StraightLine Exteriors - Lake Oswego, OR

I used StraightLine for new HardiePlank siding and paint for my house. This is my first experience replacing siding.

Tim was my point of contact throughout the project. Of all the contractors who came out to bid for the job, this was not the lowest price option, but seemed like the best combination of good price for the level of customer service, so I chose them. StraightLine had some helpful guides and was able to provide a rendering before we chose our paint colors Although them offering the rendering was a big part of our decision making, it ended up not actually being that helpful in the end for us. The siding team completed the work in about 5 or 6 days, right on schedule. We had some slight inconveniences like debris in our koi ponds and there was one section of the siding that we wish had been brought up to us as a question during the siding installation process vs. after the fact, but overall think that the team did a great job. They produce a thorough report afterwards with pictures included. The painting team Andrey and his brother were very detail oriented and did a great job, painting the house over 3 days (including a half day during a heat wave). Between the initial contract signing and the final paint completion was probably 3 or 4 months, with the actual work being completed over the course of 2 weeks spread out between end of April / early May and early July. Overall, it was a pretty great experience and I would recommend this team for such a big project!

Straightline did a lovely refresh of our exterior. We had some crumbling window frames, and a paint job that was showing its age. Finally we had a large fence perimeter that needed restaining.

We're very happy with the final result, it all looks great.

Some things we really liked:
* clear pricing
* The project manager's willingness and responsiveness to showing us different virtual renderings of our house in possible new colors, even when we were changing our minds (Thanks, Tim!)
* how quick it all was
* the painting crew was more careful with our plants against the fence that was being stained than we thought possible. They got the fence done thoroughly and managed to do it without really damaging any of them. Super impressed, thanks to Andrey, the painting foreman. He's awesome.

Overall, very happy. We would definitely use them again.

Although I was not the person responsible for choosing this group, I live in the residence they were responsible for re-roofing, re-siding and painting. Overall, an outstanding experience. The teams are efficient, pleasant, responsive and deliver outstanding work. Special shoutout to Tim, who is superb at his job; his coordination of multiple moving targets, prompt responses, kindness and truly outstanding communication skills are a step above. Highly recommend!
