Structural Repair of the Triad

My wife and I contacted Structural Repair for a second estimate after another company gave us one. We are so thankful we did. Even after paying a separate engineer, we still paid half of what the other company said. The office manager Julia Poole was a delight to deal with and the work crew was efficient and courteous. No hesitation here to call them again if any other repair work is needed!

I was looking to get foundation work done and found this company online. Based on the work they could perform, I reached out and talked to Julia. She was super nice and told me that it looks like they could help. I provided the letter from the structural engineer we hired to fix the areas of my home. I reached out on 10/9/2023, I received a message that Alan the structural guy could come out as he is meeting another client about 20 minutes away. I was very Impressed. Alan came out on time and explained everything including recommendations. The guy said he would get the quote tomorrow. As he was leaving he said his partner was in the hospital. I figured it would be a Delay. I first reached out to them on 10/9/2023 and I checked in about 2 weeks at a time. Between this time I would get emails like “ do you still need a quote?” or they are working on getting the quote out. They would sent emails that they will let everyone know you need a quote still and they are sorry for the delay. But it’s been excuse after excuses. something in the computer said I didn’t need a quote anymore and the service person on the phone didn’t know why. I have been super patient and even asked if there is anything more I could provide. We are going on almost 3 months of no quote and I’m done with this company. For me, it felt like I was disrespected an given the run around. I was hoping to work with them because they seemed down to earth but I’ll search for another company. At this point, I can only imagine what the issues would be if they were to perform the actual job.

I don’t normally write reviews, but I would like others to know what they could expect.

We contacted a couple of people about a small repair and are glad we chose this company based on interaction, and straightforwardness. I’m not saying the others were not good, I’m saying these folks were exceptional. Julia went above and beyond to schedule within our timeline. Thank you!

Very professional and friendly. After an initial consultation they/we decided to use a different (and better) structural design at no additional cost and it worked perfectly. Pleased, pleased, and pleased!

I was looking to get foundation work done on the house. They came out on time and explained everything and I liked them because they were upfront and weren’t trying to upsell about what needed to be done. The guy said he would get the quote tomorrow I called the day after the day he said I would receive the quote and I was told it was an emergency which is understandable things come up and people get busy. I waited almost 2 weeks and called again to which something in the computer said I didn’t need a quote anymore and the service person on the phone didn’t know why. I did get a response saying that they were sorry and the guy was getting my estimate but it has been a week now and still nothing. We are going on almost 4 weeks of no quote and I’m done with this company. For me, it felt like I was given the run around and felt disrespected as a potential client. Their customer service is good but their lack of response is horrible. I wanted to work with them because they seemed reasonable but I’ll find someone else

Wow what can we say me and my wife first saw one of the work trucks in King NC we wrote the phone number down and gave them a call.And we had someone come out a few days later and gave us a estimate that was in 2021. A year later we gave them a call back and one of the owners came out for another estimate for us “Alan”.and just like before we had our estimate. We secured a date for the work to begin and this group of knowledgeable men worked hard for 6 days. It’s nice also to see craftsmanship work done from Wayne,Tommy,Daniel,Garett,and Adam the other co owner when you have that type of dedication to detail you appreciate it thank you all for the hard work and what a deference the repairs and encapsulation has made folks if you are like me and my wife and want quality work for your home then we highly recommend structural repair of the triad. We had Structural Repair of the Triad repair sagging floor and spray for mold. They did a great job! On time, professional, and friendly. Even my wife was impressed with them.

These guys are the best! I hired a local company prior to Structural Repair to correct my sagging floors in our 1929 home. They said they could not get into the spaces to fix one bed room and could not access it to put down a vapor barrier. Structural Repair of the Triad removed the other companies terrible work and went above and beyond my expectations! They corrected three floors and a staircase, put down some plastic sheeting that the other company could not get to. Their quality of work is unmatched. Don't cheap out and have to do it again. Thanks to the amazing crew!

Water damage and structural issues were found at our home inspection and Structural Repair of the Triad was recommended to us. They highly exceeded our expectations! They were on time, professional, personable, and it was such a good value for the amount of work they did! They dug up drains in our front yard, replaced them, and then put new pine straw down so you never even knew they were there! They repaired some brick on our exterior and Adam, the crew manager, was so thorough in finding brick to match our current brick. They also added support straps to our basement walls. It was a lot of work for two days and you can tell they really take pride in what they do. If we ever need any additional work done we won’t hesitate to call and would recommend to anyone!

After a home inspector reported foundation issues in our crawl space, an engineer recommended we repair two piers and install two new ones. Thankfully, he suggested Structural Repair of the Triad to do the work. They responded to my inquiry quickly, made important additional recommendations, provided a very clear quotation, and then executed the project promptly, completely, neatly and on budget.
The work also involved installing sump pumps, correcting drainage issues, and resealing our encapsulated crawl space — all well done.
Ours was an excellent experience in every regard. SRT is an organization of very competent and thoroughly pleasant people. I am pleased to highly commend this team.

The job took over a week to complete, but during that time they did the work every day with no disruption to my daily routine. Over the last few years, we've noticed some standing water and the walls of our basement developing water stains from where water was seeping in in a few places. Our basement problems weren't as severe as some, but we wanted to make sure it didn't become a bigger problem. Enter Structural Repair of the Triad.
Everyone I interacted with was friendly and professional. Julia is an absolute pleasure. When Jacob gave me the initial quote, I felt he was upfront and honest about costs and what could or should be done. Adam and his crew were not only efficient, but also braved Hurricane Zeta's fallen trees in an attempt to remedy our dehumidifier vibrations (they had to come back later).
The services provided included enclosing the back side of our basement, adding a drain around the perimeter of the basement with a pump and dehumidifier, and landscaping to divert water away from the house (see attached pictures). It took roughly 4 days to complete the drain install (There was a lot of jackhammering!) and a matter of hours to complete the excavation (I left for a few hours before they arrived, and it was done when I returned!). Our basement actually ended up being cleaner after they left than before they began! It not only looks great, but I feel better knowing that our foundation isn't being negatively impacted by the water seepage.
As a final note, if you're looking for the cheapest out there, that's not this company. However, they take pride in their work and will do what they need to do to make sure their customers are satisfied. I, for one, am completely satisfied with their work and can confidently recommend their services to others as well!

Chris, Adam and the whole Structural Repair team did great work for us - we had a difficult job that entailed the concrete floor of our screened-in porch which had begun to crumble with visible cracks in places that always had me on edge anytime we went out on the porch. Prior homeowners had tried to mitigate things with a single beam and a couple ancient jacks running down one side alone - but it was anything but stable long-term!

Chris put us in touch with Summey Engineering, who drew up a plan to support the floor with steel beams, jack posts and a newly-poured concrete footing. Once we had the plan and steel on site, Chris' team went to work and had our porch job done in a matter of days. We are now enjoying the porch with no worries whatsoever about the thing caving in on us! I even joked about the area under the porch becoming our new "tornado shelter" because at this point it might actually be the most structurally-sound area of the entire house?!? Highly recommend these guys if you need good work done right.
