A lot of leaking, poor experience. Skyview Roofing replaced our roof in February of 2022. About two months later, we had wet spots on the ceiling in two rooms after heavy rain. When we called about the leaks, Skyview said the problem was rotted siding (therefore, not the roof).
We had a local general contractor out to look at the roof and he mentioned that Skyview re-used the old step flashing and overlapped it, causing it to shift. There were also multiple exposed nails and gaps in the caulking. He agreed that the siding had a little rot, but he did not feel it was sufficient enough to see so much leakage. We got Junction City Building and Code Enforcement involved. They had no record of Skyview putting on a new roof, or scheduling any required pre/post inspections. The city inspectors said they could not “fail” the roof.
Skyview insisted it was rotted siding causing the leakage and shied away from accountability.
After more rain and more leakage, we emailed again and Skyview came back out and “sealed” everything up. Flash forward a few months (with intermittent leaking still occurring) and we had our siding replaced by a different company. The siding company replaced all of the flashing and resealed everything for us as well, even commenting that they weren’t surprised we were having issues—they agreed with the general contractor’s conclusion that the roof replacement itself had been subpar and caused the leaking.
After the siding was complete I asked Skyview to contact the City for a final inspection and Skyview informed me that “The city has already closed the inspection out”.
So now we are stuck with a lot of internal water staining that we did not have before the new roof. Would not recommend Skyview’s services.

I hired them in January to replace my roof that was destroyed in the wind storm. I asked for a couple vents and insulation to be installed at the time, and asked for any color but black. Todd assured me that this was absolutely no problem for his crew.

April comes and a guy that said he had just gotten out of the Army 4 days ago and didn’t know what he was doing shows up to direct Ramon and his crew on the job. Then comes back later to tell me that the crew isn’t qualified to install roof vents… that guy leaves and I never see him again.

Ramon’s crew rips off my roof, taking parts of siding, trim and my gutters with it. They make a huge mess in the attic, it will be a huge undertaking to make it safe to work in again.

Then one of his crew tells me that it’s too windy and they won’t be able to install the insulation, but it wasn’t too windy for them to run 4x8 decking up a 16’ ladder…

I call Todd, he promises that they will remove the decking and install the insulation the next day while I’m at work. Not only did they not do what he said they would they said, but they put on a black roof, the one color I said no to.

Todd said he’d make it right, that he would install the insulation and the gutters and pay for everything I had to have reinstalled. He didn’t.

Work was outstanding, the crew was friendly and professional. Slight scheduling mix up was the only hiccup we had. Would recommend to anyone needing roof work in the junction city area.
