S&L just recently finished my back deck roof and gutters they did an awesome job even worked through part of the rain replaced all the rotten wood and new downspout they cleaned everything up all around they are so reasonable and respectful, extremely nice to work with like a brother's team family oriented I would recommend them to anyone.. make sure you get their name and number they're worth looking up you will definitely be satisfied

These guys are extremely professional and fast. They’re not looking to rip you off nor make extra money off of you with extra projects. They came and did my gutters and extras on the roof without hesitation. They also cleaned up after themselves meanwhile other contractors left nails, screws, etc laying around. Nope everything was cleaned up! Yes I would recommend them! Thanks for the hard work!

The team is professional, shows up when they say they will, and take care of any issues that may arise before, during, and after. Very pleased- with all of the work they did on my siding, gutters, roof, porch, and painting. Will use them again for any future work.

Recently, we had a major storm come through Pittsburgh with 80 to 85 mile an hour winds that created a lot of damage to not only my home in the Pittsburgh, South Side, but too many of my neighbors as well.

Steve (the owner) from S&L Remodeling was at my home before the storm even ended. I had major damage to a second story flat roof as well as major damage to our shingles and third floor siding..

Within two hours, my flat roof was covered to protect it from any more damage to the inside of my property and they also covered the main roof to protect the inside of my home for any more water ingress.

Steve not only did that for my home but actually protected at least four other properties that evening on my street. The process to get a quote from him as well as him working directly with my insurance company was absolutely flawless.

Within a couple weeks after the storm and once all the insurance estimator’s did their job with the inspection, Steve came in with his crew and proceeded to do all the work which lasted approximately 2 1/2 days.

His crew were absolutely fantastic and the cleanup was perfect.. Steve even went out of his way to do some additional work on a smaller flat roof that I have in the front of my home at no additional charge. Is their pricing the lowest o but it’s also not the highest and for me I never use the lowest or the highest bids but the fact that he was here when we needed him most means a hell of a lot more to me than simply price.

If you have any need in the future for a new roof or just a repair, just give them an opportunity to look at with the job and get a quotation from him. I guarantee you you won’t be sorry…. And today with all other scammers that are out there, people say they’re going to do the job and they never do it, or worse, they never show up, It’s refreshing to know that there are still people out there that won’t take advantage of you when you need them the most.

Steve's crew did and excellent job on our siding repair (due to 70mph winds from a storm the previous week). Considering how many homes in the area had damage from this severe storm I'm pretty sure S&L Remodeling was swamped with work. They were professional, efficient and got to the job within the week. I would absolutely contact them in the future for any roofing, siding or gutter issues.

S&L remodeling were fantastic to work with for our deck remodel, which was really a deck tear-down and complete rebuild in a very difficult backyard.

They were attentive, stayed on track despite a few uncontrollable and unexpected weather and large tree root delays, Their commitment to customer service was obvious during the entire project.

The quality of work was fantastic. Their creative problem-solving was much appreciated, and truly couldn’t be nicer people to work with. We recommend this family oriented business highly!

Highly recommend this company!! I needed one row of aluminum siding replaced & the shingle flap across peak of roof. I called several different places. This company was truly the only one who not only responded right away, but came to my house the very next day to take pictures & order supplies that were needed so they could return 2 days later to complete the job! They did a great job, reasonably priced & Dan was very friendly, knowledgeable & great to deal with!! If you need any type of roofing or restoration done please don’t hesitate to call this company!!

We worked with S&L Remodeling to fix a small leak in our roof. Everyone we interacted with was super friendly and amazingly helpful. The work was competed pretty quickly (couple of unavoidable weather delays) and the price was very competitive. I highly recommend S&L for your next home project.

Steve and his crew were above and beyond accommodating. I found them at the 2024 Pittsburgh Home Show at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center.
I had a smaller job of a back porch roof.
My slate could not be salvaged at the age it was, and bids from slate installers were well beyond what I wanted to pay.
S & L Remodeling gave me the best option for the slate, but since it is up high and only we can see it, we decided to go with a highly recommended shingle instead.
They replaced my roof, new flashing, facia boards and inspected a made repairs to my copper gutters.
They went above and beyond my expectations.
I had bids from a couple other places, but Steve and his company is what I felt was my best choice. Not a big company that looks as us as ‘just a small job’.
They were quick, cleaned everything up and I could not find one fault, and I am picky.
I recommend them highly and any additional work that I have will be going to them.

I am looking to get a roof built over top of my deck. After receiving quotes from S&L among a few others, I decided to do something different because it didn't seem feasible to do what I wanted. That being said, S&L was exceptionally helpful in understanding the challenges to my requests and explored multiple options to try to accomplish my goals. It was really helpful to get honest information and I appreciate S&L not cutting corners just to get a contract. And ultimately the quote provided was reasonable, despite needing more than I wanted to build the cover. I would absolutely go to S&L for my future remodeling needs.

Steve and his crew were true to there word! They showed up early and on time. They were very coordinated and knew exactly what they were doing. They wasted no time and finished my whole roof within one day! They did an excellent job at cleaning up everything after the job was complete. You can’t even tell a work crew was there besides the beautiful new roof they completed.

S&L installed a new metal roof to our home. We received our estimate and after making a deposit—they were installing the roof within a few days. Everything was done very professionally and the team that did our roof worked very hard from early morning till evening. We are more than pleased with the excellent craftmanship and speed of this install. They also did a great job cleaning up the entire area. We highly recommend S&L as a good, professional and trustworthy company to do business with. We will certainly look to them in the future for other work. Great job!

The crew showed up at noon and by four o'clock my barn/shed had a brand new roof. Everything was cleaned up and left spic and span. The guys worked together like well-oiled machine, and they were very careful not to disturb the shrubbery. We are very pleased with the job.

An icy windstorm this past winter left our aluminum soffit and siding rattling and leaking. Although the house is old and tall and the lot is steep, S&L Remodeling's band of merry men tightened it up for a reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Had Steve back for more work on our 25 yr old deck. His team replaced the floorboards, came back to stain them and this week replaced the railing. Steve’s crew finished in 2 days and they did an excellent job, as usual! Highly recommend them, quality work, efficient and great results!
