I very much appreciate their attention to the problem, and highly recommend Snowbird Roofing and Siding. I will definitely be calling them again when I need siding work done, this has been an overall great experience, and I appreciate how hard this crew works. (Original) Roof is great, workmanship had problems. I hoped not to write this review, but after being ghosted by this company for 2 weeks after daily phone calls, this is where I'm at.

I hired Snowbird to replace my roof in 2023. In December 2024 we looked in the attic and noticed the roofing crew had replaced a damaged roof panel as requested in the contract, but had completely boarded over the vent for the bathroom fan. They left the vent hose laying on our attic insulation, which has been venting water condensation directly on our attic insulation. It wasn't worse because there happened to be a valley in the hose that held the water. We dumped over a gallon of accumulated condensation water out, that had been accumulating over a year!

They also failed to replace a previously water-damaged roofing panel as requested when we hired them. That moldy damaged panel is still in place.

Absolutely unacceptable.

John did a great and fast job working with the insurance and that part was surprisingly easy. Lots of communication up to this point. My roof and siding were replaced and I think they did a fantastic job!
The only reason I can't give 5 stars is the cleanup and final details. I know a big job like this can leave debris, but I was picking up siding shards and roofing blades off my grass = no good for the kiddos! Also, I've been waiting quite a long time for them to put my fence, stairs, and lights/cameras back together.

I honestly wish I could give them zero stars. They removed our siding from our house 1 month ago and left. They dropped off the siding on the side of our yard and it has sat there since. Now, we have had siding stolen from our yard and no one has been out to complete the project and we won't have enough siding. Can't get anyone to answer calls. Very disappointed with this company.

The owner was super nice and the crew was very professional. The roof looks amazing. They started quickly and finished within a few days. The crew worked very hard I was very impressed. They left my back porch and yard in amazing condition. I have only good things to say about this company.

John is very detail oriented and smart. It was easy to see how much he cared about our home. He made sure everything was done correctly and at a fair price. Highly recommend!

Snowbird replaced our roof /rain gutters after a hail storm in our area did damage. They handled the project from start to finish, including working with the insurance company on the claim, which the insurance co paid in full. The new shingles and gutters look great and are of the highest quality.

I absolutely love all the work I just had done by snowbird roofing. Not only did they get me a new roof but they were able to get my entire house painted and 2 new windows installed all under the same insurance claim. I just paid my $1000 deductible and the rest was covered.

I needed to reach a deadline for insurace and these guys were able to get to work fast, which they did reach in time. They were responsive to my messages durning the install. They did miss a few things and that took them some time to get back out to complete. After a few months a wind storm passed through ripping a few pieces off the house, revealing that they didn't replace the old weathered pieces of wood, but tried to just fasten the new facia to them.

After reaching out, I found out that the owner has been going through complications and health concerns, and he wasn't managing the initial install. Luckily he was able to come out to inspect and he made things right. He told me that he's no longer working with the subcontracts that did the initial install on my home.

I'm giving a 4 start rating because the extra time it took to get the job finished. But I appreciate the owner for making things right, I do feel like he's an honest man.

I have no problem giving Snowbird Roofing 5 stars. The company is very easy to work with and actually do what they say and just as important, when they say. John was great to work with and always responded quickly to both email and texts. I would recommend Snowbird to anyone needing a roof. Thanks for the great service.

Other companies also had high pressure salesmen who wouldn't leave after a no and kept pressuring. I'm a skeptical person by nature & a detail oriented perfectionist so it's pretty rare for me to give a five star review but John West & his crew at Snowbird roofing delivered an incredible product. I'm use to companies sending out their sales people who have communication degrees and then watching as they have no control over whatever crew shows up but John was at the job site multiple times making sure everything was good & his crew were so good you could tell this was like a walk in the park for them. Don't be suspicious of the lower price- the results are in no way inferior to the more expensive companies.

We knew the specific roof that we wanted on our house. I received 6 bids. My first impression was that John worked hard and wanted to do our job. He came to visit with me on the day I called. He is the owner, not a salesperson for the company. Right away John was upfront about costs and was very fair on the price he was to charge. I loved that his company could do all of the work I was interested in, the roof, soffit, facia, gutters and siding. I did not have to hire different contractors. His timing to start the job was prompt. I was impressed with his attention to our job. He was present making sure the work was being done as expected. I could not be happier with the finished product. Every day I come home and enjoy seeing how beautiful our home is. If you need a new roof, this is the place to contact. John worked tirelessly to make sure the roof got done and he was on top of things all the time. He communicated constantly with me to keep informed of what was going on through the process.
The roof was finished in one day and I am very happy on how it looks.

Last week I had the pleasure of hiring Snowbird to replace our roof, gutters, and soffits here in Springville.

I chose John after comparing a lot of well reviewed companies who had competitive bids after he showed me the reason why my old gutters were leaking (the roof wasn't installed correctly 25 years ago) when nobody else pointed that out. The price, along with his knowledge and experience, gave me the confidence to choose him over all the many other roofing companies around. Do yourself a favor and have John out to give you a bid!

The actual installation process was great. John and his crew removed the old roof and installed new underlayment, ice & water shielding, hip and ridge caps, and shingles all in a day. We were so happy it was quick since company doing the neighbors across the street had to restart three times and didn't have a roof for a week and a half.

After seeing the quality of the roof installation we decided to do new black gutters and soffits to match and couldn't be happier. It looks like a completely different house. Since Snowbird also does siding I'm planning to have them back to cut a new hole in our wall to install a new oven exhaust vent when we remodel our kitchen later this year.

After the initial review it took 2 weeks but now those issues have been fixed. Fingers crossed it all passes inspection now.
The initial review caused the owner to respond very negatively. He was very verbally aggressive to the point where I was not comfortable dealing with him and passed all that on to my husband. The owner seems to feel that the only acceptable review is five star or nothing.

Went with this company due to their good reviews and quick response time. We used them for siding and gutters on our home expansion project. The siding went up quickly, but less than two weeks later we had siding that was blown down and another piece that came off while railing was being installed. That was repaired, but we are still waiting on a piece where siding was not installed and for a bathroom vent to be uncovered. The owner responds very quickly, but workers do not always show up when we are told they will.

John was great to work with. He always kept me informed of what he was doing for me. They were fast and did a great job and when they were done they cleaned up everything. Great work John and snowbird roofing.

We were looking to use this company to replace siding on our home. We let him know that we are trying to decide if we need to make an insurance claim or not and needed an estimate. The gentleman that came over to look at what needed to be done was very pushy and refused to give us an estimate without us signing an agreement with them. He wanted us to commit to the company without looking at our options or knowing the costs associated with the project. Over text, he insulted us, was unprofessional and rude. He kept on saying that we should look at the reviews. Here is one to look at!

One good thing about this company was how quickly they responded to our request. Maybe they do good work, but we need someone who will provide good costumer service and provide estimates, not treat us poorly and push us into working with them to get any estimates on the work.

Update: He has now provided an estimate and called us scammers for asking for an estimate. It sounds like this gentleman has had some bad experiences and I feel bad for him, but you shouldn't take it out on potential customers. Best wishes.

Snowbird Roofing did a great job installing our new roof. John was quick to come out to Spanish Fork Utah an give me a estimate and with in two days my Roof and Rain Gutters were in installed. Snowbird Roofing did a great job and great quality. I would highly recommend Snowbird Roofing!

Snowbird was very professional and did an amazing job of matching my shingles. They got out to my house as soon as possible and were really fast while doing the work. I honestly didn't even know they had come and did the work until I took my trash out and saw the old shingles. Very impressed and would recommend, such a great value!

The Roofers were really fast and did an excellent job. They put on a new metal roof on our garage and they cleaned up after themselves. The supervisor worked with me and my insurance to get the job done. Wind had caused part of my previous roof to blow off. The supervisor was very friendly and went above and beyond to get the financing necessary to complete this job.

Snowbird installed a metal roof on our house. This year's rain and snow delayed the completion of the roof. However, the results were worth the wait. It looks fantastic. John was very responsive to all my queries and concerns. This should be the last roof on this house we'll ever need.

They. Replaced bad boards and all the shingles in one day. I was very impressed. The work done was very professional and I feel that no could do better.

Replacing our original roof and adding more ventilation. Snowbird was Quick to come out and give a bid that was competitive and offered quality products. Worked around snow and bad weather conditions. Responsive and kept us up to date on progress.

Our new metal roof looks great. Owner of company is very personable and polite. He helped us with the insurance information too. He and his workers did their best to get our project done in the very cold, wet weather. They did a great job for us and did a great job of cleanup after the project was completed. We would highly recommend this company to others.

The City of Elk Ridge used Snowbird Roofing and Siding to finish our salt shed's roof and siding. They are one of the best contractors I have had do work in the city. John, the owner was very professional in every aspect of the work as where his crews. Amazing at what they did and very clean and respectful of the job site and anyone they came in contact with. As with any job there were a few hiccups. When they did arise, John was on the phone right away explaining what the problem was and how he planned to solve it, or any of the options we had to remedy the issue. I can not express how happy the city was with the workmanship and professionalism of Snowbird. I would 100% use them again and recommend them for any job you many have.

I can not praise this company enough, we had terrible micro bursts that caused a lot of siding damage to our property . I looked on line for a local company because i wanted the repair done fast, I choose snowbird based on their high reviews.

They were prompt, professional and courteous.

John West met with our insurance adjuster. They looked at our roof together and even though our roof was 20+ years old it had storm damage that our insurance covered.

Until we heard the radio advertisement we assumed that we would have to cover the cost of the roof replacement on our own.

Being a retired couple it was such a blessing to find out that our roof replacement was covered by insurance along with the removal and replacement of the solar panels.

We would highly recommend this company. The new roof looks amazing. The workers were outstanding they covered the entire outside of the house with tarps and cleaned up everything.

What a wonderful process! We requested a bid via Yelp at 11pm on a Friday night, John West responded immediately and was out at 9am the next morning with a bid. He was progressional and knowledgeable and not pushy. Fast forward, contract since, permits pulled and within one week they did all of this, started and finished the job.

The crew were the hardest workers and super polite. They cleaned up and even went to my neighbors yards to pick up all the tarpaper that had blown. The day that they did the rip off it was very windy and stuff blew everywhere, but they were so thorough and going through and making sure that everything was cleaned up. I think the biggest surprise of all which I was not even anticipating,is that they reinstalled my ice wires after they re-shingled the roof. To me this is above and beyond , as it was not talked about it was not negotiated , it was just something that they did because this guy crew goes the extra mile.

The other factor that we went with this company, is that you can tell the project manager, John West, can sling a shingle and he know what he is talking about. Al the others who bidded our projects probably never got on a roof or knew how to carry a lord of shingles up a ladder.

If we ever have to replace a roof again, I will without doubt call Snowbird Roofing.

These guys took care of a metal roof repair that I needed done. Did good work for a fair price.

Called for a quote on Monday. John was there to look at the roof 2 hours later. Got the quote which as better than I thought it would be. Told him to do the roof and it was done on Thursday. Roof looks great. All the nails and shingles were all cleaned up like they had not even been there. Would highly recommend John and his crew to replace your roof.

Snowbird Roofing replaced our roof after some wind damage. Our insurance wasn't very responsive, and seemed to make things a bit more difficult than it needed to be. But John West was awesome at keeping on them, and getting the job done and completely paid for by the insurance. Roof was done quickly before the weather changed and roof and gutters look great!
