Bret repaired our roof vent stacks and did an excellent job, but what really stood out was his communication. Unlike other roofers, he was always responsive and never left us wondering what was going on. He kept in touch throughout the process, regularly texting us updates and his schedule.

I sent requests for estimates to several roofing companies. Not only was Texas pride the lowest bidder, but Brett was the only roofing contractor to come to my house and visually inspect the roof. A crew of four removed and reinstalled shingles on my 2400 ft² roof in one day. They spent a total of 14 hours doing the job. Not only does my roof look great, any places where water could possibly get in was protected with roofing caulk. They had to remove and replace my satellite dish and when it was reinstalled it was perfectly aligned. Before the crew left they went around the entire perimeter of the house picking up debris and sweeping for nails with a magnet. When Brett came over for a walk through with me, he went over the perimeter again checking for debris and any missed nails. The job was completed on time and no extra fees or cost were added to my original estimate. Brett was great to work with and he kept me informed and even sent photos during the process. I highly recommend Texas pride if you have roofing or other construction projects that need doing.

I needed a new fence due to age and wind. At first the weather wasn't cooperating but Brett stayed in contact with me. Once the weather was clear his guys put up the fence in a single weekend. Requested a roof repair for shingles that flew off. Called 3 contractors and Texas Pride’s price was 2/3 the price of each of the other two contractors. He came out the next day and repaired in a few minutes. He speaks english and shows up when he says he will. He also noticed some other pieces coming off and sealed them in without any additional charge. Didn’t try to sell me a new roof or upcharge me and but gave me some advice to make sure it stays in good shape and reliable. He was very honest and also has a sense of humor!

Like many, this last round of storms removed a few shingles from my aging roof. I reached out in the afternoon and Bret responded quickly, arrived that same evening and even put a temporary fix in place to hold us over that night until he could get back out to make permanent repairs. Got the estimate the next morning which was very fairly priced and his team was onsite within a few hours of accepting the quote and got me fixed up just in time for the next round of rain. My neighbor recommended Texas Pride to me and I could not be happier with the company. I needed my roof looked at after the recent hail storm. The roof was beyond just repairs. Bret delt with my insurance company so I did not have to. When they came to redo the roof my yard was tarped off to prevent any debris from being left in my yard and to prevent any damage to my landscaping. My new roof looks great. My name is Joe my house was hit by hail in a bad storm, it totaled my roof and damaged my fence.

We had already worked with Bret in the past. so we went ahead and used him on the roof replacement and dealing with the insurance.

He was able to get a few items added that weren't on the original insurance estimate. Which was good for us we were able to upgrade our shingles to impact resistant.

We scheduled the roof insulation while we were going to be out of town on vacation. I did not want to be around for all the banging. My wife's only concern was the front flowerbeds and all the flowers. Bret promised to cover them all up and keep them safe.

We left Bret a key and off we went margaritas on the beach. We came back home to a new roof with our flowerbeds exactly how we left them. After the roof, he built us a new 8 ft board on Board

We had a part of our roof fall out (see pictures for before and after, I've heard people call it doghouse, but don't know the exact term), discovered it Saturday afternoon. Bret's company was referred to me, fast response time, he came in that same day to take a look, got my issue resolved the very next day. This all happened during mid January, with about 30 degrees outside, so appreciate the fast turnaround and work he did.

Bret and his guys Josue’ and Jose did an amazing job on our arbor over our master bedroom back deck. They came out to look at the job and gave me a very fair quote for the job, and once I approved it they got to work and finished it very quickly. Now it’s on me to run my electrical for a fan and string lights so that it can be closed up with cedar underneath. We couldn’t be happier with the project.

Chris stained a new fence I share with the next door neighbor so I wasn't really his customer but when he stained the side of the fence facing my yard, he was the nicest guy ever! Very polite and ran to shut my back gate when he saw my Yorkie was outside. He also did a great job with the stained, no mess left behind and it's beautiful.

Jackie and Lance were extremely courteous and professional. Jackie did an excellent job preparing and then staining our fence. It looks great. Chris an Angel did a poor job of replacing the rotten pieces if wood, most of the nails weren’t even attached. Ended up with more holes in existing slats. Would not recommend. They said they would come back because stain they put on wasn’t dry even after 4 days. Never heard from them again

After - number of hail storms, I was in the market for a new roof. Contacted Bret and they worked with my insurance company. They did all of the negotiating on the roof and made it a pretty painless process. The roof looks great. There was one little snafu found after they were done but it was made right quickly. He also recommended someone who I hired to clean out my dryer vent and they did a good job too.
Summer 2024:
Was worried about my chimney after I noticed flakes coming off. Another company quoted me an outrageous amount so I contacted Bret again. He came out quickly and gave me an estimate. He also said the work the other company said I needed, I didn’t. Work got done quickly and for what I think is a fair price.

I contacted Texas Pride after a recent wind storm took out part of my fence the day before Christmas Eve. I knew it would be tough to get anyone to come out but Brett responded to my call within an hour(and this was late at night). He came out on Christmas Eve day and did a good patch job on the fence until I can get it replaced. His quick response is much appreciated. I will be happy to use this company again for work around the house. Thanks!

Matt came out and repaired my Patio roof. Not long before we had to move out before our closing date, a wind storm came through and ripped off our roofing on our patio. Matt came out on New Year’s Day to repair it for me and it looks just as good as it did before! Great price and great down to earth people!

A couple years ago we had a hail storm in Carter Ranch and we needed a new roof. Now my wife and I are in our 70's so you want to be cautious. We had a lot of contractors knocking at our door, but we didnt know anything about them. I had met Bret a few months earlier when he was working for my neighbor and felt he was honest, hard working, young man, so we called him and we weren't disappointed. Bret took charge, worked with the insurance company to get everything we needed to bring our roof up to code. Plus move money for things the adjuster had missed. Now after 2 years since our roof was installed we haven't had one problem. I now morning let call Bret my contractor I also consider him my friend and I would highly recommend Texas Pride Roofing to anyone who needs a new roof or repair!

a company full of lies. We are going to our lawyer with our home security camera videos of the agreements and I have the contract and everything on video. He is full of lies. The theft of our $1000 never returned or work completed. He did not complete the contract. He has ties to bad people. My lawyer told me to stop all communication and never do business with him. Let the legal system handle him. I No longer live in the united states. But i hope he learns there are always eyes and ears listening. and its best to be completely honest. we have hired a different company to finish the work. and then sell the house. I wish him and his company the best. But needs to be completely honest. and complete the work that was paid for. Luckily we have the transaction on video and the work agreement that was supposed to be done. He is racist also and Not a good man to do business with. I was very careful what i told him. I could tell he was not honest.

Called Bret on a Monday evening and had a new iron gate on Thursday evening! Dog had chewed thru 2 cable wires and i need a gate to keep him from ruining football season!!!! Excellent work and clean up. I will be getting my new fence from them next spring as well!

A few homes in my neighborhood have had roof replacements. Not sure how to go about this process but I had to have it inspected due to the fact my house was placed on the market. It was in my best interest to have the roof reviewed and repaired or replaced if needed.

After a full inspection, Bret told me it was not necessary to replace the roof and there was only a few minor repairs. He recommended I contact my insurance company to verify if they felt it prudent to have an inspector investigate the roof as well.
