The hotel loves to respond to negative reviews with copy-paste replies saying they’ll “take action”—yet nothing ever gets fixed. It’s clear management just doesn’t care.

No one should ever have to stay here. If it wasn’t tied to the package, we would’ve left immediately. Avoid this hotel at all costs. Absolutely disgusting.

Do not be misled by the overall rating of this hotel—this was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The room was not only dirty but also completely dysfunctional. Several serious issues included the presence of cockroaches, a non-working shower, a broken safe, a malfunctioning door, and bed sheets that didn’t even fit the bed.

We reported the door issue in the afternoon, but no one came to address it. Eventually, we had to switch rooms ourselves without assistance. To make matters worse, upon arrival, we were initially given a room that was already occupied by another family—an inexcusable error.

The elevators were unreliable and often didn’t work, and the entire property is outdated and far below the standards one would expect from Hilton—or any reputable hotel brand, for that matter. The way management handled these issues was completely unacceptable.

Absolutely unacceptable – a disgrace to the Hilton name.

This property falls far below even basic expectations, let alone the standards one would associate with the Hilton brand. Do not consider staying here under any circumstances.

Filthy rooms, cockroach sightings, non-functioning elevators, broken showers, faulty safes, and doors that don't lock properly—this place is a disaster. It's astonishing that this location is still allowed to operate under the Hilton banner. Avoid at all costs.

I do not recommend staying at this hotel. I found multiple roaches in my room during my stay. It was absolutely unacceptable and made me feel extremely uncomfortable.

When I brought this to the attention of the front desk, the response was indifferent at best. No real apology, no offer to switch rooms, and no sign that they took the issue seriously.

This kind of cleanliness and pest problem should not be happening in any hotel, regardless of the price point. I cut my stay short and will not be returning. Definitely look elsewhere

Believe everyone in the reviews telling you there’s mold here. The second we checked in I walked in and could smell it. You can also smell they’re trying to cover up the smell with some kind of air freshener. We checked into our room and when we got in I could smell it even more. Our sheets were dirty and it was obvious that they weren’t changed in between guests which in and of itself is disgusting and unsanitary. The sink in the bathroom was clogged. The door to the balcony didn’t close after we opened it because it had rusted to the point where the screw was loose. When my husband messaged them through the app to report these issues they told us no other rooms were available and opted to send workers to the room to fix our issues. Every single one of them that came were beyond annoyed we were complaining. The housekeeper came in without knocking and apologized because he said nobody had told him there were guests in here. Then he asked us what was wrong with the sheets and my husband told him there was a stain. It was a small stain but you should be changing sheets and pillow cases in-between guests and there would be no stains. It also looked like it could’ve been bodily fluid so that’s beyond just it being dirty. The mattresses are also super hard and uncomfortable. Then the maintenance worker was trying to gaslight us into saying the door could close and my husband had to point out the door jam was loose and he was dismissive and said “oh it just needs to be tightened.” This has been such an unenjoyable vacation my husband picked this hotel because he’s local and stayed here years ago and obviously they’re not investing their money into up keeping the hotel. We paid $1600 to stay in a stinky, dirty hotel. Will be reporting this to Hilton directly with evidence. I have no faith going to the management here will fix anything. Their sister hotel across the street is better. Edited to add picture of the roach we found in our bathroom.

Horrible hotel dirty hotel has roaches dirty bed linens. AC doesn’t work. Did I mention roaches. Hotel staff recommends that you stay at a different hotel. Front desk Managers are Conniving and not helpful. Save your money and stay far away from the is HOTEL its old and has only one working elevator that took over 10 mins for it to come. Alex gave me the run around after being in 3 different room within two days. I was offered 2 days of breakfast for compensation for having a roaches in my bed. I will never recommend this place please read all comments before making a reservation here.

Our experience at Condado Plaza Hotel was a rollercoaster. We arrived with excitement, but the reality quickly brought us back down.

❌ The first room they gave us was in terrible condition, and when we returned to the front desk to ask for a change, the receptionist’s tone was dry and sarcastic. “If you don’t like it, you’ll have to wait,” he said, cutting off the conversation. That moment set the tone for our stay.

✅ Thankfully, we met César at the concierge — a true professional. He kindly held our bags, guided us with local food recommendations, and reminded us what great service feels like.

The second room wasn’t much better: humidity, musty smell, dirty outlets, rusty vents, stained curtains, and a door that clearly hadn’t seen paint in years. The vibe was uncomfortable.

The only bright spot: housekeeping. The cleaning lady was attentive, polite, and did her job with heart. People like her — and César — are why we didn’t give this hotel a 0.

In short: great location, poor maintenance, and a mix of excellent and careless staff. If management values their team, they should elevate people like César and invest in proper training at reception.

We filmed our full experience and posted it on YouTube. You can find us as @Arroyo_Vlogs.

➕ Little details matter: They only offer 2 bottles of water per room. We had to go to the front desk just to get them.

⭐ Final Score:
• Rooms: 1/5
• Service: 1/5 (except César & housekeeping: 5/5)
• Location: 5/5

I've never written a hotel review before, so here goes my first attempt. Let's start with the positives: the staff was fantastic, especially Raul at the front desk, who provided us with excellent restaurant recommendations. We ended up returning to a couple of those places twice!||Unfortunately, that’s where the good news ends. The hotel itself was dirty and in disrepair. Throughout our four-night stay, only one elevator was operational in the main lobby, and the other was out of service with no visible efforts made to fix it. This was particularly frustrating because the elevator often didn't stop on our floor, forcing us to walk to the opposite end of the hotel and use the poolside elevator instead. The bathroom in the main lobby didn't work forcing guest to take the escalator to the second floor. The carpets in the hallway dirty and stained. ||Moreover, my room was not up to standard. The curtains desperately needed washing, and the red couch was stained to the point where I refused to sit on it. There was a persistent puddle of water outside the shower that I couldn’t control. At one point, I was locked out of my room due to a low battery on the door, and despite being promised that security would come to assist, I ended up waiting half an hour before having to return to the front desk myself.|My friend discovered a roach in her room, and her door didn’t close properly. After switching rooms, she faced another problem with water pooling from the neighboring room. I could go on, but it hardly seems worth it. Hilton, you need to do better. The Marriott would never let this happen.

Perfect location. It's in the middle of everything. You are minutes away in any direction to a piece of history and great food. The Hotel amenities are meant to take advantage of especially the pool areas for both hotels.

This hotel was great four our family of 4, (including two teenagers). The location was perfect for walking to restaurants and easy to drive to anywhere. The pools were awesome! We loved the swim up bar and the slide. The nice little beach is right off the pool area. The downsides were a few little cleanliness things we saw here and there, and the biggest issue was that the kitchenette is in the bathroom. The toilet and glass shower were not separate so there just wasn’t much privacy. One elevator was broken and the others took forever. But honestly, none of those were game changers for us. The ocean view from the balcony and the desk staff was so helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

To: Hilton Guest Assistance
Subject: Urgent Complaint – Condado Plaza Hotel Stay Reservation #3297982658

Dear Hilton Guest Assistance,

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding my recent experience at the Condado Plaza Hotel in San Juan, Puerto Rico, which I booked through Hilton. I am extremely disappointed and concerned by the conditions I encountered, which not only failed to meet basic hospitality standards but also posed potential health risks.

Upon arrival, I waited approximately 15–20 minutes at the front desk due to understaffing before I was assisted. I was initially checked into a room on the 5th floor, which was in deplorable condition. The room smelled strongly of mildew, and the balcony curtains were visibly covered in black mold—a serious public health concern. This immediately prompted me to return to the front desk to request a new room.

Unfortunately, the second room on the 7th floor was equally unacceptable. It was visibly unclean, with pubic hair in the shower, stained bedding, and smudged sliding doors—complete with lip and face prints—suggesting it had not been properly cleaned at all. At this point, I informed the front desk agent, Jesus, that I would not be staying at the hotel and requested to cancel my reservation.

I was told I needed to wait for a supervisor, Alexander Dobard. After waiting an additional 15 minutes, Jesus informed me that the supervisor would not be coming as he was on lunch break. Jesus then agreed to cancel my reservation so that I could leave.

This entire experience was not only disappointing but distressing. The presence of black mold in the room is a serious matter that should be immediately addressed. Furthermore, the lack of urgency and basic customer service — especially when a health hazard is involved — is unacceptable for any hotel, especially one affiliated with Hilton.

I have already contacted Hilton Guest Services and was told that my experience was “unacceptable and not within policy.” However, I have not yet received a resolution.

RUN! Let me save ya’ll from this disaster. Hilton may have its name on it but I can promise you this is not a Hilton. This is a large motel at best. If you’re expecting Hilton standards - I can not stress this enough DO NOT STAY HERE. They have not done any renovations. Firstly, the lobby was underwhelming, & clearly outdated and poorly done. The elevators? Only 1 working in each section (separate elevators for certain areas) I took the stairs almost the entire time, definitely no AC in the elevators either. But the rooms were absolutely atrocious. No fitted sheets, could see the crusty old mattress, stains on the sheets, cleaning was minimal, dirty feet from walking barefoot, could see the dust on surfaces clear as day, as if they never took a rag to wipe them off, hair in the shower, leaking ceiling from the AC, leaking sink faucet, and dirty, black mold on the bedroom curtains, not to mention the light fixtures are rusted in every room, the bed lamps? Never work. We had 4 rooms, and I even switched rooms so we saw 5 of them. They were all like this. We got there on Thursday. By Saturday morning - my voice was gone & had throat and ear pain. On Friday morning one of my gfs woke up in a coughing fit. By the end of the weekend, half of us were sick (I still am) The hotel is dirty, musty and moldy.

Before I booked this, I was planning on staying at the courtyard Marriott on Isla Verde, someone said this place was nice and so I went with it. Biggest regret and mistake. If I wasn’t with a large party I would have moved hotels however it was a hassle with many people. Do yourself a favor stay somewhere on Isla Verde.

The only perks to this hotel were the large bathrooms, nice view and the pool was a good size with a swim up bar. If you’re a frequent flier to Hilton’s or Marriott’s I can promise you, you will be beyond disappointed.

Just a 10–15 minute taxi ride from the cruise terminal. The terrace is perfect for enjoying drinks with a beautiful view. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance along the main strip. The room was clean, quiet, and had a nice balcony as well.

This hotel is absolutely disgusting. I checked in my room and there were stains on the couch, you be the judge of what those stains look like, the floor was so sticky my flip flop came off my foot. I went to the help desk to complain, the person was very helpful and quickly transferred me to a different room, which smelled and that couch had stains as well.
Beautiful view but definitely not worth the money. I am mortified at the quality of this Hilton

My 20-year-old daughter traveled alone from Miami to San Juan and had a prepaid reservation at this hotel (Hilton Garden Inn, Condado, San Juan - July 10, 2025). Upon arrival, she was denied check-in. I called the hotel from Miami and spoke with the manager, NAIR CONTRERAS, who repeatedly told me that “no hotel in Puerto Rico allows anyone under 21 to check in” because it was “Puerto Rico law.” This is completely false, the legal age of majority in Puerto Rico is 18, and several hotels, including La Concha Resort, where we were fortunately able to book a room, accept guests 18 and older without issue.||As parents, we were deeply concerned by the misinformation being stated so confidently by someone in a managerial position. After booking the new hotel for my daughter, I called the Hilton Garden again to let the manager know that her claim was incorrect and that her false statements had caused unnecessary distress. Her only response was a dismissive “okay,” and when I asked whether she believed we deserved an apology for being misinformed, she said “no,” insisting she was simply stating Puerto Rico law, which was clearly not the case.||Her attitude was rude, unempathetic, and entirely unprofessional, especially for someone representing a brand like Hilton. She showed no willingness to help, no accountability, and no basic courtesy in a situation that was obviously stressful for a young traveler and her family.||Furthermore, hotels like Holiday Inn Express and AC Hotel by Marriott, both located in Condado, allow check-in starting at age 18, not 21, clearly proving that Contreras’s claim was incorrect.||I do not recommend this hotel to anyone seeking respectful, informed, and helpful service. Thankfully, the staff at La Concha treated us with warmth and professionalism, resolved the issue quickly, and demonstrated that there are indeed reliable hotels in San Juan that operate with accurate policies and trained personnel.

I visited here with my mother two weeks ago. When we arrived in San Juan it was past midnight so it was late when we checked in. The receptionist recommended we switch to the higher eighth floor because the views were better, but we quickly found that all the elevators were broken so we switched back. They must have been trying to give our more accessible room away for a better deal. Then, when we got to our rooms I quickly got under the covers only to find the bed was full of sand and had not been changed. My mom's bed was also full of sand, hair, crumbs, and dirt. No one picked up when we called the receptionist and it was 2am by this point so we ended up sleeping on towels on the bed until morning.

In the morning, we informed the front desk who said they would comp our first night and switch us to a different room. When we got to the new room, our key did not work and a custodial worker yelled at us saying we did not have any luggage so we must be trying to break into the room. We returned to the front desk and asked if they could just clean our room and we would stay. Later, we found that they only comped the first night's resort fee, which is only about $30.

Overall, location is good but the service is terrible. Rooms are dirty, elevators broke down more than they were functional, and its overpriced for what you get. I personally will not be returning.

Swanky, sleek, modern hotel located right on Condado Beach in Puerto Rico. It is just a 5- minute car ride from the cruise port. I bought a resort pass to use the pools and the private beach for a day when I was there on my recent MSC cruise. The staff was very welcoming and accomodating. The food was pretty good, too!

I was hoping for more when I booked this hotel so I was very relieved we only were planning to stay for 2 nights. The concierge at the front desk was very rude. In fact, another customer or employee who was speaking with the second concierge asked us if we just needed to check in and when we replied yes, he motioned for the other gentlemen at the desk to help us and only then did he begrudgingly acknowledge our existence. No greeting of any kind or any use of the words, please or thank you throughout the process. It was very late when we checked in and we did not see the messages that we needed to bring our parking pass to get validated AT CHECK IN. The gentleman who checked us in, with several bags in tow, did not bother to mention it either. We only learned about the mishap, two days later, when we were heading out to our next destination, which caused a delay in us getting going. I could also tell that the room and the bedding had not recently been cleaned. The hotel itself was beautiful, but we will not be visiting again based on the other issues we encountered.

First off! We stayed in the sister Hotel across from Condado Plaza back in September2024, and it was absolutely beautiful. The only thing g they did not have in the rooms was an iron, however they had a steamer. My husband decided the trip we take we would stay in Condado Plaza because he loved the ocean view. We'll to our surprise. We did not get an ocean view room. We got one facing the busy streets of San Juan. When we walked into the hotel, it was very appealing. But ONLY ONE EVELATOR WORKED, throughout our entire stay, leaving all gust to wait 20-30 minutes just to go to our rooms. In which ours was located on the 8th floor. We walked into that room, and could have walked straight back out. Firstly, it was very dated. We thought we were in the motel. The tv was fuzzy. The curtain was barely hanging on. The bathroom needed to be cleaned (thank God) I brought cleaning supplies. The bed was a box bed and the pillows was very flat. It was very unpleasant. The ice machine on the 8th floor dis not work. They had no microwaves in the room, and the one they had was in the cleaning supply area and they only had two that barely heated your food. They sold us a big lie. Not to mention we had a 1 year toddler with us. That made nothing better especially when waiting for the evaluator and needing to feed him with no microwave for convenience. We were highly disappointed and will not ever stay at the Condado Plaza again. I will like to thank Alexander (Night worker) he saw how long we were waiting g for the elevator with the baby and he gave us complementary breakfast vouchers and he greatly apologized. Well, he only apologized for that one situation, we was overall highly disappointed in the entire hotel and our stay.

From start to finish, I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Hilton Condado Plaza in San Juan. It’s honestly the best hotel experience I’ve had so far.||Although our room wasn’t ready upon arrival, we didn’t mind at all—we were able to enjoy the beautiful pool and beach while we waited. The atmosphere was relaxing and gave us the perfect start to our vacation.||A special shoutout to the charming doorman, Israel, who greeted me and my friends every single day with such warmth and kindness. He truly made us feel welcome. Raul at the front desk also made check-in a breeze—he was professional, friendly, and very helpful.||The staff throughout the hotel were lovely. Our room was clean, the bathroom was spacious, and the balcony view was to die for!||The pool and beach area were definitely the highlight, especially the bar right inside the pool—such a fun touch that made our stay feel extra luxurious.||I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in Puerto Rico. Thank you, Hilton Condado Plaza, for such a memorable experience!

This hotel has pros and cons. Starting with pro, its location is ideal. It is located next to a beach where you can snorkel. Short uber to old San Juan and walking distance to many other attractions such as Condado Beach. Housekeeping did a phenomenal job servicing our room during our 9 day stay. My only complaint is that the window is too dirty to see the view.
The cons, this hotel is not like most Hiltons. It is in desperate need of repairs. None of the elevators work properly. You will wait 20minutes for an elevator and then it will be packed full and skip floors. They closed the pool early at night and for 3 hours on a Saturday. They charge way too much in extra fees and resort fees, especially because many of the amenities are not as advertised. Example, no tennis court and pool table has ripped felt. The tvs are not smart tvs and you only get a few channels with bad signal. Overall, if they made some much needed repairs and lowered their fees, I would stay here again

amazing service, saltwater pool ,normal chlorine pool, jacuzzi, and theres a bar in and out of water for those who want to drink, theres vending machines and kitchen with much food to order outside by the pool and a nice gift shop inside, there are iguanas and sometimes cats freely walking around outside also as some hermit crabs around the small beach and some bushes. if you are not okay with a little bit of wildlife you just need to suck it up because your literally on an island. there is a rainbow bridge connecting to the other part of the hotel on floor M. there is also a nice gym on that floor.

If I could give zero stars I would. First - the sheets are the worst I have ever laid on. The hallways smell like a urinal. I booked to be closer to airport on a Thursday night and was not informed there was a private event that included pounding music until 11 pm. Very rude front desk person. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. Pool is much smaller in person, look on the other side for hotel that faces ocean and doesn’t smell like

The location is great. The grounds are amazing and are well kept. The rooms are dated and in dire need of an upgrade. One main lobby elevator was out of service. The laundry room needs to be serviced to ensure the coin and soap machines are operating properly. We had to drive 30 minutes to find a laundromat. We had to live out of our suitcases because there was no dresser in the room. And too much dust. It also lacked a microwave. This is why I only gave a 3 stars rating.

I stayed here four days, the hotel is very nice. They have two pools, access to the beach and a bar in the pool area. It’s very clean I would definitely recommend. The only thing I didn’t like were the hidden fees they have checking in..We had already paid for the room and we knew about the resort fee that wasn’t my issue..It’s $80 dollars per night for the deposit, it’s $25-$30 dollars per night for parking in their garage..if you stay make sure you have extra for the hidden fees…I definitely would recommend this place my comment is to prepare you for the extra cost and not find out as you are checking in..this information needs to be added to website.

I live in Orlando and I have been visiting this hotel monthly for the past year and a half for a week.Even though I love its location and beach, I have to mention that the problem of the elevators is severe and affects the service greatly, I will give a 4⭐️…
But it is worth mentioning that there is an employee (Ismael)who always makes my experience a memorable one despite the circumstances. To him I will give 5⭐️ His positive energy, willingness and professionalism make all the difference. It doesn't matter if it's early in the day or at the end of his shift, his smile and disposition is always the same and selfless. If there were more employees like him, this hotel and Puerto Rico’s tourism would be more successful. Thank you Ismael for your excellent services.

Great location, and view from the ocean view room, but the rooms lacked a microwave, frig melted everything that was to stay frozen, and there was a muggy smell our whole stay (condensation). Guest services kept saying they would come to fix the issues but never did. Guest services only offered a room change on our last night, but we were too tired and didn't see the point with us leaving really early the next day.

Very beautiful hotel. Smelled amazing as soon as you walked in. We had a ocean view room it was beautiful. We couldn't get a late check out but we're allowed to leave bags with concierge for a few. Will definitely book again.

We planned a weekend gateway from Friday June 6th- 8th. On Thursday , I must have called 9 times to inquire about eateries, etc , at different times during the day and no one picked up. |We arrived Friday an dat check-in I communicated to the front desk gentlemen that i had called so many times and showed him my phone, he said they mustve been busy with clients and I asked all day ? and he said, well if we are busy, we are not picking up phone and handed us our keys and pointed to the elevator, with rudeness.||We then decided to go to the pool across the street, which the hotel has full access to. We first needed to get the pool bracelets from our pool. We went to the pool and there was no attendant there. We waited and waited, then went to the front desk and the lady in front desk, couldnt be bothered. She said' Youre going to have to wait until the attendant returns, because i dont know where the bracelets are.".. The front desk staff was super rude that day. We wasted so much time waiting then finally left.||To make things worse, we woke up th next day, and my entire makeup which i had laid out on the bathroom counter was wet. I looked up and the ceiling was leaking from the bathroom upstairs. As we were leaving, we informed the housekeeper in the hallway. ||At checkout , we expressed our disappointment ad left early. By far, this has got to be the WORST Hilton property we ever stayed in.

Great location close to restaurants, beach, shops, and convenient store. Beautiful views everywhere. Ocean view room has amazing view. Easy access to everything. All at lower cost than other hotels in the area. Will definitely be back again.

We had to move right after unpacking because our door was so bad it would only shut if shoved hard! So we packed our suitcases again and unpacked 5 floors down as that was the highest room available. The door to our new room was still sticking and we had to push it with our feet while opening to have it open. Same thing with our balcony. The worst were the elevators! One has been broken for months and apparently no plan to fix it. The other lobby elevator broke on us on the way down and we had to walk the stairs. The other elevator by the pool also was down part of the time we were there. Obviously times to go up and down were long sometimes. The manager finally gave us a coupon for 4 drinks and 4 breakfasts. The breakfast was fine, typical Hilton breakfast. We found out drinks were only a few cheap drinks at the pool bar. Overall disappointing overall. While the beach right there and the pool area was good as well as a great view, this Hilton needs to learn how to maintain their property!!!

We were wanting to eat lunch before we left for our cruise but was nervous about finding the restaurant. One of the workers Luis A. Was kind enough to walk us to the restaurant.

Also, one of our suitcases broke and a gentleman working in the lobby went and got string tape and taped the suitcase up really good until we can get a new one.

The location of the Condado Plaza is excellent! Check-in was super easy, and the gentleman at the front desk did an awesome job of explaining all of the hotel amenities. We had a room with an ocean view and king-size bed. The room was very clean. All of the staff that we encountered were extremely friendly and ready to assist if needed. We used the hotel taxi service to go to Walmart. The driver was super nice because he waited for us to finish. This hotel has two pools. The large pool has a slide, and the saltwater pool is located by the jacuzzi. While sitting poolside enjoying a pina colada, a huge iguana came out of the bushes and just walked around like it owned the place. It didn't bother anyone, and nobody bothered it. I thought that was pretty cool. I rated the hotel 4 stars because there were a couple of things that I noticed. The Condado is one of the older hotels and could use a little TLC. When we walked around the grounds to explore, we noticed chipping paint, rust, and erosion in several areas. One evening, while admiring the view from the balcony, I saw a rat run into the bushes by the back stairwell deck. The next evening, my friend saw a rat by the stairwell near the pool. That was a little unnerving. Other than that, we had a really good stay at this hotel.
