Mark was a great help. Very responsive over the phone and helped me understand every step of the process and dealing with insurance

Mark claimed he would help us get out of our lease contract, when he did not do so. Having paid for the service now feels like a waste of money. He did the testing properly, and tried contacting the apartment complex on our behalf, but it was not enough. They should not be assuring customers they can do things that do not come to fruition. If you are looking for someone to help get out of your moldy apartment, just go straight to code enforcement and consumer affairs. This company is not worth the money.

Do not hire this company for mold remediation. I hired Mark last June (2023) to test for and to remediate mold in my condo. A few months later I realized there was still mold (per my allergic symptoms) and contacted Mark via email which he did not respond to. Recently (May 2024), I hired a reputable firm to retest for mold and learned that the mold was not properly remediated in my home by Mark and his employee. The firm I hired has indicated he did not provide proper documentation of the work performed to me. The company I hired to redo the testing found that certain areas were not properly treated and in another area, the molded drywall that was cut out behind the dishwasher was left behind the dishwasher. Hence, the mold has reminded in both areas. Mark has not responded to my emails to discuss and has not offered any compensation for the work that I must have redone. In addition, the repair to one area of a textured wall was very sloppy - it was behind my sofa so only saw it when the area was recently retested. In addition, the paint used in the same area does not match the remaining wall. These are just high notes. I have since learned that the same company should not both perform the test and complete the remediation. I have also been told the areas should have been retested and a certificate of remediation issued which would be needed to resell. In addition, pictures nor details of work preformed were provided. Mark was quick to request cash payment (almost $7k) and to show up to collect the cash when I was working with him.

Mark came across trustworthy and knowledgeable which is why I hired him last June to do the work. Since, the lack of response and learning about what should have been that was does is a red flag.

Absent of any response from Mark, I will file a complaint against him and TCB Enviro Corp with the BBB and the Department of Business and Professional Regulation under mold related services. In addition to lack of response, inadequate and incomplete performance of this type of service is not acceptable.

We can’t begin to thank Mark from TCB EnviroCorp enough for showing up at our condo! We’re new to the mold world down here in St Augustine, and Florida. We were lost in what direction or course of action to take, and appreciate Mark’s patient explanations on identifying mold, taking air samples & swabs, and what would be needed to have a safe environment in our condo! Mark is fantastic! After he did such a thorough job the first time, I called him again later for another property. He took time to answer all my questions and concerns. I called here this morning as we are experiencing a nightmare with a landlord in St Petersburg. I was looking for answers as I was getting no where at every turn. He even offered to look at all of the documentation that we have to date, free of charge! You don’t get that too often. First of all, I want you to know that mold this type of mold is the scariest thing we face in a very long time. Mark just took us under his wing, reassured us that everything would be all right and that he would Tess and ease our minds, and tell us exactly what to do. Which he did he showed empathy and kindness, like I haven’t seen in a business in a very, very long time. He was efficient. He found black mold and advised us of the dangers and how to proceed next. I would recommend Mark especially to anyone and everyone even if you don’t see Mold have your home tested because it can be hiding in dark places that you cannot see. It might just save your life. I’m pretty sure Mark saved hours ‘!

Mark is exceptionally experienced and learned in the mold and moisture arena. He spent over 2 hours with us comprehensively going over every area of concern ide and outside the ho in 1936). His recommendations were insightful, practical and very helpful. We are awaiting the lab results re mold which will come in a few days. We will definitely have Mark come back to do whatever work is necessary to cure the issues. Bottom line, we have trust in Mark and his company. He was also pleasant, courteous and professional.

Off to a great start!
We met with the owner, Mark. He is a 37 year industry veteran with a broad range of experience - from residential to heavy industrial. He educated us on his process; he cited risk points in our home, he located exiting damage, educated us on causes and provided numerous possible solutions. He then took surface and air samples which we will be reviewing in greater detail together within a couple of days. Assuming that we will proceed with remediation and restoration, Mark will take the lead on filing and negotiating insurance claims. The entire process is turnkey and very easy for us. We are profoundly satisfied thus far.

Mark with TCB was wonderful to work with. Knowing that we were in a situation that required prompt action, we were able to get an appointment immediately. Mark outlined expectations and delivered on every step of the process. He was professional, reliable, and prompt. Our son lives in a small house we own near Chattanooga. He has health problems that we believe are from mold that is not visible. We've unsuccessfully tried a lot things to fix the problem. Mark was generous enough to patiently listen to my detailed description of the situation and give me a thorough and complete course of action to remedy the problem. I certainly wish I could have TCB do the work, but at least Mark coached me through the process. The information and advice are GREATLY appreciated.

I noticed water leaking in my pantry from my upstairs laundry room and found TCB to do an assessment of the damage. It was the end of the work day but they indicated they could get someone out first thing in the morning. Mark showed up right on time and helped to evaluate the damage. Things started off great. Mark was very responsive when I was sure we had found mold in our home. He came right over and tested it for us. He seemed to care about the issue and seemed interested in helping us getting it fixed. That is until we told him that we were going to use him to treat the mold only and that we were going to use our friend who has a construction company to do the rebuild of the room. Once we told him that all communication stopped. This is months after we had wasted time dealing with public insurance adjuster when I’m pretty sure they both knew we weren’t going to get insurance to cover the issue. Needless to say we wasted MONTHS of our time with this company only for be to contact another company and have the mold issue taken care of in a weeks time, and for a fraction of the cost that Mark was going to charge us. Needless to say don’t waste your time. There are better and faster options out there.

Nowadays it’s rare to find someone who knows what they are doing, someone who is knowledgeable, and does everything they can to help you. Mark Mongon did a phenomenal job inspecting my apartment & explaining to me every detail to get to the solution. He is the reason my apartment management is trying to help me now. I have asthma and he pretty much saved me. Mark Mongon is definitely worth your services!

I was informed that I needed a mold inspection on a Friday night. When I left a message for TCB EnviroCorp,., I did not expect to hear back until Monday. This was not the case with Mark. He called me right back with very helpful information and subsequently inspected and produced a report in a timely manner. He made a nightmare situation not so horrible with his expertise and friendly professionalism. I HIGHLY recommend.

Mark was extremely responsive and helpful. I put in the request through Home Advisor on Friday and he called me within 5 minutes. Then he was able to come out immediately that following Monday. He confirmed we had mold in our master bath, ran both a swab and air sample and has us the results Thursday morning! Terrible experience. Once he got the insurance money it took him 7 months to remove the mold from my house. He kept saying it would be soon and every time I reached out to him he would say oops basically. It's now at the end of april (process started in October of last year) and the work is still not done. He was extremely attentive and helpful in the beginning. But again, once he got money, crickets. This has been the most frustrating process of my life.

We are in contract to purchase a home and our inspection period was about to expire. Mark understood our position and was readily available within 24 hrs to perform his inspection... on a Sunday btw. In less than 2 days we were able to get our results and report. Thank you so much for all of your help Mark! We highly recommend TCB Enviro and will continue to use their services when needed.
