I was referred to Jay by another service center. He took my vehicle in and gave me an honest opinion that I didn’t need any work.
The computer just needed to be reset. He was friendly and honest. I would recommend Jay and his crew to anyone who owns a BMW.

A few months ago, I purchased a C43 AMG that had a bunch of little things that were off about it. After going to multiple other mechanics, Jay and his crew were the only ones to find EXACTLY what was causing each of the issues I described. I haven't driven my car with so much confidence since I've had it and am truly blow away at the quality of service. Jay and his team are, very honest, knowledgeable, and trustworthy which is exactly what I needed with such a unique car. Jay was referred to me by a colleague after I had been dealing with an ongoing issue with a glass company and a prior dealer had told me my car required an expensive repair and part. Although ,Jay had a busy schedule and a waiting period, he graciously made time for my car. When Jay got to my car, he identified something completely different (and much less costly.)

After he had fixed my car, he found a huge problem , my car was covered with mold due to a glass repair that was not installed correctly. Jay and Matt are top notch. I’ve had my 2011 bmw 335i for 3 years and have now finally found a shop I can trust completely with my car. Rates are more than fair considering the excellent work they do. They installed my coilover suspension, wheel bearings, cv axles, front and rear end kit. Also helped me out with my slave cylinder and brake lines, and an oil change. My car has never driven so perfect it’s like brand new but better. Highly recommend this shop and I will be a repeat customer any time I am in need. Extremely knowledgeable and kept me updated every step of the way. Thanks again.

My first experience working with Jay. I've owned lots of BMWs and Mercedes and know how difficult it is to find an experienced, trustworthy technician. Dropped my car off in April said no rush have it back to me by beginning of June. Picked it up 2nd week of July with a bunch of other problems. Stupid me took 1 car home left the other now have 2 cars that need repairs. Don’t trust that guy

I love this place had my bmw at another shop they could figure out the problem then I had it towed to South County services. They figure the problem out right away. Great shop with great people. If you want the job done right bring it here.

My 2010 BMW X3 has 198,000 miles, bought used 2017 single-owner in good shape; best car I have ever owned, me being an old Yankee cheapskate. It has been worked on by friends in their home garage, dealerships, foreign auto mechanics. Never more - I'll go see Jay & Matt from now on. These guys know their (BMW) stuff ! I thought my engine was caput but they put it back together so it runs better than ever. About half way through their diagnosing, I was having anxiety attacks... reading about and being involved in scams every day, I went to visit and found their garage with my car & 7 more inside & open, while a similar number were neatly parked out in front waiting. Never fear; these guys are the real thing. Investigate (& FIX) every little or big problem, including upgrading the onboard computer settings, replacing some wrong parts acquired along the road & then significant road testing. The Best of the Best.

Jay and his team are amazing. I recently purchased a 11' 335i with 52K miles on it. The car was single owner car with great service history. Unfortunately, on the ride home picking it up I got a low coolant light on the dash. I could have taken the car to one of the selling dealers "preferred" shops but wouldn't trust anyone else besides South County Service to do the work. Jay and his team did a full PPI, O/C, rear brakes, software updates, belt and tension and coolant expansion tank. The price was reasonable and I had the car back within a week. I'll be bringing the car to him regularly for oil changes and all scheduled maintenance. If you want an honest and fair shop that does exceptional work with meticulous attention to detail, look no further.

An Uber driver Refered me to Jason on my way to pay for services at Inskip. I owned a 2004 BMW 525I in mint condition. After that Uber drive I contacted South County Service for any service. In the 6 years I’ve known Jason he’s done excellent work. I sold my BMW to a family member and the cars still running in top condition. Jason’s service and repair expertise kept my BMW on the road today. My brother still reaches out to Jason for service advice. The BMW still on the road today.

Jay was able to get my Honda Civic in same day for general services - oil change and cabin air filter! Highly recommend!

Owner of a nearly classic X3, this is the first import I have purchased @ 25 yrs of owning vehicles & doing nearly ALL the work on them myself (a few of them reaching over 300,000mi), that being said: this BMW started a of lights on my dash all related to the ABS system. I spent much research on what the issue could be (nobody online has a definite answer despite several attempted remedies) so I reached out to a few 'top' mechanics in a rather large area with my issues... Jay was THE ONLY 1 that expressed any proper ideas of how to address my problems. His background knowledge, & upon seeing his neat/ tidy workplace made me much more confident trusting him - glad I did because my import issue was not only a P.I.T.A in general, but Jay promised to take care of the issue & he certainly did that & then some. Not only did he go the extra 'mile' but my little inline 6 Beemer absolutely feels & drives like it was meant to; New, decades ago! Jay does fantastic work and does it at a way better price than the BMW dealership. I had an issue with my 2014 BMW 550xi and for probably half the price of the dealership Jay redid my entire front end. Front differential, cv axle, wheel bearings, control arms (upper and lower), and tierods. The car came out amazing and drives like new. He also updated all the software which wow was there alot of things that needed updating. Great work at a very reasonable price and nothing gets overlooked. I highly recommend him for anyone needing work done.

I brought my bmw 07 335xi for every single fluid replaced(transmission, engine, brakes, antifreeze, diferetials, transfer case serviced), both front axles and all my modules updated, Jay did a great job and price was very reasonable, will definately bring my car back for more maintenance, thanks again Jay.

I recently had work done by Jay at South County Service LLC. At the time I brought my car in for a coolant leak he had a pretty full shop but said he would get it in within a day or two. Sure enough he called with what he thought was the problem and an estimate. Repair work was great. I did have a very small issue with the reprogramming but Jay told me to bring the car back and they immediately reprogrammed the car while I waited. Maybe took 10 minutes.

If you want it done right with old school values and modern tech you won’t find a shop better. Jason is a superb mechanic who loves cars,and is one of the most knowledgeable talented mechanics I’ve had the pleasure of working with ina lifetime of owning automobiles,he will work with you and treat your car as if it were his own and take total ownership and pride in his work!!..even for the most custom alterations And he’s a nice guy to boot!

Called them to schedule an inspection for a vehicle I was interested in a bying from a dealership. They found me a slot right away the next day. Next day had to call back to cancel on short notice and it was fine. They also gave me great advice on the vehicle and were kind to reassure me that the car was fine. They could have taken the 120 for inspection I likely didn't need but instead gave me advice on warranty and what I should ask. Thank you, will return when I do actually need car work.

I’ve been taking my cars to jay for years. When it comes to fixing my Mercedes he is awesome. Never an issue and he always keeps me updated. He goes above and beyond. Brought my e46 in for a full brake/suspension refresh and engine/transmission/rear diff/coolant fluid swap. The work was extension and as the job progressed more issues were found.

The owner/operator, Jay, was extremely knowledgeable about my car. I was given multiple options on how best to proceed as well as recommendations on what work could be put off and where money could be saved. I also received regular updates including pictures of jobs-in-progress.

Happy to say my 20-year-old car is driving like new.

HMMM...... What can I say about South County Service? What I CAN NOT say, is that Jay and his team do not know the word Can't. Jay Moretti was excellent. From start to finish I really couldn't have asked for more. He was familiar with my vehicle, had all the necessary equipment to repair my vehicle in a timely manner. I'm not typically one to do reviews , but this shop is too good not to share ! I was having problems with my convertible roof on my 2015 Mercedes C300 , the dealership "fixed" it twice so I wasn't interested in letting them try a third time . A local friend pointed me in the direction of South County Service, a garage specializing in Mercedes and BMWs , and right in town making it super convenient. They were able to get me in quick , figured out the problem right away and I had my car back with a perfectly working convertible top in no time . Friendly , knowledgeable, and fairly priced ... I've definitely found my new go to garage and won't be bringing my cars anywhere else !

These guys might love your car more than you do! I’ve had a knocking noise while turning for a couple of months. I replaced some parts and the noise didn’t go away. I brought it to the BMW dealership, let them know that I have done some modifications and upgrades, and ask them to do a thorough look over and not come back with “aftermarket parts“. After two hours at the dealership, that’s exactly what they did. They blamed it on aftermarket parts.
I spoke with Jay a couple times about this issue and he gave me some advice. He also suggested I go into his shop and let him take it for a drive and look it over . Within 10 minutes he had an idea what it was and when we got back to the shop, he opened the hood and diagnosed it immediately.

Screw the dealers. Find a mechanic that loves what they do. If you own a BMW, or Mercedes, I would come to this place.
