Homeowners Beware of Justin at Tailored Projects LLC in Prosper, TX!
My company was hired to install new windows by Justin at Tailored Projects LLC at the home of one of his clients in Prosper, TX. We always send our proposal quotations to the party that is going to pay. Justin told my salesperson that HIS CLIENT WAS GOING TO PAY for a couple of additional windows she wanted that were out of the scope of the insurance work he was doing. So that is what my salesperson did - she sent the proposal for the additional windows to the homeowner... which was the ethical thing to do. Justin became upset because he was planning on marking up those additional windows 40% to his client.

Why did he even tell my rep his client was going to pay for the additional windows to begin with? I suppose Justin became upset because we limited the profit he was planning to make on the overall project. Long story short, we installed all the windows we were contracted to install. The homeowner paid us for the windows she committed to pay for. However, Justin never paid us for the insurance claim windows we installed for him. Bottom line is this, he likely marked up the insurance claim windows by 40% and got paid for the claim. So he still would have made money on our efforts even had he paid for the windows. Instead, Justin decided to steal money from me in the amount of all the costs and expenses I had invested in the work he hired us to do. Justin profited handsomely for the overall project while I lost money on the overall project due to Justin's unethical actions.

This project happened in February 2025. Justin is cunning and knows the legal way to get out of doing the right thing. He stalled and stalled in terms of making good on his obligation until the time that he knew he would be legally off the hook for his debt. If you ever have the opportunity to do business with Justin at Tailored Projects LLC, Prosper TX...Run (don't walk) the other way. If I could Give 0 stars i would! I never imagined I'd be sharing this, but my experience with Justin and Tailored Projects, LLC was a nightmare I wouldn't wish on anyone. What should've been a simple repair for water damage turned into an 18-month ordeal that drained us emotionally and financially.

Justin seemed trustworthy at first, but he lied from the start. He convinced us to demolish our entire downstairs, claiming it was necessary for insurance. It wasn't. He then submitted fake photos and inflated costs to our insurance company - $89,000 for demolition that should've cost $15,000-$18,000. His fraud led to our claim being denied, leaving us devastated.

The deceit continued when Justin tried to bring in his own adjuster, pressuring me to sign over control of the project. I later learned this was not only unethical but illegal. This experience has made me wary of trusting professionals in my own home.
The financial toll has been crushing. We've spent an additional $120,000 fixing Justin's damage. For 18 long months, we lived without a kitchen or family room, accumulating $80,000 in living expenses. I often think about how different things could've been if we'd filed directly with our insurance - they said it would've only required $4,000 in demolition and $8,000 total for rebuilding.

Every corner of my now-repaired home reminds me of the stress we endured. I worry about other families falling victim to Justin's deceit. That's why I'm sharing my story - to urge others to avoid Justin and Tailored Projects, LLC at all costs. If I can prevent even one person from making the same mistake, reliving this painful experience will have been worth it.

Don't let Justin into your home. His dishonesty and incompetence will cause more harm than good. I strongly believe the state of Texas should revoke his right to work. Please, learn from my mistake and stay far away from Justin and Tailored Projects, LLC.
