Shield Roofing installed a new roof late last year for me and it was the most professional service I have had from start to finish with a roofing company. I was emailed information about how the process worked and it was very clear and concise prior to the contract being signed. The roofing team at Shield Roofing was very thorough throughout the entire process. including going around my yard multiple times with a magnet to pick up any unwanted, nails or screws that may have dropped off during the installation. What I also found exceptional is that their standard shingle is an impact resistant, class 3 shingle which will qualify for discounts under most homeowners' policies due to it being a higher-grade shingle that withstands server weather in our area better than a standard Architectual shingle. I highly recommend if you are in the market to replace your roof that you call Shield Roofing!

Junior with Shield Roofing went above and beyond for us! Shield was replacing part of our roof damaged by a storm and Junior went through our insurance claim paperwork and explained everything to us so we could actually understand it. He was very responsive to all of our questions and very patient with us. The crew did a nice job and cleaned up meticulously when they were done.

After we contacted the insurance company, he worked hard to come to an agreement with them since there was some depreciation since it had been so long. I called Shield Roofing when their name appeared as a recommendation on my towns Facebook page after a recent hailstorm. I called the phone number listed and was told to expect a call from Deven Phillips. I received that call from Deven in less than 30 minutes and he was at my house later that day. During Devens visit for the roof inspection, I inquired about some siding and facia that was in bad shape. First, let me say Deven is an invaluable member of this team. He demonstrated the highest level of proficiency and knowledge not just in the roofing industry but in the overall exterior of my home. His customer service and communication skills are impeccable. After discussing my options with Deven I opted for a full siding replacement. I have nothing but good things to say about this experience and the job that was done. Deven was in constant contact with me every step of the way and he encouraged me to contact him with any questions or concerns I had prior to and during the siding install. The installers were friendly and did an excellent job of cleaning up at the end of each day. I am 100% happy with the new siding and will not hesitate to contact Deven again for any of my exterior needs. The roof replacement is next - review will follow.

I found myself needing to hire a roofing contractor after a tornado came through my small town and caused a lot of damage. After experiencing something like that and then seeing all of the damage to not only your own property, but to your entire town is extremely overwhelming. I had no clue where to begin. Deven Phillips from Shield Roofing was there from day one. He educated me on the whole process…from basic structure terminology in my estimate to the whole insurance process. He was very precise and clear with every question that I had. I was however, raised to believe that it is always best to get a second opinion. So before I signed with Shield Roofing I actually had a different roofing company come out and give me a second estimate. I won’t mention who it was, but it was a supposedly reputable company. The guy was very nice, talked a good game, seemed very reasonable…but then his estimate came. He was trying to get away with doing half the work, for all the money that my insurance company said it would cost. If Deven Phillips from Shield Roofing had not explained what some of the terminology in my estimate was, I would have never known. I’m very glad that Deven was here. Not only did he do everything that he said he was going to do, the crew that worked on my roof did an amazing job and were extremely respectful and professional. I recently completed a home remodel. One of my dreams was to have a full exhaust system for my stove, which meant pipes were added through my roof for venting. Shield roofing was so seamless in the process of ensuring my roof vent was added and SEALED. They were in and out, with no disruption to me or my family. Update 5/9/2024. We had hail damage recently and called on Shield to help us out. I can say I have never seen what I saw in their process that was amazing. The morning the job began, the crews came out and installed netting around the perimeter of my home. I've have a few roofs in my life and to be honest, never have I seen this type of attention to detail and care they put into protecting my dwelling. I am over the moon happy with the end result and would recommend Shield to everyone looking for a new roof - (see picture)

Uriel was very easy to work with after calling him when noticed a small water leak by the interior front door. He fixes the very small holes in the valley of our roof for free! We were not expecting that, but very good customer service & we will use Shield Roofing in the future & refer to our friends & family!!

The whole crew was very good! They showed up when they said they would and got it done very quickly! Uriel made everything easy for me and I didn't have to worry about anything! The whole process was done in a week and the roof was on the house and detached garage in a day and a half. They even repaired my neighbor's roof at the same time. I highly recommend them!

Replaced gas water heater roof vent that blew off in a wind storm, and in addition sanded and painted the metal stack, and though not requested, resealed around roof flashings. They were on time, courteous, did a repair job that was not really in their main business services when I could not find any handyman to do the work. Without question this company will be the first I will call when I need roof or gutter work done.

Shield repaired our towns little library with roof flashing, gutter guards and rain diverters! They were great to work with, honest & our final price was cheaper than our bid! Totally recommend them!

Uriel and his team were extremely professional and easy to work with. They went above and beyond to provide excellent quality and customer service. Just one example is that they took it upon themselves to replace several sections of the facia that had water damage then had the paint color matched and touched it up, all without me having to ask.

I called for an estimate, the gentleman was very professional and briefed my husband on what we would need. My husband learned so much just talking to him. A full roof repair was needed, thank you Shield Roofing! He gave us an estimate that was less than the three other companies we got bids from.

My camper needed it’s roof completely replaced. The same gentleman TPO’d the entire roof, around three vents, the AC unit, and the Antenna. No leaks to this day!

Recently, our roof was damaged indirectly from a fallen tree in our backyard. Through a recommendation, we called Shield Roofing. It was my first time dealing with insurance to cover my roof and Deven from the company worked with me and guided me through the whole process. He told me what money was coming to me after the work was done. No one tried to scam me out of insurance money or anything like that.

These guys are a great group of people that do excellent work, but I think the best part of it all was that, whether it was Deven or Uriel or anyone else from the company that met me in person, they greeted me with a hand shake. Call me old fashioned, but that really speaks to me about the character of people I meet.

Shield roofing came out and installed a new roof, new guttering, and fixed the chimney for my grandmas home. Devin did a great job in connecting my grandma to Uriel since she only speaks Spanish. Shield Roofing had great communication before, during and after the installation of our roof due to a hail storm. The professionalism of not only the owner, but the crews that removed/installed our roof and gutters was not comparable to any that I’ve seen before. The crew for the roof was in and out in the same day, they also took a large magnet and ensured that all the nails that might have dropped were picked up, which one who has little kids I greatly appreciate!! The gutter crew was also in and out in one day, they also cleaned up after themselves! All the crews / people involved in the installation / removal of our roof and gutters also interacted with my kids when they asked questions!! Shield Roofing completely redid my non brick chimney. The house is over twenty years old and the chimney was starting to have issues. We had some minor damage after a storm. Uriel fixed it for less than my deductible. While we were on the roof, I mentioned that the light fixtures in one room would drip during heavy rain. He knew what the problem was, and fixed the flashing around our chimney that had been poorly installed prior to the purchase of our home. I can’t even tell where the damage was anymore! Uriel does great work!
