The Moseley crew was very professional. This is the second time I have used them and have been impressed both times. They communicate when they will be there and they do just that. They clean up the space nicely. Their prices are very reasonable. You may be able to finder cheaper but you will not find better. They have found mistakes in my HVAC installation where the previous home owner probably went with a less reputable installer.

The gentlemen were very professional and took extra care in my home. There was a hole on the outside wall that was not part of the installation but they covered it and caulked around it. They were neat with their work. The final product is just what we wanted!

In July our 30 year old kitchen wing air conditioner compressor went to Freon heaven. And the same week, a the fan driving our main air conditioning went out. Terrell Moseley didn't miss a beat, had us back up and running in no time, at a very reasonable cost. For maintaining a 100 year old home, they're the greatest. For all the homes of whatever age we've had in Lynchburg over the years - and there have been over a dozen - they've been the go-to company.

We had a middle of the night with pur HVAC. I was able to text in the middle of the night to have them respond in the morning and even arrived earlier then expected. Service technicians were professional and were ( thankfully) able to remedy the issue within 30 minutes. Thank you!!

We have been with Terrell Moseley since 1986! They have cared for our boiler, radiators, and hot water heater over the years. Recently we installed a mini split system in our house. We were simply amazed at the professionalism and work ethic of their installation team. As with everything, they are prompt, respectful of our house, skilled and communicative about what they are doing. They leave the worksite cleaner than they found it completing the wok in an efficient manner. In a word, they rock! You won't go wrong with their products, the installation, and the service that they will dutifully supply throughout the lifetime of the system.

Great company to work with. Gave us an estimate well within our budget and had a new heat pump system installed within 2 weeks, even during the busy Holiday Season. Installation technicians were on time and efficient. They went over the unit as well as addressing any questions we had. Company did a follow up as well as forwarding paperwork and registration documents. Cant say enough good things about Terrell E. Mosley and have no hesitation in recommending their services.

I used Terrell in June of 2021 to replace my AC unit. They came when specified and it only took them about 5 hours in the rain. They got me cool with my new unit. I used them 12/23/22 because my furnace caught fire on 12/09/22. They came and removed my old furnace and put in a brand new furnace within less than 5 hours. They are very professional and right on time. A great group of guys. I can always count on Terrell E. Mosley.

They replaced my boiler heat system and did a great job. They got it done in a day. What impressed me the most was their communication. When emailing or calling with them, they would always get back within the day. I would definitely use again and recommend to others!

Unsatisfactory communication

I reached out because I wanted to get a new heating/ac combo unit put in at my elderly parents house and was connected with David. David came out and we went over everything and it was great until the very last part of the transaction. I filled out the paperwork and made the mistake of leaving out some info. David was kind enough to let me know and I responded promptly with the information that was needed. After that, nothing more was said. I reached out again asking for an update, nothing.

My feeling is, don’t leave the customer wondering what happened. If there’s opportunities to correct an issue, reach back out to the customer instead of leaving us hanging. I’m very disappointed.

He put in a new furnace I didn't have a co- signer but he let me make payments. PAID IN FULL

This business is a multigenerational business. They are family owned with other employees. They do excellent HVAC and AC work. They have knowledge of many types of systems. The office staff has always been pleasant and helpful.

Service man was very polite, friendly, and answered all my questions about my unit.I really appreciated that he didn't lie to me and say everything was fine, and hand me a huge bill. My unit is over 11 yrs old, they are not going to get the Freon anymore for these old units. How often do you run into a honest repair man? Their service Fee was cheaper than the other's too! When I do get another unit, I will call them, GREAT SERVICE!!!

All I can say about the team I had is Wow. We recently moved into a older home and with no heat in below freezing temperatures, it was time for a solution. After getting the run around from a couple other local companies a colleague gave me the number to Terrell Moseley. They came the next day gave an estimate and began working the following week. The team arrived early and stayed late installing a full HVAC system. They stayed way past business hours for two days to insure my kids would not be cold anymore. They were knowledgeable, Respectful, and walked me through the entire process. Before they left they made sure the system was in complete working order, they Even mopped my floors and cleaned up the basement. When they left everything was better than they found it. I had an ancient cast-iron boiler that was original to our 1948 house. My contractor told me Terrell Moseley was the only heating company that replaced cast iron boilers and he highly recommended them. And he was right! Professional, honest, punctual, Terrell Moseley had to break down the giant old boiler and install a new one in less than a week right before Xmas. Christmas Eve day, they were still finishing up, making sure they left us with a safe, energy efficient heating system that is about one-fourth the size of the original locomotive. We highly recommend Terrell Moseley.

I'm a 65 year old single woman. I purchased a boiler from Terrell E. Moseley, Inc. a few years ago in my former residence. They replaced the boiler in a timely fashion and I had no issues, so when the Central Air Unit in my new home stopped working on July 12, 2023, I of course turned to this company to install it. I got a few bids first and told them that I wanted them to install the new unit on July 14, 2023. They had to order parts, etc., so they weren't able to install the new unit until July 20, 2023. Thankfully, I was able to borrow a window unit during that time. On July 29, 2023, the unit stopped working. I called the company and was told that no one could come out until Monday, July 31st. I got very upset and the tech finally agreed to come out on the 30th. He replaced a fuse and within an hour the unit stopped working again. I was then told that he didn't know how to fix it and that a different tech would need to come out, but they wouldn't be able to come out until Monday, the 31st. I soon received another call from a different person who said that the unit probably needed a wire, but he didn't have any of that type of wire with him so he would be out first thing in the morning.
I am understandably upset as this is a brand new unit that is less than 10 days old and it non-functional at this point. I am not a young person, and I have animals in my home. I sincerely hope that they get this unit to function properly soon. I think it is unacceptable to not have competent AC people on call when the weather is as hot as it is, and after spending a great deal of money for a new AC unit, I expected better.
UPDATE: A gentleman arrived at approximately 8:30 am on July 31st. He worked on the unit for about an hour, replacing a wire to the thermostat. The AC started working and has continued to do so all day. Although it was a rough week, I'm extremely grateful for that the unit is finally functional.

David and Terrell Moseley have serviced my heat pumps, and those of my family, for years. This includes two new installs, one for me and one for my parents when I was a child. The products they install have lasted for years. David is professional and fair, so is his staff. I trust their work. I could not recommend another contractor any higher than Terrell Moseley.

We had a "mini split" system installed in our bonus room. Terrell E. Moseley ďid the work which was completed in one day. They came to our home when they said they would. They were efficient, very knowledgeable about the product, and very neat. We will definitely use them again. We are very happy with the system which was installed about a year ago.

Great job on installing a Munchkin propane gas boiler for our heating system. When it developed a water leak after about a year due to a faulty part, they fixed it fairly promptly and under the warranty. We have a service agreement with them for annual service on the boiler. They come on time.

these guys run the worst business I've ever used. never seen anything like this. I've paid them to fix my heat pump and it's been 1 month and it still not working right . they tell me the times they can come out and fix it so I have to miss work like today guy tells me he will be here at 10.00 . no show I call them back at 11.00 they said they are behind give them an hour . it's 2.00 and they still haven't showed up. I'm write this because I hate to see anyone go threw what I have missing work and comfort of my home for a month now because I used this sorry company . please what ever you do don't make my mistake . I wouldn't let these guys change a light bulb.

My husband and I had heard that Mr. Moseley has a reputation for overcharging people and falsely claiming that things were wrong with their heating systems so that he could make more money. Whether or not that's true, I do know that we called another company to service our heater and not only did they charge us a third of what Mr. Moseley had quoted us, they responded more quickly to our request - making it out to our home in hours instead of days - and were much more helpful than Mr. Moseley in general. Since then, the leasing company we're renting our house from has worked with Mr. Moseley. When we recently needed work done on our heater it was such a disaster we ended up just calling another company and paying for it out of pocket. We recently moved into the area and are renting while we're looking at buying a house. We definitely will not be using Terrell Moseley when we buy our new home!
