They are protected birds, and once nesting season starts and they are in our walls [our house was a "woodpecker nesting condo"] then all bets are off for another season. We have had false starts.
The estimator said they would get right on it, AND IT HAPPENED. I was won-over by a very detailed and impressive initial proposal, photos with annotations that left no doubt which 2 sides of the house would be replaced. After getting bids from several siding companies, we went with SidePro to replace cedar shingles with Hardie Plank on a section of our home that gets full sun and causes paint to peel. They were a pleasure to work with from the estimator to the office help to the installers to the painters. They were scheduled pretty far out but we didn't mind waiting a bit, and once onsite, they were super fast, courteous, and very clean. We'd use them again for any of our siding needs.

We had the south-facing side of our 1926 craftsman home re-sided with Hardie siding, along with replacement of the windows on this side of the home, completed with the Side Pro team this fall. Everyone on their team was friendly, honest, professional and communicative from the starting bid phone calls through to the end of the project.

We had to have some extra interior work done to the window casings after installation and they arranged for the carpentry quickly and expediently. Their carpenter, Chris, was awesome.

The entire project turned out even better than I was expecting. Their attention to detail is top notch.

Being in the Seattle area, I would expect to over-pay for craftspeople who perform at this caliber, but their bid (which they stayed true to through the project) was incredibly reasonable.

They have good groups of installers but their Project Managers are really where it's at and they make sure to take excellent care of us and resolve issues if they arise. I had new JamesHardie Cedarmill siding installed by SidePro in fall 2024. The biding phase of the project was hassle free working with Ryan. While other siding company estimators tried to apply time pressure to decisions and were very "salesy" in nature, Ryan felt very transparent, answered the questions I had, and worked on my time. Pricing was competitive, and scheduling ended up being pretty straighforward, with my project starting a week before original projections.

The crew assigned to my project was Jose and Ismael Fernandez; from the moment they set foot on the project site these guys were respectful, courteous, and professional. At each step during the project they checked in with me on project status, and ensured I was happy with the work/results. They answered all my (somewhat basic) questions, and were very customer focused throughout the project. Their attention to detail and overall quality of work was really appreciated and made the whole residing experience much more enjoyable. I would definitely request them again should I ever be looking to reside another house in the area. The project manager Alejandro was similarly very customer focused, easy to get ahold of with questions, and worked to ensure I was pleased with results at each phase of the project.

Overall I was very pleased with the end result of my residing project, and would recommend anyone in the market for residing work to strongly consider SidePro. They are professional at each stage of the project, and really do care about customer experience and satisfaction with the end product.

Side-Pro is fantastic. We got bids for new James Hardie siding and new windows for our home from all the highly recommended companies in the Seattle area and we felt really good about selecting Side-Pro from the start. First, the estimating process is quite different across these various companies, and we appreciated Side-Pro's approach. Their proposal was super clear and easy-to-understand. They were also no-pressure and didn't do any of the sales-y tactics we experienced with a few of the others (e.g., sign today and get this discount, or unlimited this or that, etc.). Then the superintendents and craftspeople were always top-notch and their dedication to quality showed in all of their work. To me this felt like something engrained in the Side-Pro culture. They all do things the right way. I recommend them highly.

We had a Side- Pro team come put siding on one of our homes, they did such an amazing job we referred them to another family member and are now having them come back to do our home. They were patient with all our questions and did a fantastic job, clearly they know what they are doing. For sure would recommend!

From the start the experience with side pros was great! DJ was very flexible and thorough. He was really great at fitting me into their schedule and providing a competitive bid quickly. He did an awesome job working with me to ensure all my questions were answered. Duane did an initial inspection and when some unexpected issues arose he was helpful and adjusted the plan accordingly. He was very responsive and came to check on the progress in the middle of the project and make sure I was feeling good about it.

The crew was also great to work with. Ezequiel and Ever were phenomenal. They answered all my questions and were great through the whole project. They both knew what they were doing and did an amazing job making my house look brand new. The job wasn’t just siding. There were some complicated issues that needed to be dealt with, and I felt confident with both of them doing the job. They are hard working and very skilled at what they do.

Roberto came by towards the end to make sure I was completely happy and made sure the paint crew came by to touch up any parts of the house that were the previous color before all the new siding went on. He was also very thorough and helpful. From start to finish it was a great experience and will be sure to recommend them to others as well as call them for any exterior needs I might have in the future.

I thought I needed to add shingles to cover an area of exposed foundation. Matt came out to look at the potential project and gave me a very thorough and professional evaluation. He honestly discussed my options which also included the choice to not proceed with adding shingles and still keep the exposed support beam protected from the elements.

I ended up not needing the shingles and gratefully appreciated Matt's honesty in helping me with my decision.

I would definitely use this company in the future.

Side-Pro replaced our original siding with Hardie Board. They communicated well throughout the siding process; worked carefully around our trees; cleaned up each afternoon; and have done a high quality job. We’re pleased with the results. One thing to know is there are separate crews for other parts of the work (painting and gutters) which are scheduled (potentially weeks / months) after the siding is complete. We’re looking forward to the completed project and feel confident they’ll approach that scope with a similar level of professionalism.

Sam helped myself & my husband with replacing our siding. It was such an easy experience with this company. I live in a 1902 home, so retaining character while replacing the siding was key. Not to mention dealing with many house surprises along they way. They partnered with me to define the look and best materials to use (including good recommendations on look), worked with my endless precise measurements and demands, and the crew delivered it near perfectly!

I needed a hole cut in the siding of my brand new house to mount a light fixture in my back yard patio. I called Side Pro and talked to Sam who said they would be happy to do the job. In less than a week he sent one of his workers who did an excellent job of cutting a hole and mounting a block for the light. The work was done quickly (35 minutes) and looks perfect. I really appreciated the professionalism from the office, to the scheduler, to the actual worker (Abel), to the person who invoiced the job. And the price was very reasonable. I would highly recommend Side Pro and will definitely use them again.

We used Side Pro on our private new construction build, and it was such a positive experience. Excellent communication and quality work. We were very happy with the result. We even had them come back out for some late change orders and I was surprised by how quickly they turned them around. Very pleased, and will absolutely use in the future.

Side-Pro did an amazing job on our home! We added 800 sq ft to our existing home and they did the roof, windows, siding, gutters, and interior paint! After receiving many bids on our roof replacement, siding and window needs we were excited to work with Side-Pro. Their bid was delivered with every detail needed to describe the process and the expectations of the work. It came in a binder type form with pictures of every process to be preformed. Really the best bid I have ever seen displayed this way! It is clear after looking at it that they know what their doing and take care of waterproofing the correct/professional way.

After and during the job I had easy access to the supervisor at hand. Everything was done perfectly and we no longer have a leaking roof. We had them install new gutters as well and now the house looks brand new.

I already have future projects that have their name on it.)

I worked in depth with Sam @ Side-Pro in getting the whole exterior of my home remodeled. During the midst of the pandemic they were very prompt and up to par with following through. They took all of the siding off my home and replaced with new hardy pro and painted all of the trim. There were of course some hiccups along the way but that always happens in construction so its easily overseen. They did a great job and I am happy with the work. Thanks a lot! Highly recommend.

TLDR: Side Pros has been amazing to work with. Siding, windows, deck repair, wall repair, and painting is complete! The end result is fabulous and we are so happy with their quality of workmanship and communication. I highly recommend them.

We started getting bids to replace our siding in July 2021 when our plans of doing a full remodel were not feasible. The Side-Pro estimators Russ and Matt were on time, friendly and very thorough when they did the walk through. I never felt pressured or like they were trying to make a quick sale. We had a unique circumstance where we needed someone to not only put new siding and paint, but we needed them to repair a wall that was under a deck, replace rotted wood, remove a chimney, replace windows and cut off an overhang that didn't make sense. They captured all these details and gave me a very thorough proposal with options in just a few days. Matt continued to respond to me promptly throughout the entire process of selecting, adding and removing items from the proposal and finalizing with the foreman. There were so many things I had questions on like, "what kind of WRB options are there, can we add furring strips, should we go with pre-primed or pre-painted Hardy, how will the boards be attached and spaced on the wall? etc" that they were very patient in answering and educating me on. For things outside of their wheelhouse, they had great recommendations like for Waterproof Decking and Flat Roofing. After about a month of going back and forth with details, I finally put down my deposit and signed the contract so we could get on the schedule. It wasn't cheap, because it was a big project, but we wanted to work with someone who had all their contractors in-house on staff, and the pricing was competitive with other siding quotes.

Fast forward to January 2022: Duane and Teo walked around the whole house with me and made note of the unique issues we needed fixed. They made a plan and Teo and his crew showed up on-time at the same time every day and left on time too. Overall, I really enjoyed working with Teo and his crew. They are truly masters of their craft. As someone who is detail oriented and curious, I had so many questions about the process and wanted to make sure that things were going to end up how we wanted them since it was such a big undertaking. They were super nice and professional about answering all of the questions and made sure to confirm with me about placement of vents and what special things we wanted done. I was also working from home, so I had the ability to answer questions quickly as they came up. They were organized and cleaned up the site at the end of each day, my neighbor even commented on how clean it was! All the workmanship was excellent, and they went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the result. I pulled the city permits I needed and they left things ready for inspection which passed every time with no issues. We had some change orders due to finding surprises with the house (rot, fiberboard sheathing, nonstandard door framing, etc) but they did what we needed them to do for a reasonable additional cost. They even finished the project earlier than planned and everything went smoothly with the billing and payments. We had to wait a while for painting, due to the unusually rainy weather we have had this year but it got completed in July! Thank you Side-Pro Exteriors for being such an awesome, cohesive team and for being clear, detailed and focused on the customer. It has been a pleasure working with you!!

SidePros was responsive from the moment I submitted a roofing estimation down to the final approval of the work. Every one of their team members is courteous, fast to answer questions, and is incredibly knowledgeable. I’m very happy with our new roof and the quality of work they provided. If you’re in the market for a roof replacement, they’re a great company to work with.

Repeat customer using Side-Pro as our nearly 30 year old home needed a refresh on it's exterior. We first used Side-Pro in 2019 replacing our old cedar siding with Hardi Shake and could not have been happier with the install team and Duane as this was phase 1. We contracted with Side-Pro again in 2021 for Phase 2 and again, are very pleased with the install team and Duane. Duane goes above and beyond in all aspects from scheduling and essentially coordinating every aspect from start to finish. Top notch contractor, very professional and take great pride in what they do. I would recommend Side-Pro all day/every day.

I got three different estimates and Side Pro was the least expensive by far. When I started working with them, there were some issues, but the people were exceptionally professional and resolved all issues we had. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a new roof.

Side-Pro replaced the siding on the southern exposure of my home including the chimney run. The work was accomplished within the estimated time frame and the job site was kept neat and clean throughout the time the crew was on site. Not all companies I spoke with wished to handle partial replacements but Side-Pro did.

We had a great experience with our siding installation with SidePro. The office team went above and beyond sourcing a hard to find product for our project. The installation team was fantastic. Easy to work with, courteous, tidy, and extremely high quality work. We are so happy with the results.

I reached out to Side-Pro for an independent evaluation of siding work done by another company since we had already identified several issues on our own but our siding/construction knowledge is very limited. They were happy to assist and provided a thorough review and explanation of the issues. If I could go back, I would have chosen Side-Pro in the first place because the quote was comparable to the company we went with and I expect the quality would've been better. Side-Pro crews are employees, not contractors, and the company seems to be more focused on doing the job right rather than doing it fast.

Side Pro is a great business. We had extensive work done by these folks and it was all very professionally done. I was impressed with the communication always in a very timely manner, all estimates were gone over clearly, and all questions answered well. The team always cleaned up after themselves daily, and even cleaned up some of our mess! I will for sure use them again in the future for any outdoor projects we may have. Love them!

I did not hire this company, but they were too busy to chat about estimation for a project in the spring of next year and were very dismissive in communicating that. It definitely does not seem like they value new clients or projects so would recommend looking elsewhere if you value professionalism.

I had a great experience with this company. They were professional, on time, clean, and reasonably priced. I worked with Miya to schedule our job and she was so easy to work with, even when we had to push the job out. Carl worked on our project and was fantastic. He remembered every single thing I asked him to fix and even suggested a few fixes (such as additional flashing) that I didn’t know I needed, which I very much appreciated. Overall they were excellent to work with and I would hire them again in a second.

The owner called me to personally apologize for my experience, and I feel comfortable upping my review to 5* because of that simple gesture, as it shows he truly cares and wanted to understand my experience and learn from it. I greatly appreciate that mindset. While I ultimately found another vendor for my work, I will definitely consider Side-Pro in the future, should I require their expertise.

Initial story:

I did not use Side-Pro, however I did have a highly frustrating conversation via text with them in an attempt to assess whether I should hire them for my siding/trim repair. I'm giving a 3* review based on my experience in attempting to work with them. I'm giving them 2 free stars because I have no basis on which to judge the quality of their work, so it would not be fair for me to ding them for something I didn't engage with.

That said, my brief text engagement with them to attempt to get repairs completed was met with terse responses and ultimately what I perceived as dismissive undertones.

We purchased a home that needed new siding. I got bids from several well known/well reviewed companies. In the end, Side Pro had the best deal overall for what we wanted done (including a great price for stone veneer sections that were installed by Brian Lane Masonry). I met with Sam Brock and then our foreman Duane to go over everything we wanted and get a clear bid that didn’t change. Our installers were Margarito and Jeffrey and they did an excellent job. They were always on time, positive, and efficient. We went from having old cedar panel siding with peeling paint to Hardie lap and shingle siding, with sections of cypress ridge stone veneer made by Eldorado Stone. We couldn’t be happier with the results!

I hired Side Pro on a recommendation from my brother who was quite pleased with the work they performed for him and I am equally as impressed. I had a water mitigation issue om my Western facing home requiring a flashing that was forgotten 6 years ago when the Deck was redone, they showed up exactly on time, performed the work of removing decking, siding, installed the flashing and replaced some dry rotted trim and put it all back together, caulked and were done in 3 hours at a cost slightly below the estimate. I couldn't be more pleased. These guys are good!

Side Pros was great to work with all the way from the estimate to the finished project. They were good at explaining the project each step of the way. They showed up every day at 8 am and worked until 4 pm, no not showing up one day or leaving early. We ran in to some problems with rot under the old siding and they gave us an estimate to do the repairs with the warning that they wouldn't be the cheapest but that they would make sure it was done right. We were more than happy to pay for a job well done.
