I had TK Construction Stain my house and they did a first rate A+ job. The sub contractor (Adam Hanson from Hanson's Painting) they hired was awesome and he did great job. However I also contracted them to install a French door as well. They did install the door but I did need to call them back to fix some of the trim issues which they were very responsive on. However the door never latched right. When I brought that to their attention they came out and looked at it and blamed the door knob as well as the door (which is the one that they told me to order). I told them it was the striker plate and it needed to be dremeled down but it turned into emails instead of support so I got a different door knob, used a dremmel and did it myself. They promised support with any issues but in the end I did not see this with the door. I had a stroke over a year ago and doing these things are difficult for me so I expected them to bak their word. They said the door must be defective if it needed any adjusting and the bid would needed to be higher. It took 15 minutes with a dremmel. Adjusting a striker plate is common on a door. I would not use them again.
We hired Tk construction to add some finishing trim work to our new home and to add a closet and built in cabinets in the basement. Our experience was very positive. The bid was competitive and we were glad there were no hidden costs along the way, everything was clear and accurate in the bid. We love the end results of these home improvement projects and we're thrilled that they were all completed within a week! Todd showed up exactly on time each day and was professional and attentive to our desires for these projects. Stacy is great to work with and is easy to get in contact with. Thank you Tk construction! We will recommend you and use your company for any remodeling projects that may be in our future!
Todd and Stacy were great to work with and we're extremely happy with our new finished basement. There were a lot of variables that went into the planning and construction of finishing our basement but they were a joy to work.
