Lo and behold, I look up his business and he's supposed to be closed today. My wife and I are so incredibly grateful that he came and took care of the work for us. Specifically, we needed to have curtain and television mounts disassembled and reinstalled.

I also wanted to point out that he and his worker were both highly competent and precise, and that even though we ended up spending $170 more than the other handyman quoted us, it was definitely worth it.

We took french doors down to a single door and had issues with our own work. Rudy gave us an estimate that was very fair. Gene came out and took great care in straightening it out - it involved concrete removal, multiple decisions,and serious muscle and more than a little bit of tweaking. Despite this, we only paid the price Rudy had quoted us, and the door is absolutely perfect. Recommend without hesitation and will definitely call again.

If you are looking for a versatile handyman, Silver Desert Handyman is the guy for you. Not only is he very capable for general handyman services, but he is also a high quality metal worker. Not every handyman has his complete skill set. I first hired the Silver Desert Handyman to repair a dilapidated gate into my back yard (which he a superb job of repairing), and I have used him ever since. Most recently he welded a broken metal lawn chair for me. Without that, I would have had to throw the chair away. I highly recommend the Silver Desert Handyman for all your handyman needs.

I was very happy with my service. I had a office chair put together and my tv hung on the wall. Rudolp did a great great job! He was professional, patient, on time, very courteous, and nice. Outstanding Work!
I had pigeons living on the roof of my home, making my house’s exterior nearly impossible to keep clean, which was also causing problems with my homeowner’s association. These guys did the job at around one-third of what was being asked by others. They went all-out in solving the problem: putting wire mesh guarding on entrance/nesting points, used pigeon spikes, thoroughly cleaned the area, used bird repellent gel, and even rebalanced tiles which the birds had dislodged. They got back to me quickly, gave an estimate with meaningful suggestions, tackled the problem in a way that the issue was totally resolved, and in every way went the extra miles.

Rudolf was magnificent! He provided same day service, brought all his own supplies, bought all the equipment that we needed, and finished the job lightning fast. I highly recommend SDH for all your handyman needs.

I purchased a home that had been rented for 20 years straight. So many things are just worn out. I made a list and started calling handymen that were recommended by friends/clients, etc. First two worked by the hour ($50) and they showed up alone to do things like replace a front door and side door, knock down a pony wall, and more. But $2600 later, I felt everything was just too slow. Then I read on Yelp about Silver Desert. They gave me quotes for the labor on replacing a support post on my patio pergola and repairing / refurbishing the gate on my redwood fence. Materials are a separate charge. First project three people showed up and got it done that day! Second, two people (and always Rudolph with them) and they were done again within a few hours. Rudolph works with them and keeps the client informed. Everyone is very polite and they clean up after themselves. They knew I was going out of town soon, so they squeezed me in between other projects. With that in mind I understood when they couldn’t make it exactly on time, but Rudolph always calls/texts to let you know if they are running late. The work is very good too. I paid for materials separately from the quote on the labor and I am happier knowing what I am pay before we start the project. Will definitely be using them again!
