After another company told me I urgently needed replacement and had to sign their contract immediately or lose out on their offer, I called Skyward Roofing for a second opinion. Someone came out within hours to look at the roof. I appreciate not only the low pressure outline of work needed in the initial visit, but a detailed explanation of the parts of my roof and how they were holding up / functioning.

Roof vent moulding around the nailer holding the vent to the roof pulled out on one side due to high winds. Called skyward Roofing, Robert stopped by on time and ready to work, looked at the job, he told me they usually have a $750 minimum, and he wouldn’t know what to charge me, but since he is here he would pop moulding back on, my roof is over 20 years old and he told me to call when I needed a new roof and he didn’t charge me! Free! The whole job only took 15 minutes.
That doesn’t happen too often in today’s world, he had his son, who was with him fix the vent, so I gave his son 50 bucks as a tip!

I called three roofing contractors in the Yonkers area for a roof estimate. Two of them were adamant that I needed a full roof replacement. Skyward Roofing was upfront with me and gave me my options for replacement AND repairs. A replacement was just not an option at this time so I was thankful Skyward Roofing could do the repairs to buy some time with my current roof. The crew did a fantastic job with our roof!
