I would highly recommend this company to anyone. I needed to replace my small shed with another. Not only did they remove my old shed, but they put in a nice foundation and built on-site my new shed. I thought I would need to hire different people to tear down the old shed and put in a foundation. I'm so very impressed by the communication and work ethic of all of these workers.

We chose South River partly because they were willing to come out to our home and check the site. Gave us advice on placement and we ended up hiring them for pad prep as well (leveling and gravel placement). The other options were never clear about how the site should be prepped.

The team was efficient on installation day. And we liked that materials were all primed, and then filled and caulked afterwards. The downside was that they don't paint the shed. So, we've been doing that on our own and it has taken quite a while to do 2 coats of trim, and wall paint. Take that into account if considering them.

All in all, I think the quality is as good or better than I expected, and the cost was also higher than most others. . We liked that the group was locally based and had their name and reputation on the line (as opposed to hiring Lowe's who used a remote person for the bid and their staff or contractors for install).

I can't say enough good things about South River Structures.
The owners Andy and Danny are two of the nicest people you can meet. The work they and their crew did was phenomenal.
We had them build our pad as well as the structure since it made sense to have it all done by the same company to avoid any issues between parties.
My build site is on a slope I wanted to make sure it was as good as could be without issues so having them do the entire project make more sense to us. Plus, the pricing was completely fair if not better than fair for everything.
We had met with other companies for our shed and while they were close in price, I think South River was still better priced and the quality of what were getting was definitely better. When you add that we would have had to find another company to do the pad, and those other guys didn't have any leads or contractors they recommended, it became even more evident that having Andy and Danny do it was the way to go.
Mine was a "build on site" shed. They had the pad down in 2 days, and build the entire rest of the shed the following 2 days. 4 days total.
They kept the job site clean and orderly the entire time and when the larger crew was onsite the last 2 days for the structure build, everyone one of them was professional.
I really can't say enough good things about them. I would use them again in a heart beat and I definitely would recommend them to anyone of my family and friends.

It was a pleasure working with the Troyer brothers. It was easy to design precisely the shed I needed, and their workmanship was top-notch. I got bids from three different shed builders, and South River's was the best. They delivered on time and positioned the shed exactly where I wanted it, which wasn't easy.

South River Structures did a great job on a 12x24 foot storage shed, attention to details was great, their site prep was fantastic, and they took the time to find out what I was storing in the shed so they could strengthen up the floor to make it heavy duty enough to hold my future UTV. When we had our first shed built, we had left over windows that matched our home and Andy was happy to use them and to use our house paint color that we also provided. Go look at other companies first pay attention to the #3 (or worse) lumber OSB and fiber board. Look at how they are put together. Studs are further apart not 16 on center look at the finish inside and out. Don’t get me started on the sales.
These are quality built with real plywood. I was almost going to build it myself until we looked at South River as no one else would have built it close to what I would have wanted. Low key on the sales very friendly and honest. Even though Andy said they maybe more money they were about the same price as others with what we wanted and better quality. This gave me a big jumpstart on my office.

Andy was professional, on time and did an amazing job for our community. We needed a safe place to store our tools behind our antique glass greenhouses. He was able to start work quickly, clearing and smoothing the lumpy ground, deliver and lay gravel and setting the shed down a day later. Our community is grateful to him and we would highly recommend you call him, too.

After doing an extensive review of the companies in the area South River stood out as being a better quality construction than the other places i found. They were responsive but not pushy and weren’t trying to blow smoke to my posterior like the other companies. I opted for just about every upgrade and still paid a fair price. I received exactly what I paid for, which was a superior product. I really like that there’s no particleboard or OSB anywhere and they used cement board on the exterior, as well as had options for better doors and windows with better insulation value. Delivery was smooth and we got it nice and square to the house without any issue and it looks great.

Quality, beautiful shed and great service! They went over and above to make sure our shed was properly placed and level. They even matched the paint & trim to our home. Will definitely recommend them!

We recently had our third shed delivered built by South River. Two years ago we had a Santiam storage barn with side porch for the tractor and a beautiful 10x20 Inspiration series for a shop with windows on all sides and a glass door. This year we are putting in a deer fenced fruit orchard and now have a 10x16 Santiam which will be divided by a wall. Most as garden shed and part chicken coop. The building has a door on each end so there are separate entrances. All buildings are painted to match the house including trim so our place looks like an estate! These sheds are far superior to the Home Depot and other sheds we looked at. We are so happy with the quality of buildings and professionalism and friendliness of the guys at South River, especially Andy with whom we worked on all projects. We highly recommend South River.

These people are amazing. They came out at no charge and assessed what we wanted. They sent us a detailed contract and bid and we agreed. They built our gorgeous new shed on the crazy hill behind our home, which is so impressive! First, they tore down our old shed in a day and completely cleaned up the mess afterwards. Next, they built the awesome new shed and tweaked it to fit our needs. They did it in 2 days, painted it, leveled it, and cleaned up. I never heard a peep out of them while they were on our property. I had a tight area in the backyard, was worried about building on-site, but they made it happen! They communicate and respond quickly, work efficiently as a team to create an amazingly beautiful shed within a day. I sealed it before the Oregon rain hit for winter. I love the natural wood color, so I didn't want to paint it; there hasn't been a single leak from the roof or elsewhere. The double doors are a hit with me; I can get large items in and out without struggling. The windows open for fresh air and a cross breeze. I highly recommend this company, you'll have the shed of your dreams for a lifetime.

The guys at South River Structures were very helpful. Andy viewed the site and provided the options available to us. We had previously visited models off Highway 18 between Sheridan and Mcminnville . We noted better construction and materials than other manufacturers. Because we live at the coast, we know the weather can be very harsh to buildings. We chose to have quality design, materials and workmanship. In about 6+ weeks, Andy and Dan delivered our shed. Within two hours it was off the truck, in our back yard, and leveled on blocks. Our experience with South River was excellent . The guys were very professional and friendly . We highly recommend them.

I am a repeat customer of SRS, having taken delivery of a second structure today. SRS built and delivered what I would term a “standard” shed for storage last month. I also ordered a more expansive structure (building and deck, as well as the foundation) which was delivered today. Both projects were of the highest quality construction. Additionally, both projects were delivered on time with excellent communication from design through delivery. I think it’s also important to point out that there is a great deal of flexibility in what SRS offers from a design perspective, to meet unique customer needs. They listen and offer products that fully meet customer needs and are open to change requests (with a very positive attitude!). In summary, I strongly recommend SRS to any prospective customer. I very much intent to engage them again in the near future for additional projects on my property – both home and commercial.
One last point. I am fairly new to Oregon and have engaged a number of firms for various business and personal projects. With COVID and supply chain issues, I am (unfortunately) regularly disappointed (communication, accountability and urgency). THIS IS NOT THE CASE WITH SRS – they stand out in a truly refreshing way! I wanted a small studio. South River came out quickly, explained everything in detail and answered all my questions. They were open to changes and always got back to me quickly and with complete information in how changes would change cost. I never got the feeling I was bugging them when I asked questions.
They did gravel foundation and shed. Foundation placement was exact and measured repeatedly for perfection. When the day came for shed install, they brought the pieces on one trailer and had it fully installed in seven hours. No mess at all. The only sign they were here is a beautiful studio

We had an on-site installation on a concrete slab. They measured that the slab was square. Their materials were excellent. Outstanding job in installation. Would definitely use them again. Impressed with the structure compared to other companies.

We called needing special storage space and a building we can be proud of and use in other ways after a move. Not only did they go beyond to really find a way to help us but they delivered a beautiful building we can be proud to own. We can’t say thank you enough.

Professional, courteous and timely. We purchased a 10 by 12 and a 10 by 20 shed with custom features. Both were quality built to our specifications. The delivery was expertly done. It was fascinating to watch especially the capabilities of the trailer.

I ordered a 12x16 Inspiration shed. I also had them put down the gravel pad. From start to finish, it was a great experience. Andy is professional, courteous and very helpful. They had to bring the gravel in by wheelbarrow because I was very worried my septic tank might collapse under the weight of a truck filled with gravel. They cleared the area of old barbed wire and tree limbs that would get in the way. The shed was delivered today and I am absolutely thrilled. Andy and Dannie did a great job maneuvering it to the pad over challenging terrain...including the septic tank. I am very impressed with SRS and will be purchasing another shed next year. After thoroughly researching South River Structures I ordered our 10x16 shed with very high expectations. The timeline from order to delivery was not as short as it would have been by ordering a prefabricated building, cheaply made, but good things come to those who wait. I wanted a building that would last as long as my house and I believe I got just that. The work SRS sends out their doors is second to none in quality, materials and attention to detail. Andy was quick to respond to communications and gave me exactly what I was looking for in a late option I added. My rule of thumb is buy nice or buy twice and when the price for the best is comparable to average it’s a no brainer.
