DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!! On April 11, 2024, Alex Harris of Tallahassee Gutters came to look at the problem I was having with my leaking gutters. He said he could install new gutters with gutter guards and enlarge the downspout. I agreed and on April 17th, the project was completed and I paid $600. After the next rainstorm, the same gutters overflowed and washed away my raised flower bed, mulch and dirt down the street. I had just replaced the rotten timbers around the bed with new wood. I have called them over 20 times since then to come fix the gutters. Alex finally set up a time on November 12th to do the repairs. He never came and never called to reschedule. After that, he would not answer my calls. Today, I had another gutter company come look and was told not only were the gutters put on wrong but there were no gutter guards installed and no enlargement of the spout. These people cheated me out of $600!!
The decision was made to use Tallahassee Gutters for the installation of gutters; however, the experience has proven to be unsatisfactory. The gutters were installed on January 10, but the downspouts were installed incorrectly, causing the water to run outside and resulting in leaks at the corners. Recommendations for this company cannot be made due to ongoing difficulties in reaching them since April, leading to concerns that phone communication may have been blocked. The experience has been particularly disappointing, especially given the installer’s suggestion to use a black color for the project, despite the intended dark brown color being quite different, especially in a new construction setting. Furthermore, the claim of a satisfaction guarantee appears to be misleading, as does the 100% satisfaction guarantee mentioned on their website. It is advised to seek a reputable company that can provide the level of service and quality that your residential or commercial space deserves.
I hired Tallahassee Gutters to install all new gutters around my house. I will say it did not take them long to start the job. Part of the process was to put up a "super gutter" along my screen enclousre. After they gave me the price and were about to start the job, the owner called and said that the quote was done wrong. He wanted to only use part of the "super gutter" because it was expensive and he would not make any money off it. I said that would be fine as I know they are running a business to make money. Their supply cost went down, but not change in my bill, but I was fine with that. Work began and they installed a portion of the "super gutter" along the screen enclosure which protectected my patio. Or so I thought that was the case. Once they finished the job I paid them before they left for the day. I did a walk around the house to check on the work. The work was to include all new gutters and downspouts. However, 1 old downspout had been put back up and not replaced with a new one. I called the company and let them know. I also mentioned that one of the gutters was low on the end and water was just pooling up in it and not draining. They advised they would come out and fix the problem. They did come out and put up a new downspout but they did not fix the low gutter. After a few more rains, I called again and asked them to come out. They said they would, but they did not show up. Several months go by and I notice the "super gutter is not draining and water is pouring over the end. I go up an check it, and find the drain hole is about the size of a 50 cent piece and 3 leaves are clogging it. I know you get leaves in the gutter, but the hole was so small that 3 leaves were stopping it up. Additionally, water was dripping all the way down the "super gutter" where i matched up to the house. Now when it rains, my entire patio gets wet from all the drips. Not really sure why, but I called and aske them to come out and fix it. They said they would and they still have not shown up. After several more months, I noticed during a rain that that gutter on another side is bending. Not sure if it wasn't secured properly but the water flows down the roof and straignt over the gutter onto the ground where the two bends are. As if I don't even have a gutter on the house. Again, I called and mentioned the problem to them and they said they would come out to fix the problem. Guess what, they still have not come out. This gutter was installed in 09/23 and it is now 7/24. Not once have they called and said they are still trying to get out here, just nothing from them. So, If you are looking for a gutter company I would recomment you go somewhere as it seems I will have to call another company or make these repairs myself. I have enclosed a picture of the bend that has formed in the gutter.
