John was fabulous in his response, incredibly timely in getting a very fair quote to me. He was also eagle eyed on picking out other areas where soldering needed to be fixed. I went up on ladder n confirmed every solder joint that he suggested does need to be replaced. Plaza almost 40 years old n needs preventative maintenance. I look forward to working with this local company for years to come. Inlaid copper gutter repairs at plaza where Notth End pizza is in Portsmouth. Look to right on boxed soffit about North End, lead solder broke from frost heaves, it rotted plywood n I had to 6 mill plastic over it n secure with perforated washers. Will replace, have 3/4” ac plywood but no time.
If you have copper I highly recommend Slater.
I’m doubling size of plaza n putting in an Al fresco Italian/Greek restaurant, an ebike store, nail salon n ice cream shop. Hopefully not too many repairs, I do trust Slater n will keep my Dad’s original design of inlaid copper gutters n boxed soffits on addition
