Sprague contacted me in advance to let me know when the work would begin. The team of workers arrived on time and completed the work as agreed. The work area was left clean. Phill and his team from Sprague were fantastic. At the start of this journey I was dreading dealing with the insurance company and their "non-biased" adjuster. First call was to Sprague to have them come out and give an estimate. Phill came out took a look at the roof and put together a quote. He then asked me to let him know when the adjuster would be out so he could advocate for me with the insurance company. After Phil and the adjuster talked on the roof my claim was accepted by the insurance company, and within a week a new roof and gutters were put on. Everyone at Sprague roofing was nothing but an absolute joy to deal and interact with, professional and kind doesn't begin to describe them. I will only have roofing and siding done with Sprague.

After our dog had destroyed about 100 SQ ft of siding on the back of our house, we were in a real bind with colder weather moving in. I took a picture and a piece of our old siding down to Sprague and talked to Clay about our situation on a Monday. He called me back on Wednesday and said he had a crew available on Friday. They did an incredible job in helping us get our house sealed up before the cold weather hit! We are so thankful for them helping us out when we were in a real pinch! We will definitely be using them again and highly recommend them!

In early May 2024 we had a windstorm that did a lot of damage to the roof of our house. After contacting my insurance and doing short term repair work, I called Sprague Roofing and in 24 hours Gavin showed up to provide an estimate and a commitment to help us navigate the insurance process.

Needless to say, the estimate to do the work was very reasonable and the help with providing documentation to our insurance company was unbelievable. Either Gavin or a member of his team made 4 separate visits to help gather documentation and ultimately, we provided the necessary information to get the claim approved.

Once approved we scheduled the roof replacement, and the best part is that they had an opening in their schedule and the work was completed 10-days before scheduled and the cost even with all of the insurance BS was exactly what I had been quoted upfront.

Bottom line. Sprague Roofing is honest, efficient, and with you from start to finish. If I ever have to replace another roof the phone at Sprague will ring and they will do the work no questions asked, at least on this end.

Best company to work with. I cannot say enough about Sprague and all the people that work there. All the Sprague team provided professional and great work. They helped with the insurance process all the way through. Fixed issues that were were unexpected and the efficiency and dedication of the crew was amazing.

From start to finish Sprague Roofing was dedicated to providing top notch service. From the bid to standing with me during the claims process they were always right there.

We had a couple of minor issues with our roof/gutter. It’s been frustrating because we’ve had a hard time finding a contractor who would actually look into these issues and help us fix them. Lewis with Sprague was amazing! He was very knowledgeable, answered all of our questions, and fixed our issues skillfully and efficiently.

Excellent service!! Pleased with pricing. My father is 80+ years old and can be difficult to deal with sometimes. Lewis was outstanding and handled everything like a pro!!

Bad and shady business practices. They are nice in the beginning, with proposal, estimate and contract that i gladly signed off on. The issue is with this company that does the work, then adds $9,210 dollars worth of extra charges.. roof steepness, building permit, increase of price of shingles (after the bid contract) was signed. All of this extra stuff should have been in the original bid and submitted to the insurance co. Not to mention the fact that they put in sky lights that were inferior and not like the original ones. (and skylights are still not working).

Its not the money that bothers me the most, its the business practices and dishonest approach they take.

After weeks of disputing, im exhausted and just plane mad, im finally caving in and payment sent in full to these dishonest group of individuals that wont budge and wont work with you at all.

Stay away, don't fall for the fakeness.

I had a leaking roof problem and called Sprague roofing in a panic. They immediately sent a person to my house and fixed the problem. He returned to do a total roof inspection, including pictures and took care of all my concerns. These folks are TOP NOTCH!

Sprague Roofing replaced my roof 8-21-23 and they were excellent. The crew worked until it was completed then cleaned up my yard and drive with a magnet roller to pick up any nails. The work was done beautifully and without any incident. I complemented the workers for their excellent work and for staying late to complete the job. Sprague Roofing also worked with my Insurance company to secure additional funds. They will also be replacing my Garage Doors and when finished will send
their invoice to my Insurance Company detailing the work accomplished. This final step is most important so that my Insurance company will know that the work was done. I had one problem after another with Sprague Roofing. They broke a skylight in my bathroom and not one person came in to tell me about it. I was home each time they came out here. My adult grandkids were staying with me and they told me as soon as they heard the noise of the skylight breaking.They put a lot of silicone on it and the silicone leaked through the broken skylight onto my bathroom floor. I waited until they getting ready to drive away and still not one employee came to my door to talk about the broken skylight. I had triplepain windows installed in my house already that were made for high winds and extreme weather. The windows they put in my house were a low rating window not made for high winds or extreme cold temperatures. The wind would go rate through the windows. I could see daylight were the seals did not touch and the window frames were way off from being square. The person working on the windows that Sprague Roofing had contacted to do the work would constantly have to leave and go to other jobs that he had scheduled at the same time that he was supposed to be working on my place. I had other companies come out and was shown what was wrong and why the windows would never work. I had the new owner out several times and he kept putting the blame on the old owner who had just retired. He then told me that I was just being a pain in the butt and that all windows leak. I have to keep towels by the windows. I have hired another company to finish the job with quality materials and better workmanship. I had people show up that said that they were sent out from Sprague Roofing to do the work on my house. I would check with Sprague Roofing and they would tell me oh yeah we sending out a general contractor to work on my house. I will never recommend this company to anyone and I will never hire them again.

Gavin with Sprague is great, and he is an honest guy. The finish carpenters that replaced all our window and door trim is what I was very disappointed in. They knew I worked from home. When they were at my house only 20-30 min at a time they were cussing and laughing about the fact of the damaged window trim removal and said who cares if we break or dent the window let's get it done and that is the PG version for this review. They tried to match window trim to the undamged areas but were no longer available. As a result, they ended up replacing all trim to match but never worked with our insurance for those increased costs. They were also supposed to reset a metal roof panel that came loose and just made it worse. The other great part was the gutter installation, which was subcontracted out. I wish I got their business name because I would give them major kudos. Come time to pay... we got an insurance check that had been sitting in our bank account for a while, so we wrote a personal check. Office ladies were very hesitant and rude and did not want to accept the personal check. It was pretty offsetting when we were just paying our bill.

Phil at Sprague Roofing went above and beyond to help my father with his insurance approval so that his house sale could go through pending a new roof. Phil was proactive, responsive, friendly and extremely helpful helping us through the process after our first insurance claim was erroneously denied. My father lives with me out of state now, so Phil worked with our realtor (and buyer as well) to make the whole process as smooth as possible from his end. He is someone you'd be lucky to work with for any service Sprague provides. Cannot thank him enough!

When we contacted Sprague Roofing they were prompt at returning our call. They have great customer service. The team that did our roof was outstanding and did a great job and very efficient. They gave us a great discount as well as a Military discount. We would highly recommend them.

These guys were so great to work with! Gavin got back to me right away after my first initial call and was at my house in no time to see what needed to be done and when meeting him in person, he was so friendly and took his time to look at everything and in just a matter of days he had a quote for me. I appreciated his honesty but also his kindness. He knew I was on a budget and was willing to work with me on that, and I really appreciated that even though they weren't going to make a lot of money off of my little garage roof, I still felt that my little project was just as important as a much bigger one would be. It was so easy to work with Gavin and he always got back to my messages right away which was so nice. When the guys were working on my roof, he was there every day checking on their work and making sure things were going smoothly and that I was happy with how it was turning out. The workers came at dawn and worked until dark. They picked up debris every evening. When they were done, everything was picked up and furniture put back. Very impressed. Great experience.

We were faced with some difficult decisions in replacing our roof and Gavin was extremely helpful and patient in assisting us with those decisions. The end result was amazing and beautiful and we have received numerous compliments. Sprague performed all the work professionally and in a timely manner and were very easy and nice to work with. When the crew came to install, I was able to share a concern with the lead installer. That concern was addressed during installation. After having my roof replaced due to a summer storm I was glad that I had chosen Sprague Roofing to handle not only the repairs but also be the liaison with the Insurance company. Sprague Roofing's supervision made sure the installation went well and the crew doing the work was efficient and left us with a excellent finished product. Also their support staff aka Katie Gauslow went beyond and dealt with my insurance company when they were not going to pay a portion of the job due to a technicality, she kept after them by digging up information to support the claim they were not going to pay and was able to get the claim paid.

When my boyfriend and I purchased our home, we needed a new roof due to hail damage that was found in our inspection. The previous homeowner chose Sprague Roofing. Everything looked great from the surface until we started to repair a spot on our carport. After opening up the facia board on the corner of the carport, we noticed there was lots of water damage, mold, and rotting wood. No these things were not due to the roofing job, but they replaced the plywood from the having a hold in the car port all of the boards were exposed showing the rotting wood. The roof was not attached to my house from the roofers putting nails in rotting wood. I tried to reach out to the owner on October 13, 2019, but never got a response back. I am very unimpressed with the issues that should of been addressed before I purchased the home. I was going to have Sprague Roofing do our roof after the storm August of 2019, but I do not trust them or the work they do.

Since I live about 50 miles from Billings, I had a lot of problems finding a roofing company that was willing to replace the roof on my house and garage. I contacted Sprague and Gavin emailed me back immediately and helped arrange the job. Ricky and his crew were professional, polite and left the jobsite immaculate every day. The new roofs look amazing and I highly recommend them for your roofing needs.

We have been very pleased with the customer service and quality of work we received from Sprague Construction Roofing. We have utilized them on multiple occasions for hail damage and other normal wear and tear repairs of the roof, siding, windows, gutters and more. He followed up with us and the subcontractors to make sure the work was done to our specifications. Pros: Decent communication and coordination with initial work. I had them coming during a time when the whole town was replacing a roof, and so I was impressed with the initial scheduling and communication.
-Some initial mistakes made by the gutter crew were handled professionally and made right. While frustrating, I appreciated the prompt follow up by Sprague with the subcontractors they were using.

Cons: - I had roofing nails ALL over my deck, yard, driveway, and walkway. Even after hours of picking them up, we would find them randomly by stepping or driving on one!
-One of the "valleys" in our roof looks horrible - it was pulling up, and their solution was to pump a bunch of silicone or something into the gap.
-The biggest frustration has been our covered deck. It leaked horribly; we had them come out several times, and finally one of the guys admitted it was installed incorrectly to begin. He fixed it (he was the first guy who actually appeared to do work while there), but it STILL leaks. We've called and been told ice damming is occurring and is not covered under warranty, even though we never had this issue with our last roof (even during heavy snowfall). The response we have received is "we've never had winters like this." They are washing their hands of us, and our new great leaking roof is something we just have to live with. It has ruined our deck furniture and is causing damage to our deck. Very frustrating.

Exceptional coordination of services between roofers, gutter providers, painter, window installer and me from my Sprague contact Gavin. I was copied on his emails which all went out promptly.

We developed a crisis with a wall as a gas fireplace was being installed. We telephoned our previous contact at Sprague. Although we live 15 miles out of Billings, he was here within two hours. He assessed the problem, outlined a repair plan and had it underway the next morning. Shortly thereafter we sustained flood damage from the Clark's Fork of the Yellowstone. Once again Sprague agreed to help us,although they had many more clients with much more severe flood damage. During these repair tasks, our prime contact at Sprague kept in regular communication with us. The interior and exterior workmen were skilled, polite and tidy. They cleaned thoroughly at the close of each work day. We appreciate the skills the Spague staff had, their good manners and their empathy with our problems.

Sprague delivered as promised, and stayed within budget. Minor issues with the gutter replacement were satisfactorily resolved, and overall I have been bragging about the good job by Sprague. The first crew that Sprague had working to re-roof my house on Day 1 actually did a nice job. Day 2, 3, & 4: for an unknown reason they replaced that first crew with different crew. This crew took 1-2 hour breaks, urinated in my bushes, slept on my lawn, and their work was horrendous. Sprague said they fired them after my job was finished. Gary Cathey said they would tear the roof off and re-roof it if necessary to make it right. Ha ha ha very funny! I wound up with more shiners than I could count. I'd complain and they'd send someone over (usually while I was gone). They replaced a few shingles and covered a few of the shiners with Mastic and then left. Called again and they came and replaced some more shingles but left numerous shiners in place. Calls and emails then were mostly unanswered. Finally, Jack Sprague was doing follow up visits to their jobs in the neighborhood and he asked if I was happy with the roof. So they came again and replaced more shingles and covered most of the shiners. Well after 2 months, I'm left with what I hope is a water tight roof...time will tell. Customer service and quality job: A definite no. Frustration and aggravation: A+
