Called with a question or two hoping he'd answer without trying to charge...he was incredibly open with information, and not pushy at all with offering services. I had originally planned to try it myself, but am now going to request his services. Will update if/when that happens.
UPDATE: we ended up tackling it ourselves, and thanks to the info he provided I think we've got the problem solved.

We called other companies on Kenai Peninsula and NO one called us back or even replied to our email and voicemail requests. But Jay did, and he did it very professionally and very immediately we received the best results.

Very very knowledgeable. Infestation of mice at a rental I manage. Prompt and educational service. Explanation of why mice were there. Recommend people who have 1 mouse call him instead of using retail products. 72 hours and zero mice! Didn't know pheromone trails over years can all of a sudden become infestation; more than 30! I have switched from other pest service companies because of his expertise. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing experience! We were struggling with a total infestation that was making my husband and I feel hopeless. Jay was an absolute angel in how he brought his expertise (and kindness!) to help us identify practical solutions to fix the issue once and for all. Jason was extremely responsive when I called for a quote about a clover mite infestation at my house. He was upfront about his schedule (mosquito yard treatments time-of-year) and adhered to the time that he had quoted me for showing up to perform the inspection, and he was very friendly and informative. Jason called to say when he was about five minutes out, too, from arriving at my house. I appreciate the knowledge and recommendations he gave over the phone and while he was making the inspection. He gave me ideas for preventative measures next spring as I seem to be the one with the 'lucky' house in my neighborhood with these clover mites.

From the moment Jay called me back I knew his services were for me!! We had a pretty good case of carpenter ants even up in the walls which I would never have known! He explained to me what their signs look like what I needed to do after he sprayed and before he sprayed! He made me feel very comfortable got in did the job, and was out within the hour! Incredibly kind, informative, and down to earth. I called about a squirrel situation and was given Incredibly helpful (FREE) guidance about what to try and do. Had an amazing experience with Jay, he was able to offer me thorough advice for free over the phone to help with a house mice issue. Because I live in Seward the price for extermination can be high, so he offered me solutions at no cost. I definitely recommend!

Jason was great! He came to our house and took care of the carpenter ants. Also, found out we had bats in our attic. Was very knowledgeable & explained how the carpenter ants worked. Also told how we would have to wait until fall to address the bats.Was very knowledgeable & explained I highly recommend for any pest problem you might have.

I called around to Pest Control companies across the peninsula, and in Anchorage. I went with strategical ecological solutions, because Jay seemed incredibly knowledgeable about carpenter ants.

Not only did he fit us into a busy schedule, but he took the time to truly understand our infestation, and he educated us on ways to mitigate the problem.

I was nervous to spray around our house because we have animals and kids, but Jay helped us understand how to keep them safe.

After receiving the bill, I was pleasantly surprised how reasonable his rate was. Other companies quoted me much higher, and we have a pretty difficult footprint to spray.

We were putting a new roof on and discovered bat droppings. I knew we had seen bats but didn’t know if we had a major problem or not. Jay came out on short notice and was super knowledgeable about bats (and critters in general). He explained our issue and made some recommendations to take care of the problem. Best of all he said we didn’t have a huge problem, he was straight up honest and saved us a bundle!

My plant starts are ready to go into the ground but my garden space is overrun with voles. With faint hope I messaged SES Soldotna and got a call back with lots of info on how to begin the process to reclaim my ground. Not a fast fix, but Jay was very knowledgable and offered links to get some items to isolate the garden so our plan wouldn't include erradicating the varmints from all of Soldotna.
