From the initial call, Skyward Contracting connected me with a dedicated project manager, Jordan Smith. Jordan not only listened to my concerns but also went the extra mile by offering a quick temporary fix to protect my home from upcoming rain. True to his word, Jordan swiftly tarped the missing shingles I had pointed out and even discovered additional damage on the other side of the roof.

Jordan's expertise and thoroughness were evident throughout the process. After assessing the roof's condition, he explained that a complete replacement was necessary. He offered to work closely with my insurance company to ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience. Jordan personally oversaw the insurance inspection, making sure that all damages were accurately captured and reported.

Once the insurance approval was obtained, Skyward Contracting scheduled the roof replacement promptly. Jordan's attention to detail extended beyond the roof itself. During an attic inspection, he discovered that the roof decking didn't meet the city code requirements. Jordan successfully communicated this issue to my insurance company, securing approval for a complete re-decking of the roof.

I give 2 stars only because of their initial timely response.
Our home suffered wind damage back in February. Not knowing the process we didn't get a contractor at first and received a check from our insurance company. After the low-ball check from the insurance we looked into our own contractor to do an inspection and detail all the damage and try to get all work done that really needed to be completed. Initially they were very responsive and sent Drake and his girlfriend(didn't catch her name) out to do an inspection. Everything sounded promising and he seemed convinced he could get the money to get the work done. We signed a contract of intent to give them our business as soon as the insurance agreed to pay and to have their sign in our yard. They tacked up a tarp over several holes in the side of our home where siding was missing. The tarp lasted maybe 2 weeks and has fallen. We told them immediately but it still is hanging from the house. We have been taking water on and it has actually gotten into our house and soaked our daughter's floor and has resulted in her mattress getting moldy. We have been calling them for months asking for updates and leaving messages. Calls are now going unreturned and we only get an update if someone happens to answer the phone. Our insurance adjuster at our insurance company needs pictures as Drake only sent an itemized list instead of actual evidence of damage. We told them this over 2 weeks ago when we happen to get thru. We also let them know that Drake's phone was not working for us to which we were assured that he would call and update us as he had a new phone number. No call from Drake, no new number and no info sent to adjuster. We are going on 6 months of the side of our house being exposed to water, our fence in shambles and weakening even further down the line as it tries to hold itself up and roof damage. The insurance is willing to pay further to have everything fixed but is not getting what it asks for. Emails with request to respond with confirmation of receipt have gone unanswered. I know we signed a contract and have kept their sign in our yard but they're making themselves look bad when the work hasn't been completed and we are advertising their work and name. The least they could have done is tack the tarp back up when told about it. How well was it put up in the first place if the first bit of weather pulled it down? We wish to sell our house and no one wants to buy a house with damage that has no date for being repaired. A little bit of communication goes a long way and the customer should not have to chase down the company to get any information about their claim. At this point we will have to break the contract and find a company willing to actually do the work that is promised and one that communicates with us.

We had our vinyl siding replaced after some storm damage. Rick was able to get our insurance to cover the cost of the replacement. They had the job done in only one day and everything is GREAT! Quality work and very good customer service. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone that needs work done on their home.

I called several different roofing companies to give me an estimate on repairing my rotting trim on my house. No one even took the time of day to respond to my inquiries except for Skyward. They were prompt, professional, and fair. No job is too small for these guys. Highly recommend for all of your exterior needs, big and small.

From the beginning of my experience, Charlie has been amazing! After I submitted an online request, Charlie was the first to reach out to me. He was always in frequent communication. I’ve never really had to use a contractor before so he walked me through the process with complete honesty and transparency. He’s been understanding and very, very, very patient. Today, Brandon came out to fix the trim of my house. The friendliness did not stop at the office, Brandon was just as amazing! Super friendly and personable. To top it off my house looks fantastic! I highly recommend this company… prices are reasonable and the people are simply amazing. Their work is high quality too! I couldn’t say enough good things about them.

Highly recommended roofing service. There have been lots wind in Ohio this year, My roof is about 15 years old. I called Christian Sorg for the free inspection, he came the 2nd day, and found out there were a few shingles missing on back of my roof. He helped me file the claim with insurance company and discussed the measures with the adjuster. It’s a super smooth process, the installation was scheduled within 1 week when the insurance approved. The service is very responsible and professional.

I've had these guys out to my house on two different occasions for wind damage to my vinyl siding they are very professional they are very fast to respond and their pricing is very fair I will definitely be calling these guys for all future Siding & Roofing repairs

Charlie and Jon are professional, responsive and patient. My insurance claim lasted 6 months. Charlie guided me through the whole insurance claiming process, talk to agent, adjustor, inspector, manager. He also came over multiple times to take pictures, and handling inspectors. The second inspection took about 3 hours, and he was here all three hours. Very happy with them. They are experts on handling insurance company and making sure you have a fair claim.

I had an excellent experience with Skyward Exterior Renovation. I had a few shingles blow off of my roof during a recent wind storm and because the actual cost to repair the damage was minimal, many of the larger roofing companies were hesitant to do the repair. I even had one company come out, told me I didn’t have any damage, yet didn’t even climb up on the roof, only eyeballed it from the ground. I called Skyward and they were extremely responsive, professional, kept me informed throughout the process, and were very polite. They were out the next day or so and climbed right up there and fixed it on the spot. They were a lifesaver and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an honest roof repair company!

Jon And Charlie was great at first but then they leave you hanging. They met with me and inspected the roof/met with the insurance inspector.

After that they quit responding and ignored my phone calls. Finally two weeks later Jon answered and said Charlie submitted addl info to the ins adj, I called the ins adj 3x now as of today, he has never recd anything from them no estimate or pictures. The insurance adjuster has been waiting?????
I gave them to Friday July 10, if they cannot submit the estimate and pictures to the insurance adjustor then I have no choice but to move on to a company that will respond and submit the info for the repairs. It’s sad they are really nice people but what do you do?? I do recommend them if it is not a complex case and a difficult insurance company as mine was (mine was very complexed and my insurance was very difficult and time consuming to work with) in their defensive.
We were able to have another company take over and finally get the insurance company to pay for all of the repairs that Skyward found originally. It just took another three months and providing more information and doing the several shingle tests and providing it to the insurance company to get all the repairs covered. My insurance was very exhausting to work with. I just wished they would told me they it was getting to complicated before ignoring communicating with me that they couldn't do more with my difficult insurance company. But I appreciated them being very detailed initially and finding a lot of the damage and getting the ball rolling with the insurance company it helped a lot with the other contractor.

Charlie and Zac did a great job helping us deal with some siding repairs to our home. They were super patient with us because we had a lot of questions, and finished the job very promptly. Charlie even replaced our downspouts when it wasnt technically in the bid! Hats off to these guys for great customer service

Not a fan. We have an aged roof on our home. I called around for replacement estimates. The first thing out of this guys mouth was possible damage from hail or high winds. He said he could give me an estimate based on satellite image. I was put off that this guy called me back when I wasn’t home to actually get up on my to further investigate. He called back and said I have hail damage and he could get me a pretty substantial coupon from my insurance company. Well all the other well known reputable roofers in our area that looked at my roof said I didn’t have any hail damage whatsoever. Watch out that this guy might be trying to scam your insurance, the insurance might just pay the claim, then jack your rates because they know the roofer scammed them, you’ll be paying not him.

We worked with Skyward to have our roof replaced in late Fall 2018. They worked directly with my insurance company and the entire replacement job was covered. We had some interior water damage, and they expedited the job for us. The individuals we worked with were professional and we had personal cell numbers for all of them to reach out when we needed to. I would definitely work with the company again if needed.
