This job included a roof and gutters replacement as well as a wood fence power wash and staining. It was completed on December 31, 2024. It was completed by Refined Roofing.

The final product was excellent. Some points worth mentioning are:

The on-site supervisor (James) for the roof and gutters work was very involved in the process. After the roof and gutters work was completed, he and I did a walk through. During that process I pointed some items that appeared to be not completed (unintentionally) to my satisfaction. James either corrected them “ on the spot “ or explained the reason why it was that way, to my satisfaction.

This company subcontracted some of the work. All the crews I came in contact with were very professional and easy to talk to. One of these contractors went well above the call of duty. Washbroz (the fence company) showed up on December 31, 2024 due to various weather related rescheduling issues. They stayed here until late in the evening until the work was completed. It’s worth mentioning Marcelo, the Team Leader. He was very professional and patient; never in a hurry and an excellent listener (a trait rarely seen these days). He not only answered all my questions, but corrected items I pointed out to him immediately.

Overall, excellent work.

Brent at Refined Roofing did a great job throughout the process of inspecting the damage, getting the claim approved and working with me to schedule and complete the job on my timeline. Once we set a date, the roof was completed in one day which minimized the inconvenience. I recommend Refined Roofing and while I hope not to need them anytime soon, would not hesitate to have them replace my roof in the future.

No regrets at all. Quality work already holding up to some of the early spring storms. I just wished I would have used Refined Roofing on my previous homes.

We had hail damage from last March on the house and fence and requested Refined Roofing to check it out and see what if anything was needed to be done. The owner Brent was very good at explaining every little detail and coordinated the whole process to completion. We live at the entrance to the subdivision and wanted my home to really look good for people coming and going. Boy did Brent get it right, it looks amazing and very classy to my wife and I. We have had several folks stop as they were driving by and comment jake great my home looks and several in the neighborhood wanting to do the exact same colors! Brent was a pleasure to work with. He made the process for a new roof very easy. The workers were fast, efficient and professional. The quality of the work was top notch. The best part, I never felt pressured. Refined Roofing was the only contractor that did not act like a typical vulture.

I had a great experience with Cody and Brent from Refined Roofing. They inspected my roof after a recent hail storm and confirmed I had damage and most likely needed a new roof. They helped me complete the claim with my insurer and were onsite when the adjuster came out. Their knowledge and expertise was instrumental in getting all of the benefits I was entitled to from my insurance company. The crew showed up right before 7am and worked until almost 9pm and then finished the job on day two about 2pm. As you can see in the pictures, the roof looks great and I even upgraded to a
class 3 shingle to help with future north Texas storms. I would gladly recommend these guys to anyone when a roof is needed.

Jarrett at Refined Roofing TX worked with me and my insurance company to replace my roof after hail damage. I was very happy that they were able to talk to the insurance company on my behalf and meet with the adjuster. The insurance company approved a new roof, replacement of some windows and screens, and re-staining the fence. The roof replacement was great! The roof was replaced quickly and I am completely happy with it! However, I'm not so happy about the rest of the items that were supposed to be included in the claim. Jarrett seemed convinced that the whole fence should be able to be replaced by insurance rather than just re-staining it, so he was trying to work with the adjuster to get the replacement covered. When the depreciation check came in the mail, I went ahead and signed it over without thinking. Big mistake, since not all the work was done yet. I kept periodically checking back in with Jarrett to see how it was going getting them to approve the fence, but apparently he had been having trouble reaching them. I periodically reached out for updates, but it seemed no progress was ever made. Finally I just told Jarrett, let's just go ahead with all the work that WAS approved by insurance and let the new fence go. I had to keep reaching out periodically because he would never be the one to reach out to me. Finally, 4 weeks after telling him to let the new fence go, he reached out to pick a color and scheduled someone to come stain the old fence. However, the windows are still not done. I keep reaching out periodically and he says he will call back but then doesn't. It's been 2 months since the fence was stained and the windows are still not done. Lesson learned: do not sign over the final payment until ALL the work is done.

Refined Roofing and Brent did a great job replacing my roof! Prompt, quick, with thorough clean up and supervision. I love my new black roof and new black paint make the vents and diverters match. Not only did they care about my roof, but they checked for other damage and persuaded the insurance company to stain my fence and repair damage to my ceilings I did not even know was there. I had a contractor who supervised and checked in. I was blessed to find this company!

I am very happy with the job that Jarrett, Brent, and the Refined Roofing crew did to replace my roof. It was quite an ordeal working through things with my insurance company and Jarrett was there every step of the way to help guide us through the process and help us to advocate with the insurance company to get all of the damage covered. We have 49 solar panels on our roof as well and I was very impressed with the crew that Jarrett and Brent brought in to remove and reinstall the solar panels. Very professional and knowledgeable owner, explained me the types of damages (wind vs. hail), classifications of weather events covered by insurance, coverages, claim process step by step, Texas state insurance laws and regulations, HOA compliance... and etc. - you name it. My Mercury insurance was a pain to work with (moving me from one adjuster to another 6 times and etc.), but Refined Roofing beared with me, patiently providing all required documentations, pictures, estimates, supplemental and etc. All work was done quick, team cleaned up everything after. After calling a handful of Roofers to come out, when it was raining. No one wasn’t able to come out the same day, to inspect our Roof but Brent and Chris came out. The best part is that they even helped me with my insurance company too because I heard about the nightmare stories about them taking there sweet time. When Cris came to our house offering a free inspection, we were skeptical. We had a company look after the last round of storms, but they told us it was fine. Lo and behold, Refined's assessment was much different than before. Basically we said if you can convince the insurance company we were game. Sure enough the insurance inspector arrived, Cris was up on the roof for over an hour with her, in the end, it was even worse than we thought. We recently decided to put our house on the market in Pflugerville, Texas and we knew it would be a bit of an uphill battle having an 18 yr old roof. Our hope was that we wouldn’t have to replace it, but we knew in order to maximize our return investment we would be better off to do so. To be honest, we were dreading the process and hoping to avoid it.
After having the house on the market for about a month we were getting great feedback but we could tell the roof at the end of its life was a huge deterrent.

We began the hunt of a reputable, honest and (most importantly) an insured roofing company and we effortlessly chose Refined Roofing TX after speaking with the owner, Brent. From the moment we explained our situation he immediately jumped into action. It was if he felt the weight of this decision as much as we did, he truly cared about helping us. He drove hours to our area that weekend to give the initial inspection and guided us step-by-step through to homeowners insurance claim process.

He showed up to meet the insurance adjuster upon inspection to ensure nothing was missed. We offered to be there to meet the adjuster so he didn’t have to travel again for this quick appointment.
