We contracted with Strong Shield to remove the exterior cedar siding from our home and replace with hardee board siding. As they removed siding, they discovered water damaged sheathing. They replaced the sheathing and applied the hardee board in a very professional manner. I was very impressed with their workmanship and their employees were very conscientious. I highly recommend them for their harder board replacements as well as their replacement gutter work.

They do great work, first and foremost! We appreciate all of the work that they did as our job was non-standard. We have a three story condo complex on St. Mary St. in New Orleans which has very little room between buildings. This wall needed to have the original siding stripped off and replaced with hardi-plank siding, along with OSB sheathing. In addition, this wall had all of the utility boxes attached to it. As such, they coordinated with an electrician, Entergy and city inspector to shut down the power, get electric boxes pulled, have inspected, put boxes back and have the power turned on, which was no small effort. The ONLY issue I had with these guys was the lack of timely communication and the fact that it took nearly a year to get the job done. Part of the delays could be attributed to COVID and city delays. I wanted to get additional quotes to give them additional business but I never got the extra quotes, which I had asked for over two months. I don't know if they just have too much business or what the situation is but the communication was not great. There were some things not cleaned up on the job site and which required repeated calls to get done. These are all minor details but are part of the customer experience.

Strong Shield replaced the old siding on a renovation job I am running, as well as the windows and gutters, then painted thier work to perfection. The work was fast, professional and clean. Everyone involved was helpful and the price was right. I will be using them again for sure.
