These folks are so knowledgeable and friendly. They made the whole process easy from start to finish. I highly recommend them.

A&B Roofing did a partial roof repair. We were unable to find the exact manufacturer shingles, A&B was able to match the existing shingles perfectly. The job was completed in a timely and professional manner. The employees were great at explaining the process and made sure our questions were answered. A&B was the only roofer who would return our phone call and they kept us informed as when the job would be scheduled.

Work was done in few days, workers were friendly and cleaned up area of work nicely. The roof looks beautiful.

Filled out the request for a bid online, I waited a week for anyone to acknowledge this request and/or contact me. There was no contact from the company. I called them, twice, a week later. No answer, no voice mail option, the call was simply disconnected. This certainly does not seem like a company with quality and integrity to me.
UPDATE to review -
A representative of the company did come and look at the work I need done, the company was willing to meet the price of another estimate I had already received. In the end, I decided to use another company.

The severe 2024 Missoula County wind storm blew some shingles off our detached RV garage at our Frenchtown home. I called several roofing companies, but unable to get any prompt response except from A&B Roofing. They made the process of getting me an estimate and job completion easy: I texted them photos. They sent the estimate. I returned the signed document and they were on-site within several days. Excellent quality results! Our HOA will be contacting A&B as other homeowners are seeking a good roofing company.

Andrew was fast to communicate and helpful. The team showed up each morning and worked until evening. They were friendly, kind, and did a wonderful job with cleanup. They were approachable and able to address our questions. We appreciate their help and are so happy to have a solid roof back on our house!

A & B roofing did a fantastic job repairing our damaged roof on the house and reroof our barn. They got us on the schedule as quickly as possible. They follow through on communication. After the work was done and paid for, our insurance company denied the claim. Andrew has worked tirelessly with them and finally the claim will be approved. We received some severe damage to our roof in a major summer storm, and the entire roof needed to be replaced. Once I made contact with A&B, Andrew came out and did an estimate in addition to the insurance company's estimate, and made a few adjustments and additions that our insurance adjuster had missed. A&B worked closely with both our insurance company, and us to make sure that we were kept abreast of the process and progress of our repair. We worked closely with Andrew on color choices, and he answered our questions quickly. The actual roof replacement took less than 2 days for our house. The first day the old roof was stripped and all the underlayment and prep work was done. The second day the shingles were installed and the job was finished up. The jobsite was meticulously cleaned up after both days of work. I would not hesitate to recommend A&B roofing, Andrew, Denise, and Cameron are all great to work with, and I'm happy to support a local business that has been, and will be here for years, and not just some "storm chaser" company blowing through town and installing substandard repairs.

The crew that was dispatched to our residence was VERY professional and just got with the job right away. We had 5 days of 7am to 7 pm. A & B was one of the few roofing companies who returned my calls for a quote. Andrew made the process clear, gave us a good price, and the A & B crew finished the job quicker than expected (in January no less!). The crew was considerate, cleaned up the old roof and picked up all the trash and nails, installed the new roof faster than expected, and took care of the permitting. The shingles (Duration Flex) looks great. Glad to see my money go to a local company too.

Still waiting for the final inspection because of snow, but they came when scheduled and finished the job in less time than they estimated. I have seen roofers destroy gutters, but they did no damage at all, and they picked up everything from my yard. Their subcontractor who replaced my gutters found places where the builder had installed things wrong and they did it right

Added later: The roof passed inspection. A few shingles came off during a big windstorm and they came right out and replaced them. They offered to come out that same night, but there were no leaks, so I waited until the next day.

Great communication, which is a must! They were easy to work with and fit us into their schedule quickly. Highly recommend and will be using them again on future projects!

We live in a single-story home in a rural area. In early December we noticed that our existing heat tape mounting was causing the melt from our porch roof to drip on our walkway.

We contacted A&B Roofing via their excellent web page. After coordination by email and digital photographs, we scheduled a repair visit. (Although this was a small job, working on a roof in the winter is a task for professionals.)

A&B arrived with a company truck and equipment shop trailer.
They finished the repairs in about 30 minutes.

Because of other site scheduling issues and the nature of the small job, A&B said that no payment by us was necessary for the repairs.

Excellent locally owned company to do business with. They are responsive to bids, and follow-up questions, tidy on the job site and respectful. Most of all my gutter and downspout was installed in a timely fashion and looks great. I look forward to doing business again with them in the future. I highly recommend them to others.

Andrew responded the next day to our request for a quote to replace our 26+ year roof, and even older gutters. Work started a few weeks later and we couldn't have been more pleased with the service. Jamie was a pleasure to work with and he kept us in the loop as the work progressed, including a couple of days when weather prohibited work. It was disappointing to learn that much of the roof did not have a plywood under surface so that was a late addition to project that added a significant unplanned for cost to the project ; but, not surprising for a 50+ years old house. At the end of each days work the site was was fully cleaned up. We were pleased to be able to use a local business and highly recommend A&B for your roof repairs/replacement.

Andrew responded very quickly to my request for help determining the reason behind my roof leaking all of a sudden. He assessed the situation and came up with several suggestions to solve the problem. Rare this day to find a business that responds so quickly and has immediate solutions. Would definitely go to them again if needed.

100% will call this company first for my next roof. I needed a roof replacement after a downed tree and was in the middle of changing my insurance to a rental policy. I couldn’t change the policy until the roof was replaced and had renters waiting to move in. With very short notice, A&B roofing fit my house into their busy schedule in order to prevent a delay in my policy/renters move-in date. They were amazing! A few of my neighbors also commented that the roofers were very professional and courteous with noise while working. Then, dealing with my insurance was a huge hassle and slog (my insurance was to blame), but A&B roofing continually helped me get the necessary information so that my insurance paid the correct amount for the claim. These guys are great. They show up quickly, communicate when the are coming, don't charge for things that don't need done and do a great job. I'll be calling them for my next new roof.

A & B Roofing has been outstanding to work with from the start of the process. I needed a new roof on my house and got multiple bids. I was happiest with their bid because I felt the estimator took the time to explain the different choices I had and possible problems they might run into. Within 2 weeks of signing the contract A & B Roofing was at my house starting the removal of the old roof and completed the job in a timely matter.

I especially appreciated that their workers were supervised, with someone coming ;by the house multiple times just to check to make sure everything was going well. The workers did a great job cleaning up each day and making sure there were no nails or other debris around the entire perimeter of the house. They put plywood on my driveway before putting the huge dumpster down to protect my driveway.

One of the supervisors came over after they finished and saw a couple of minor things that he thought they could do better so without any intervention on my part, I believe they were going the extra mile to give me the best work possible. I would definitely recommend they to anyone looking to install, replace or replace a roof.

And these were only the top 5– Judging from their reviews on multiple sites... this sounds like a pattern of craptastic service and poor communication. If their service is any indication of quality of work I’m nervous for the first rain or big snow.

The work comoleted looks like they did a wonderful job, I have no complaints about the finished outcome. The communication though (beginning to end) was lacking to say the least. Time after time, requesting to be informed about the progress (or lack there of as it was), was like pulling teeth.

Update - Too FUNNY - Over a year later, they post a lame apology reply!!

Accepted an estimate back in September for some gutter work; was told it would be a couple of weeks before Mike could do it. Weeks came and went, finally got a hold of Mike and was scheduled for October 31st. He never showed or called to let us know he wasn't coming. After several attempts to get a hold of him, work was rescheduled for today, November 14th - again, he never showed or called. The heck with it, A&B Roofing!!! You folks can at least let customers know when you can't make a scheduled appointment -- I don't care how busy you are.

My husband and I hired A & B Roofing to roof our home and outbuildings. The workers were cordial, the roof work done in a timely manner and not one scrap of material left behind. That is why as a realtor I refer all of my clients to them.

A&B Roofing did a great job on our house and gutters. The guys on the job were very respectful and did a great clean up.

There's a recall on our shingles on our house and they originally came by saying they would do it. After going through the process after about a year, we had a contract that wasn't signed and we were trying to figure out if we wanted to go through A&B to do it. The shingle company supplies the material and money for labor. They wanted to charge us a lot more. So we called the shingle company and they said that A&B already said they finished the job when we never even signed the contract for them to even start. So, we told the shingle company nothing has been done and we decided to go with another roofer. In summary, according to the shingle company, A&B commited fraud.

A&B supposedly fixed our upstairs deck for the previous owner right before we bought the house. But it still leaked after they redid it. When I called about it, the owner first denied having even done the job. When I showed him the receipts proving he had done the work, he told me he should never have taken the job and did not know how to fix it. Then, instead of refunding the money, he wanted to charge us more to try to figure it out. The new roofer that fixed it said A&B didn't use materials up to code. This company does not stand behind their work and I would not recommend them to anyone.

After having them replace our roof one of the pipes leaked around a storm collar, and they blamed someone else for using wrong calking. I have no idea how they managed to put on a new roof without touching the flashing and storm collar but that is what they are claiming and why they charged us instead of this being a warranty call. and if they are going to charge us 125$ for a service call they at least could have made it out the same day as they said they would. the first call they said they would be out one day to look at it but didn't show up then or call but did come out the next day. then made an appointment to do the work for a few days later but didn't show up then either nor call to let us know. over all cannot recommend this company due to lack of commitment.
