Taft Roofing did a fantastic job on our roof. We had some pretty bad hail damage from a storm, and our entire roof needed to be re-shingled. From first engagement on the estimate to the final cleanup, these guys were uber professional and friendly. They provided us with a shingle sample book that helped us pic out our color and explained the entire process. They came in with a very competitive price, compared to other roofing companies. They did a fantastic job on the roof, and took care to cover our bushes and yard to protect from falling debris. Afterward, they cleaned everything up perfectly. I went around the house with my metal detector and couldn't find a single roofing nail left behind. They even helped to replace a vent cover on the side of the house, since they were up there. We were happy to support a local business, and would definitely recommend them.

On time, answered phone every time I called and gave the best price. Did the roof quickly, no mess left. Very satisfied with this company!

I've had 2 dealings with Taft. First one was back in 2017, had a metal roof put on and couldnt have been happier. Price was really great, work was done quickly and very well done, have no zero issues with the roof and was very satisfied. This January, I called them to see about having a roof put over my back deck and figured it would be another flawless job. My son and I had framed out the deck roof, it only needed plywood and roofing. Wanted to do metal, but I was told that due to the pitch of the roof membrane roofing would be best. I should mention my first time, the owner came out and couldnt have been nicer when he gave me the estimate and choices. My second time, it was, I assume his foreman who came out. He was nice enough, but I recall he quoted me a lower price than I ended up paying. To be fair they DID send me a written estimate which was for the amount I ended up paying, but I distinctly recall the original verbal estimate being lower and based on my previous experience with Taft, I didnt read the written estimate so that was on me. The other problem was, when getting the estimate, there was no mention about the framing we had already done. The day the crew arrived to do the work, they milled around and then left after a few hours. When I was able to contact the foreman, he told me the framing wasnt safe and the crew didnt feel safe working on the roof. He also offered me the option of te=aking down the entire framing and letting them re-do it, for a substantial additional cost. I declined and said I wanted them to honor the original agreement. The next day they returned and after nailing a few 2x4s in place to " sturdy" the roof framing, the put the plywood and membrane on. When they were done and I was handed the bill, I said that wasnt what was originally quoted verbally, however, after checking the written quote I went ahead and paid the quote since it was my fault I didnt read it. SO far I have had no problems with the roof and I am satisfied with the workmanship, but I still felt the foreman was somewhat disingenuous in his original quite vs the written quote and I felt he was trying to con me into paying for work that wasnt needed. I should also mention I was told they would not honor any gaurentee for the work since I refused to let them redo the framing. I suppose to sum up, the work is decent enough and as long as you make sure what you are quoted verbally matches what you get in writing they arent awful, but I still feel the customer service dropped off quite a bit between the 2 jobs. I should mention my son just had them redo his roof and he says he was told they gave him a 30 year warrenty on the shingles vebally. I thought that sounded a bit fishy but when he got the invoice after paying it said it was only a 15 year warrenty which is about the normal. I' give them 3 stars because the work is decent, but I feel they need to do a better job of saying what they mean.

They were working on the house next to mine and I was having my deck stained and sealed. They knowingly blew debris off my neighbors roof into my freshly painted deck and ruined it. They also threw debris off the roof and nearly missed the contractor who was painting. Negligence in a roofing contractor is seriously dangerous. Do not use this company.

I am not sure why some people have given bad reviews here. If you contact the owner I am sure you can work out a solution with him. Thank you Mr. Hoskins!

As I was looking online to get Taft Roofing's mailing address I came across the reviews, I hate to see that someone had a not so great experience with Taft Roofing. From the time I called to set an appointment until my roof was completed I had a wonderful interaction with Taft. I highly recommend this company.

Very unprofessional. These gentlemen will talk a good game and come with a good price; But when its time to work, they will halfway do the job and give you the "NO GUARANTEE" speech. I've dealt with many shady companies in my time, but never as worthless as this company. Taft Roofing, I will be contacting the BBB and whomever else within my reach; To get people to understand what kind of business you are running. If my tenants have to deal with rain coming into their apartments because you could not fulfill you promise, then your company will be exposed for the workmanship you've proven incompetent.

We were victim to a microburst and after our insurance rep gave us the go ahead, we contacted 4 roofing cos in our area. Taft staff called back first (we only heard from 1 other) , had a estimate for both the roof & inside repairs w/in 3 business days. Their crews did the project (weather delayed X2) 15 days later. Microburst 9/23/18, repaired 11/8/18). They updated us as needed & the craftsmanship was without flaw. Michael & Lisa Hofmann

They did an excellent job with everything. I received my quote in a timely fashion, shingles arrived when expected and fabulous cleanup when job completed. I highly recommend using Taft Roofing.
