Stapleton Roofing

We researched and interviewed several roofing companies to do a full roof replacement on our Scottsdale home and ended up hiring Stapleton Roofing. While their price was not the lowest, nor the highest, we were initially impressed with their estimator Jim (very responsive, excellent follow-up, knowledgeable and no BS). The team arrived on the day they said they would, worked much longer hours than we expected AND cleaned up so meticulously (daily), you would never know we were having work done! Justin, their field superintendent worked tirelessly to help us find a tile to match the discontinued tile on our roof and did an on-site inspection every day while the work was being done. Justin also did a great job coordinating with Arizona Home Daylight during the installation of Solar Tubes. Both Jim and Justin quickly responded to any texts we sent with questions (hard to find these days). I don't know the names of the Stapleton guys who actually installed the roofing materials...but you all were absolutely amazing! We highly recommend Stapleton Roofing!

No one ever looks forward to replacing their roof but Stapleton Roofing has made this experience easy and issue free. I have a large tile roof with solar and a foam patio roof. They worked around our schedule with the solar company and seamlessly came in as soon as the panels were removed. Then after the work was completed came back during the reinstallation to verify that the solar company was using the correct products and would not have any issues with the integrity of the new roof.

Pat, Justin and their crew were very courteous and conscientious with knowing we have dogs and making sure to clean up all debris around the house and pool. They also painted the new trim to color match the house. Plus the whole project was completed in less than a week. I highly recommend for any roofing work that you need done.

Stapleton Roofing installed a new foam roof on our home in May 2023. They said they would strip our old flat roof system off down to the deck, and did exactly that. The old roof had rolled roofing, gravel, felt and a roofing mastic. They stripped it to bare wood - huge effort. The new foam roof looks fantastic. They also brought in a carpenter to replace the eves, and the workmanship was great. Overall, they did a great job.

I had a problematic experience for a few months when superintendent Jerry was around. Justin came in and took his place and all of a sudden all of my worries were put to rest. They came out and did a total re-coat of my roof that had been coated a few years back. Good job Justin thank you so much. You went way above and beyond the call of duty.

Stapleton roofing is awesome! The first time I talked to Pat Stapleton, he arranged to come out the very next day. He then got me on the books right away, and the head guy named Jerry, was amazing! He was just as good with communication as Pat. He answered every text and every call right away. The crew was outstanding! They were very friendly and caring! They put in 13 hour days and were happily doing an incredible job. Each day they left everything clean! They replaced my entire tile roof were so skillful and professional. Thank you to all of you!!! Great, friendly professional service. They re-roofed my tile roof and back patio cover. They were able to save me a ton of money by reusing the majority of my old tiles then they matched in new tiles where needed. Everything under the tiles was all new materials. I had gotten a few other quotes from other roofers and they were so much more expensive and they didn't provide me with such a great cost saving solution. What a fabulous company.

I have storm damage to my roof and it’s been this way since July 2021. I found this company after I had a bad experience with RMP construction. This company had better ratings and a good rating on BBB. So far my work has been rescheduled week after week with little to no notice. I had to reschedule other contractors to do inside work waiting on these guys. We gave them the benefit of the doubt that they were just backed up and short staff. The day we had them in contract to show up, they didn’t. We weren’t given a call or heads up. The carpenter showed up and was clueless to why they weren’t here.. There is no communication to their employees and to the customer. The owner has informed us they are willing to let us out of our contract. The consistent no show is a breach of contract. I even question the quality of work they would do if they are willing to just walk away from my business. Due to the time we have already spent with this company we just want the work done in a timely manner like we agreed. They shouldn’t be scheduling any additional work if they don’t have the man power. I will post an update to this and see if they follow through as well as the quality of work if completed.

We ordered a service appointment, our sky light was leaking when it would rain. The guy came to our house and said he was going to check the office to see if we were covered with our warranty. He never came back and we weren’t given a call back. Week’s later we received a call that someone was going to come by to check it out. The guys name is Justin. He made up for all the issues we had. He was efficient and helpful. He was able to fix our issue and test it out with the water holes to assure there wasn’t any leaks. Justin gave us his card and told us if we had any problems to ask for him. He asked permission if he could leave the company’s sign in our yard, we said absolutely. We appreciate the great customer service and Thank you for helping us out. Updated our star review!

I recently purchased a home and the previous owner used Stapleton to install a new roof in 2016. The roof had a warranty, and I started seeing some moisture in one of the bedrooms so I called them out to look at it. Unfortunately the warranty hadn't been transferred properly, they require an inspection to ensure that nothing had been done on the roof that might effect the warranty before they transfer to the new owner. Pat was super helpful and took a look at the roof, turned out I had a stucco crack around one of my scuppers. The rest of the roof looks great, hadn't had a chance to see it myself until now, much better than the roof on my previous flat roof home. He transferred the warranty and was very helpful, I'd recommend you give Stapleton a call if you need help with your roof.

Pat arrived promptly on time, a few minutes early truth be told. He could not have been more helpful and professional. He climbed on my roof and said almost immediately, "Want to save a bunch of money?" He then proceeded to point out that I simply needed to clean out some accumulated debris that had collected in area that drains off my roof. While on my roof he also reattached a couple of corner tiles that had fallen off during the recent storms. I'm not sure I ever had a more honest and helpful contractor at least well within recent memory. While I hope I never need their services, if the time ever comes again, I will begin and end my search for a roofing contractor with Pat Stapleton. Highly recommend!!!

Stapleton replaced our roof of the church. They did a fantastic job. They were prompt, easy to work with and did above and beyond. We would highly recommend this company for roof repairs or roof replacement.

If you are looking to have your roof serviced or, in my case, replaced then look no further than Stapleton Roofing. After interviewing 4 different roof contractors, I was blown away by what was offered from Stapleton. But before you pass judgement that I might not be qualified, here is my story.
Everyone in Phoenix remembers the hail storm of 2010 and the damage it left in its wake. We did the wrong thing and hired a company based on price alone - HUGE mistake. I had more leaks with that roof done by an inferior company.
Additionally, I have a neighbor with a birdseed block who feeds birds that like to roost on MY roof. Those birds poked holes throughout my roof, too. You can't pick your neighbors but you can pick roofing companies with solutions for the problems.
After 4 kitchen pans for drips, a huge hole in the ceiling in our master bedroom to a CRAZY leak and bird holes everywhere, I did the search.
It is rare to find good trades and even more rare to find ethical trades. Stapleton actually listened to my issues and did not give me a standard answer that the other roof contractors provided. And they did everything they said they would do.
I felt the contract was a good value but what I learned is you NEVER want to take shortcuts with a roof - I learned that the hard way.
In summary, Stapleton Roofing is awesome and you'll like the results.

I was impressed with them in every aspect. They were fair priced, on time and did a great job! My house looks great with its new roof from Stapleton.

I had called Stapleton roofing for a roof replacement. They sent out a kid that couldn't be older than 21 years old. He hardly knew what he was talking about or doing even with me pointing him to all the areas of the roof that needed extra attention. I waited a whole week to get a proposal and nothing. I then called them back and they had concerns because I had a flat roof. Mind you I don't need any work done to my flat at all. I only need my shingles to be replaced. The comment they made was they would need to redo my flat roof as well if they wanted me to do the shingles. Which makes no sense. And then instead of giving me a proposal anyways they stated I was just going to be over 12k I didn't provide any back up to what they were talking about. There's no way my roof would cost that much. and even if it did they didn't even take the time to write up an appropriate proposal. If you don't want to do the job just say that.

Owners are honest and easy to communicate with. Employees worked all day every day and were always on time and courteous. The job site was cleaned up at the end of each day and I was then informed of the work to be completed the following day. I received everything that was contracted for and then some. Excellent roofing company, best in the valley!

They blocked my driveway with there trailer for a week. There was a rain delay on there ability to roof so they left there trailer in my driveway for 5 days, moving it on the 5th day. I had a vehical parked on the side of there trailer because I could not access my driveway. While they were roofing they damaged that vehicals paint. Then they blamed it on the weather and will not take responsibility. In addition the rain rails/flashing they removed were bent from the removal process and they refused them. It looks terrible and it will probably leak. I do not recommend this company.

In response to the comment below: If you are the owner or one of them, I suggest you speak with James. He is aware of the issues I have had and he said he spoke with the owner and the owner was not interested in the damage to my vehicle. And if you are the owner I suggest you contact me and I will show you the security footage of shingles hitting my vehical. I will also so you the securaty footage of me singing the check. I'm very satisfied with the way that Stapleton Roofing addressed the replacement of my roof. They were very professional and very timely, even though my shingles had to be ordered. Even though they weren't the least expensive, the finished job was worth the money spent. I would highly recommend them.

After roof damage from monsoons, Brian came out right away to give me an estimate, then tarped the roof (during another rain storm). They were competitively price and quick to respond. My roof was completed from start to finish in two days. Fantastic job and clean up. Have already recommended them to neighbors.

I am so comforted after my experience with Stapleton Roofing. I had them redo my flat roof home in Scottsdale. I live in California so I get particularly nervous dealing with contractors out of state. They however were very responsive, fair priced, most most importantly, did extremely high quality work. This particular house means a lot to me, and I will be using them for ongoing maintenance on that roof to help me sleep better!

I had leak issue with my roof and had no idea that all the wood underneath the tiles was rotted. It was a mess.
