They canceled my first appointment and they rescheduled for a month later, not ideal but ok. On the date (after driving over an hour to meet) they picked they did not show up. Called in and they said I was on the schedule but didn't populate on the schedule. The next date to come and do the service is two months away (that would make it 5 months trying to get the service completed)……Called Mid-Atlantic and they can come next week and have just as good ratings. Can't speak to their job quality....but fair to say the customer service is poor.

My chimney cap blew off in a storm. I had no idea who to call. Boy, was I lucky. The person (I'm so sorry I can't remember his name) the Chimney Guys sent was fantastic: professional and personable as well as expert in all things chimney. He offered me three different solution options and quickly effected the solution I chose. I highly recommend TCG for all your chimney problems.

Nick (the owner) came out today to inspect my chimney at my request for a cap. Lo and behold, it already had one which I was unable to see.
However, they're were other issues which were causing water leakage down into the fireplace.
Though he was there to just inspect and give me an estimate, he was also able to do the needed work right then and there. His fee was very reasonable as well.

I would call on the Chimney Guys again for sure. Nick's work ethic and knowledge was impressive, to say the least! Thank you to The Chimney Guys!!!

Nick and Chris showed up at the scheduled time (I had received a reminder via e-mail the day before) and did a thorough inspection and cleaning. No chimney sweeps had ever done such a thorough and detailed inspection before, which included a LOT of photos of the inside of my stove as well as the exterior of the brick chimney. They found a few minor things that needed to be fixed, and took care of all of them during this visit. I am very pleased with their work and look forward to seeing them again next year.

The Chimney Guys do good work. They use cameras to show to show how clean the chimney really is and they don’t leave a mess. It’s reassuring to know there is no issues with my wood stove or chimney.

I haven’t used their services, but was in Lowe’s staring at the chimney supplies attempting a “do it yourself” project. A gentleman that works for the Chimney Guys was standing next to me and gave me some good advice and really went out of his way to help me. I wish I’d gotten his name!

Based on my interaction I’d definitely use the Chimney guys in the future. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly.

The Chimney Guys are great! Our tech, Jacob, was on time, cleaned and inspected our chimney, thoroughly cleaned up and was pleasant to work with. Highly recommended.

Jacob was our inspector. He was very knowledgeable and was able to educate me on chimneys. I ordered an inspection and sweep, but during the inspection he said that the chimney was already pretty clean and we did not need the extra expense. It was great to have The Chimney Guys be transparent. I highly recommend this company very professional, the kept the house clean and put back everything leaving the house as it was before they got there.

Jacob arrived at our house about 11 am to examine our wood stove and fireplace chimney. I think Jacob did an excellent job. He stayed pretty busy taking pictures of everything. Whether it was close the the wood stove or fireplace or up the chimney. Jacob was also very pleasant to talk to. He also explained everything very well.

Very progessional, informative, detailed and gave my family peace of mind needed with our fireplace. Would definitely recommend and look forward to working with them in the future.

Incredibly, when I called, an actual human being answered! I had an excellent experience. Explained the process as he went along, left the area around fireplace/stove cleaner than it was found. Cleaned the chimney and also figured out the backdraft smoke issue I was having. It’s a great company.

Our technician, Jacob, was terrific! Not only did he express a friendly, helpful attitude, but was extremely knowledgeable about his craft. He explained everything in easy to understand terms.

With the exception of being an hour later than the 1-3 pm Apointmrnt arrival window....and lack of updates on the delay....the service was good.
Suggest you book the first appointment of the day if you are not flexible with the service appointment arrival time.

Excellent service. Appreciated the information that was provided with pictures so I understood exactly why and what he was going to do. This will be my go to company!!!!!!

They did an extremely thorough inspection and cleaning, far more extensive than we’ve had from other companies. They provided an organized detailed report on all parts of our chimney that were not in ideal working order and options to repair them. It was more expensive than any other chimney sweep we have had ($350 compared to $200 range) but it was worth the cost! They spent 3 hours here compared to 30-45 minutes from other companies.

I was very pleased with my experience. It was easy to get an appointment for an inspection and cleaning. Jacob came earlier than expected but he called beforehand to make sure that was okay; he shared his knowledge about the structure of my specific chimney and things I could do to keep it in good shape for continued use; he showed me images from his inspection and recommendations; he was friendly, knowledgeable and he gave his service with a smile. You could definitely tell that he enjoys his job! I had never had my chimney swept before and didn’t know what to expect. I had images of soot flying everywhere. However that was not a problem at all. I would highly recommend The Chimney Guys!

Couldn't rate the experience any higher. The Chimney Guys were on time for each appointment, extremely patient while I asked lots of questions. Today they installed an MF Fire Nova fireplace insert- Isaac and Eric were extremely courteous and went well above and beyond to ensure I was pleased with the installation. In fact, they installed the insert twice in order to accommodate my request for an additional fabricated piece of framing. Great experience.

Wow! The Chimney Guys are awesome! Not only did Jacob look into an issue with the chimney when he came out to clean it, he also made the front glass on the wood stove beautiful! He communicated well, showed up on time, and were very easy to talk with. I highly recommend the Chimney Guys!!!

This process was very simple and convenient. The appointment was made via email, with reminders ahead of time. Jacob called ahead and arrived as expected. He was very professional and considerate of the fact that I was working while he was there. After his cleaning and inspection, he used pictures that he'd taken to explain what he encountered and followed up with an emailed inspection report. Nick came out to inspect and clean our chimney and he did a great job! He answered all my questions and was very professional. He also kept my living room spotless even while cleaning out the chimney(a very dusty job I assume). I also received a detailed report of the chimney inspection and recommendations on how to move forward since our fireplace is unfortunately in rough shape.

I was really impressed with the young man who came out to clean my chimney. He was extremely thorough, honest, and personable.

Our home was newly purchased and the wood burning fireplace had not been used in many years. We wanted an inspection to feel confident using it this winter. Chimney Guys LLC were very professional from making the appointment, to reminders, to the inspection and report. Our fireplace did not need cleaning and we can confidently use it.

Chris was professional and did a thorough inspection of our wood stove and chimney. He carefully inspected prior repairs, tuck pointing and the existing chimney cap in addition to cleaning the flue and stove.

When his work was complete, Chris stepped through a report on his tablet that included numerous pictures and a listing of recommended repairs. He was able to let us know which of the recommended improvements were more important and urgent, and which could wait. He offered perspective and solid solutions, as well as explaining what The Chimney Guys would recommend for a long lasting resolution.

We found it refreshing how The Chimney Guys pointed out potential future issues while also letting us know the pros and cons of which needed immediate attention. We would recommend The Chimney Guys to anyone with a fireplace or wood stove, and particularly for those with a dormant fireplace they are interested in putting back into service!

The Chimney Guys came and inspected and cleaned my primary woodstove chimney, and inspected 3 more unused chimneys at the roof level to make recommendations for future work. I was pleased with the quality of the work, the cleanliness of the job, the interior view they provided of the cleaned chimney, and their recommendations for future maintenance. I recommend them for any chimney cleaning needs.

I absolutely will recommend this company, and use them yearly to inspect and clean my chimney. I wasn’t able to be at home, but when I spoke to the secretary at the office, I was able to make arrangements to where they could come to my house and be let in and still clean my chimney and inspect it for me. It was such a huge help because I couldn’t call out of work and I was in a bind. By the time I got off work and got home, I was able to meet the gentleman who serviced my chimney, he was very kind, very thorough and explained everything to where I could understand. I was highly impressed with everything! Five stars for the chimney guys!

I loved dealing with this company, Selena, who talked to me many times on the phone is patience, kind, knowledgeable and thorough. Her follow up is superb also.
Jacob came for the inspection. He too is knowledgeable and polite and efficient.
Their prices are reasonable too.

I think these guys are awesome. They have replaced the liner in my chimney. They were very professional. They come year after year to check it. They go up on the roof. They put a camera down The chimney so you know what's going on with your chimney and may check the caps on your chimney and just some great people to deal with.

The Chimney Guys once again did a fabulous job of cleaning and inspecting the chimney. The cleaning process is thorough and even provides photos of the liner from bottom to top.. We feel confident and ready for another season of wood burning thanks to the Chimney Guys.
