My basement needed finishing, so I hired the Remodeling & Services. Their work was incredible. Because we found it difficult to visualise the space, we put our trust in their design. It used to be a regular unfinished basement filled to the brim with trash we'd accumulated over the years. Today, our family spends the majority of the day in this incredible area! They were excellent, and the job was of the finest quality.

The entire project from start to finish went wonderfully, which I'm sure not as many people can say about their remodeling projects. They were great about listening to what I wanted and altering the plans when needed."

Called for estimate on a small job and was told they were completely booked for the next year and would think about maybe using me as a filler job. Told me they would get back to me if they would accept my request . Never heard from them again. I'm sure they do a good job but if they treat customers like this I would never us or recommend their services to anyone! Advice: STAY AWAY!!

Steve went above and beyond all that I had imagined would be done- I am so thankful that my sister gave me this company name! I’m so appreciative of Steve's “jack of all trades” skill, to be able to come for one problem, then revamp plan and go another way without missing a step nor complaining, then I added more projects to his list along the way. What a blessing Steve's Home Services is for us! He has helped us with keeping our old Victorian home with 8 units going. He's repaired leaking boiler pipes and radiators, fixed old knob and tube wiring, remodeled units, done cosmetic jobs like painting, installed a complete outside drainage system to circumvent water around the house rather than into the basement, cement work, cleared trees and vegetation, maintained landscapes, and many other projects for so many years that all I can say is, 'If I have any kind of problem whatsoever with our apartments... Steve can fix it.'
I’m truly thankful too for his generosity in charges, always very reasonable and affordable- I just can’t thank them enough! I feel very fortunate to have Steve's Home Services as our maintenance and repair team.

Messy, Incomplete work. Multiple scheduling problems. We’ve had work done on windows and now a tub faucet. Both tasks had to be rescheduled multiple times with little to no communication. Both times one of their employees *.supposedly* showed up (well outside of the agreed upon time frame) rang the doorbell and left a note saying he’d missed us. Our doorbell is loud - dude never rang it.

Mismatched materials used, messy end result which has required additional work (from others) to fully complete the job.

Most recently, a 3 component system was installed in our tub where a single handle used to be (without asking our preference). Parts missing, not fully sealed, steady leak still present (wasn’t noticed because water was not turned on before Steve left). I was told the job would take an hour ... it actually took over 4 hours (after he showed up 30 minutes late).

Really unimpressed. Look elsewhere.

Great service, quality work, friendly staff, I recommend this company to anyone who has home improvement projects!! Good quality work and affordable! This company really does anything and everything you need done around your house, there is nothing they can't do!

Hired Steve's home services to enclose and finish my back deck. The work was excellent. The people were courteous and professional. They kept me informed and were always on schedule. I would definitely use Steve's again.

We had high hopes for SHS, but we're having to redo quite a lot of the job they recently did on a new kitchen. This "fix" includes rehanging wall cabinets that weren't screwed in correctly or adequately, retaping edges with the correct bead or tape, fixing edges of doorway and the window cutout that aren't square, fixing ten badly cut outlets, remudding, sanding, etc. Maybe they should stick with gutters, fences, and chicken houses and leave the kitchens to those with more experience.Please note that one of the most positive reviews on this website was written by Steve himself! How can one guarantee work when one lacks the expertise to do the job well?

Steve (owner) & Ryan of Steve's Home Services came to my rental home to tackle a list of 11 items I'd provided. They did everything from: remounting a bathtub splash guard, snaking a slow draining sink, troubleshooting 2 non-working lights & outlet that turned out to be wired backwards & required total rewiring inside the wall, fixing a front gate, securing a loose metal handrail, to jacking up a dangerously sagging carport roof & resupporting with large sunken beams. These guys were AMAZING, and stayed well past dark to get the job finished. Great attitudes, hardworking, took the time to talk & listen to my concerns. I'm going to recommend them to my Mother (not to mention anyone else who needs work done)! Oh...and they said they do remodeling -- if only I owned my own home!

I hired Steve to do a small job in my downtown Seattle condo. He came today and did that one and two more. Very nice to have around. Efficient and great at what he does. He fixed an interior door that has been broken and bugging me for 5 years. I was ready to yank it and replace it with a curtain. I asked him to look at it and the next thing I knew, he'd fixed it! I'm starting now on my Steve list of all the other things that need done around here. Great find. If you need something fixed, call Steve. Really.
