This was literally the worst experience I’ve ever had working with a contractor. When companies don’t have reviews there’s a reason! I should’ve never agreed to using them, but my husband insisted because he thought he was a friend because our children go to the same school. He even talked about how people didn’t pay him etc. and now I know why. That was a red flag I should’ve never ignored. First, they wouldn’t give us their price of what it costs for a new roof. They found out what our check was from the insurance company and charged us $1000 over that. When they got here they hardly covered anything and just dropped all the old shingles on our gutters, air conditioning units, and brand new landscaping. They literally crushed my new azaleas. When I went outside and asked them to quit throwing them on top of the plants they just ignored me and kept doing it. It was a hot day so our air was running. After about 5 hours of them being here it quit working. I went outside to find mounds of shingles on top of the unit completely blocking the fan. The unit overheated and quit working. I asked them to please quit piling shingles over the unit and they continued do it. They also threw shingles, nails and trash on the hood of my neighbors car. She came out and asked them to please stop and they continued to do it. She then called me and said her car was scratched up bad and needed to make an insurance claim or we needed to give her cash to fix it. Then they slung a black like tar all over my house. Bricks are covered in it. They got it on my garage doors and you cannot get it off without the paint coming off the doors. The doors need completely repainting. The gutters have the black tar all over them and several dents from the shingles hitting them. They tried to put new shingles around where vinyl siding is and chipped the paint off of it and bent it. They were also here trying to finish in the dark and didn’t clean up!! They left trash and nails everywhere!!! I picked up probably 200 nails the next day. They even left trash all over the roof. It was like small plastic pieces I’m guessing from packaging. They didn’t even have the decency to come back the next day in the daylight and clean up and make sure roof was ok and clean. I’m still cleaning up from this and trying to fix what they’ve damaged. This roof job will end up costing me thousands of dollars more just because of their unprofessionalism. We have to replace vinyl sidling, gutters, and have garage doors painted and brick professionally cleaned. They left one of their machines sitting in the driveway leaking and now we have 3 large dark oil like stains. I’ve done everything to try and get it up and it won’t budge! They even left trash in our trees!! Like coke cans, cigarettes, and plastic nail covers. This experience was a nightmare for our family and I absolutely would not recommend this company. Save yourself the headache!
