We have used sundowner rv a few times now and Mark has been great to us! Once off site he was very responsive and very reasonable. Last time he came after hours on the weekend (same day) and really saved us and very reasonable price!! Was actually a life saver as it was plumbing related and we would have had no water. Stand up guy and always goes above and beyond! Thank you Mark!

He has always been very nice to us I use him on a regular basis,and he’s very good at what he does.

Pros: Mark Schaffer was quick to respond and able to get someone to us very quickly. Mark and his associate were both friendly and knowledgeable.
Cons: Be prepared to pay 2x the estimate after services rendered. A simple roof patch touchup with self level sealant (less than a tube used) went from ~$350 estimate for travel and labor to an ADDITIONAL $300 when Mike finished (not started) the work for ‘materials’. Since the work was done, we were pretty much obligated to pay this astronomical rate for a guy to put a ladder up and spend 20 minutes spot repairing.

Fabulous service. He was prompt worked very fast and Mark did a great job helping us get our one leveling jack up for dear had to do it manually, but Kept a positive attitude throughout it all. Definitely would recommend him to anyone who needs assistance with any RV repair.

Matt was prompt, professional, and knowledagble! He diagnosed and fixed our refrigeration issue on the spot. Couldn't ask for better service! Also answerd many questions we had about our newly purchased trailer. Definitely 5 star service!

Mark is very responsive and quickly found our no dc power problem. He’s personable and knows what he’s doing, as well as very reasonable. I highly recommend him for any rv problems.

Had issues with my toilet not flushing in my RV. Was recommended to Mark. He arrived on site pretty quickly. Mark was able to correct the issues and offered suggestions to prevent from this happening again and how to correct it myself. Mark did not stop until he was certain he had made the necessary repairs. While other repairmen only complete the repair, Mark involves the customer in the process so they understand what is being done. Hope I don’t encounter any future issues but if I do Mark will be the first person I call.

This is for anyone on the fence about picking an RV guy. Quick, very professional, and reasonably priced. Was also very knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

Was charged 205 which included a 165 diagnosis fee for an issue he wasn't able to diagnose... so not sure what I paid for? And then he wanted to charge me for tape he had to use to fix the holes that he cut in the underbelly because he didn't want to take the screws out... and then said he was pressed for time so why come out in the first place if you can't give your customers your full attention...? Yes water leaks are tricky but I let him know I wanted to find out what was causing the soft spots and I still don't know but he sure was happy to charge me for cutting holes in my camper with my knife outstanding what a joke?! Yeah I know there are some good reviews on here but if you have water problems don't call him. EDIT since I can't reply to his reply. Money wasn't the issue bud. You said yourself you didn't know what was causing the soft spots. And why would I inter a repair agreement when you couldn't find what was causing the issue in the first place and yes I wrote a review so others with 100k campers won't have their time and money waisted. But I don't have time to go back and forth just wanted to give everyone a fair warning don't waist your time.

Nothing worse than hitting the brakes and pedal hits the floor! Contacted Mark and he was there on the side of the highway with us in no time. He figured out everything needed and within 2 hours had us back on the road!! I have had others recommend him to us and I'm glad they did!!! Great fast service when you need it most. Not to mention he did this on his birthday!!! Thanks again for keeping us safe highly recommend!!!

Mark came to our RV to fix two a/c units that both went out on a 93° day. He was professional, knowledgeable, quick, and reasonable. I couldn't ask for a better experience!

I would give a 100-star rating if I could. Mark has been nothing but a blessing. I bought an RV in hopes of living in it while traveling for work. I was nervous about this huge change and finding someone to look at it and tell me everything I needed to know. Little did I know there is a ton to learn about RVs/campers. He came out and did a full inspection of the unit plus showed me how everything works. He found the A/C electrical incorrectly wired which is a fire hazard plus a leak that could lead to major water damage. I felt so much better knowing that I was going to be safe and knowledgeable about my RV. He is so friendly and never made me feel stupid for asking so many questions. He gave me a full breakdown list of repairs that were needed and also suggested maintenance for full time living. Thanks to Mark I was able to learn about my unit and save a ton of money. Kindness, professionalism, honesty, pricing, 10/10, 5 stars, 1000% would recommend to anyone with a RV/camper. I will not use anyone else but him.

Unfortunately there are not enough characters here to tell you how Mark tried to scam me.He did try to charge my insurance almost $800 for a $65 fix.He did offer to jerry-rig my system for $360.After 2 no shows....fortunately I fixed myself for $65 and 35 minutes of my time. Highly recommend finding someone else more worthy.

Very pleased with the service that Mark provided. He does what he says he will do. Will definitely use again.

Mark was awesome! We were having an issue with our Onan generator. Mark walked my husband through what to check and trouble shoot right over the phone. Turns out we didn't need a service call after all, but if we ever do in the future, we will absolutely be calling Mark! Thanks again!

Mark was AMAZING! He gave excellent next day service for us! My husband, Retired Army Col said “I would hire him for anything he does”…and we will! We are selling our RV tomorrow and needed service & a once over before we hand over keys and he said “let’s get it sold”. Highly recommend, he’s quite a drive from us, but came on a Saturday!

Mark, is excellent. Best RV service Ive ever had. It was cold, furnace wouldn’t work. Mark, was busy but because it was cold he arrived right away. Removed and cleaned/repaired reinstalled and had our heat on. Very grateful. He checked a couple other things before he left and recommended I replace the gas regulator of which I did. He had the part and gave it to me at cost. Great guy, very personable.

While traveling through Starke, Florida I discovered a leak on one of our valve stems on our class A motorhome. I contacted Mark at Sundowner RV Service and Transport and received first class service. He came out promptly to our location in a WalMart parking lot and took care of the issue in short order. We got back on the road with minimal fuss and delay. Mark knows his stuff. I highly recommend his services for your rv issues.

Mark is a really good RV tech. Our RV auto jacks would not retract he drove to Suwannee Music Campground and repaired it. I would recommend him to anyone that needs RV repairs.

We were just passing through Jacksonville heading to Florida and Mark was repairing an RV beside us: he was so friendly that I asked him if he could see from up top the neighbor's RV if we had a crack in the skylight
We left for a few hours and upon returning, there was a note :the crack had been sealed..Payment: " nothing...just write a review"
It feels good to encounter such generosity and professionalism all wrapped in one.
Plus now he is now trying to help us find a new cover... he is still in contact.

This was clearly the best service we have received for our RV repair. Mark was prompt, courteous, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. Not only did he repair our inoperative slide but he pointed out several other issues which need attention. He saved the day! A+ quality.
