We contracted with Axtra Hand , owner Thomas to install an AO Smith 50 gal electric water heater, Louisville attic ladder, interior Kwikset door knobs, kitchen base cabinets kick plate and shoe moulding, and install 1/2 " plywood decking on 2x4 joists in attic space over garage. They arrived on time with a crew of 3. The work on the inside of the house was done well as was the water heater installation and attic decking. Mike and Brandon were conscious and took pride in their work and worked well together. We paid around $ 3400 for the work that took them about 8 hours. This was after a military discount as I am retired US Army. I recommend researching your projects well before hiring this or any contractor so you can oversee their work and improve communication during the work and get the results you expect. I called Thomas and Mike back out a few days later to address and remedy an issue that was overlooked on the previous day . Dr ( Col ,ret) Hodges

Thomas and Izzi installed 3 bathroom faucets for me last week. They talked me through the whole process and answered every question I had trying to understand more during the installation. They were on time, quick with the installs, and very thorough with everything (including clean-up) and walking me through it all. I will definitely use Axtra again and gladly recommend them.

They came on to a seemingly routine ceiling fan install and tv mount.. ran in to a few problems with this old house structure and handled extremely professionally. Took the extra time needed to make it perfect and after a couple unexpected store runs.. they were done. End result is better than nothing excepted!! Exceptional service! I had LVP flooring installed and a walk-in shower. They were respectable, punctual, and professional. I was impressed with the communication throughout the project answering my questions and explaining all clearly. This was a very good experience and look forward to having the guys come out again on future projects.

Prompt, economically and efficient service! Company showed a great deal of determination to fix my problem. Stayed on site for extended time without additional charge to ensure no relapse of condition and situation solved. Worth noting: I didn’t have the part available for job. The Handy person took initiative to go purchase needed item, which was not part of the service request. Only reimbursement for item was required. Will definitely call upon them again if needed.

They were very prompt, kept me informed of everything that was going to happen, did professional work, cleaned up after they were done. I will use them again.

This is a number one very reliable professional company Thomas will do everything he can to make you happy and he keeps you informed from the beginning to the end. my mother is 92 and he just retiled her bathroom shower and replaced the flooring in her bedroom and she loves it. !!!

This company has gone above and beyond with a mold repair. I work from home so they could only enter the home at specific times and they were extremely accommodating, got rid of the mold and got everything done right and they left the house without a peep Joe and Robert were phenomenal!

Thomas did a great job with this entire project which included a new process to refinish countertops. The look went from speckled earth tones to marbling of mostly white with swirling of black/gray/teal. Absolutely beautiful and much less expensive than new countertops. He also removed the existing ceramic tile (off white) and added a beautiful easy to clean vinyl black/gray (looks like slate) floor. He also replaced 1/2 bath sink/vanity, mirror, toilet, and floor to a much needed update. Again, great job! Thomas really cares about his business and it shows in his work and professionalism. He is right in the ballpark with his estimates and everything is in writing. He communicates with you through the entire project. I already have Thomas lined up for more work so hurry and got on his “To Do” list before it fills up!

I had my shower floor replaced and they did an excellent job. They were very courteous and kept everything clean. If I have to have anything done in my bathroom again I will call them.

Using Axtra hand was so fast and simple, they came out immediately to check out the house for exterior painting, they worked so well with my schedule and pushed to make sure it was done when I needed it to be done. They did more than just paint, they pressure washed and sealed my windows at no extra cost. I definitely recommend using Axtra hand for your home projects. The service was absolutely EXCELLENT! I received a text and an email letting me know of my appointment time frame and date. They showed up exactly when they said they would. They also sent me a text letting me know they were in their way. They did their job quickly but with much care and the price was completely fair and reasonable. We were extremely delighted about the services provided. We had a tv hung, several mirrors and a painting, bidet sprayer, and a door fixed. They provided prompt and friendly service with lots of communication. They have multiple payment options if needed as well. We would absolutely use them again for anything we need around the house. They’re also A+ rated with the better business bureau so that is a plus too.

Axtra Hand just completed a really large job for my mom, she needed sub flooring replaced, new floors, new toilet pluming, new water heater and no job was too big for Thomas and his team! This is an amazing company! They came the same day and set up my new smart tv. I’m a senior citizen and it was stressful knowing that I couldn’t do it myself. They came and very quickly had it set up! They also taught me how to access my password on my cellphone. I had no idea you could do that. I don’t often sing praises but I highly recommend this company! They let me know when they were on their way and they showed up! Personable and highly professional! Wanted to be sure I was happy with the service they had provided! Yes and I’ll highly recommend them!!

I needed a kitchen sink replaced and these guys did a great job. New sink installed and new plumbing under the sink. Thomas and his crew were able to fix the leaks from the outdated plumbing and the price was very reasonable. Fast service and great communication. I highly recommend this company and I will be contacting them again in the near future for some other projects I have to complete around my house.
