Richard and John were on time, very professional got right to work and even did a few extra things the estimate did not call for. They worked continually for 5 hours and then cleaned up wonderfully. I hardly knew they had been there… except I had beautiful new gutters!
Thank you!

Mike and his crew were a pleasure and easy to work with. He always answered the phone and texts with any questions I had. Very professional, clean, hard working guys. Did an immaculate job on my roof the way I wanted it done. They figured it would be done in 6 days but it only took 5. I highly recommend.

Sherpa Roofing was one of two roofing companies that a highly regarded construction company recommended to me for a very large and complicated roof replacement. Robert, the owner of Sherpa, was very responsive, and clearly and honestly described what work needed to be done and what it would cost. Because of his clear competency and professionalism in the bid process, I chose his company to do the work. His construction/roofing crew was very capable and professional as well. My roof looks fantastic and every little corner and crevice was attended to in the re-roof. I highly recommend Sherpa Roofing.

We had a fantastic experience with Sherpa. They were our fifth and final bid and we are beyond pleased with our new roof and gutters. The amount we were charged was more than fair for the work and time taken. (About five days)

Robert was our direct point of contact and let us know what was happening throughout the entire process. He answered every question I had in person (He came and personally checked on the job daily) and was available by text or even by phone.

A few other things about Robert and Sherpa that really stood out were they stood by the promises they made: A very clean worksite and immaculate care of our property.

I would not hesitate to use Robert and Sherpa again years down the road. They will take care of you. One last thing. Don't forget to take care of the guys putting in the long and backbreaking work. An ice chest and some cold Gatorade will go a long way!

This company's website says they do roof repairs. I have a raised seam metal roof that was leaking over the covered porch area during the heavy rain we had a couple of weeks ago. Sherpa scheduled an appointment with me on October 4th. I get an email well after the appointment time that says they double booked and needed to reschedule. So we did, for Tuesday the 10th. I text the guy 30 minutes after the scheduled appointment time, he says he hadn't received my address, I told him I had replied to his email on the 4th with my full address as well as having given it in my initial communication with the company. He said he wasn't close, but could come later. I text him an hour and a half later, he says he's still not close but can come by . I text again in an hour and ask him if he's coming, he tells me that they don't actually do repairs, that someone named Troy had contacted me (I have never heard of, or from, anyone else in the company) and they referred me to a roof cleaning company that sent me a bid that said: 'We'll replace some rusting screws but will not guarantee this will fix the leak but it's the only thing we'll try'.

I'd suggest either being honest with potential clients up front, or perhaps referring them to a company that actually has some experience in diagnosing and repairing roof leaks.

Amazing job start to finish! Mike is very knowledgeable, personable, and stayed on top of our project start to finish. We knew exactly what to expect from the beginning of our project. Our crew arrived when expected every day, and were very professional and respectful of our home and neighbors. Amazing workmanship, would absolutely recommend Sherpa Roofing.

Robert and his team were a delight to have complete our roofing work. They did a complete tear off of the old roof, replaced plywood where needed, installed new gutters and repaired water damaged soffits. They even came back to do a bit of touch up based on a conversation we had at the final walk-thru. We appreciated their professionalism, straight forward approach and focus on making sure we are happy.

Top notch and professional service from the initial contact to the completion of the job. Mike explained the process and choices to me, plus answered many questions. The crew was hard working and polite, really knew their work. My new roof and gutters look great. The job only took 2 days. The area was thoroughly cleaned up afterward. Mike checked in with his crew and me each day. I will definitely recommend them to friends and family.

I interviewed 3 roofing companies to repair and replace our aging roof in Woodinville. We chose Sherpa not because they were the least expensive, but because of their attentiveness to detail, communication and work product. The roof installation was great, timely and professional. However, 2.5 years later, we sprung a leak. We notified Sherpa, immediately, after hours, of the problem. They called back within an hour. The following morning, they had a crew out to identify the issue and repair. GREAT WARRANTY SERVICE. This is precisely the type of roofing company referral that I employ as a full time realtor! You can’t afford not to use Sherpa! Smit in Woodinville.

Sherpa Roofing & Construction replaced our 25 year old roof in August of 2022. The process was excellent from project inception to completion. Their recommendations on roofing materials and color choices were spot on which made for an excellent outcome.

Mike, Robert, and their crews know their business. They use quality materials and have great attention to detail. Any construction project is going to have its challenges, but Mike and Robert are there until the job is done right and the job site is cleaned up.

We highly recommend Sherpa Roofing & Construction because they are honest, professional, and deliver a superior product at a competitive price.

We had Sherpa Roofing out in September to replace our roof with a new standing seam metal roof, install skylights, and replace our gutters. Throughout the entire process the Sherpa team exceeded our expectations in every possible way: they were on-budget, prompt, easy to communicate with and transparent about the process, they laid out the different options and helped explain the different tradeoffs and, when it came to the installation, they were on-time, their work was top-notch and the installation was super clean.

We would use Sherpa again in a heartbeat for any of our roofing needs. However, with the quality of their work I doubt we'll need to work with them anytime soon. You owe it to yourself to talk with them; you won't regret it.

We discovered roof damage from a storm that required fixing before rain season. After getting several quotes I chose Sherpa. Ultimately I not only fixed the repair but updated all the roofing and the gutters on the property and they also removed a damaged carport as part of a single job. These changes will make a huge impact on the quality of life at home, thermal efficiency and cost of utilities. I love my new energy star rated Silver Birch roof and experiencing a rain storm without a water wall from the gutter is an entirely new thing. Its a palpable difference having a roof and gutters made in this millennium LOL.

Sherpa wasn’t the cheapest or the most expensive. All of the licensure‘s and specs checked out beautifully, but the biggest selling point was the service. The conversations for information on the product lines and the opportunity to discover the variables without pressure made a significant impact on my ability to make the proper choices and move forward for the best outcomes within my budget. And that’s exactly what happened. The lead installer was awesome to work with too. I couldn’t be happier... which is exactly what you would want to say after spending the kind of money that it takes to do a job like this.

Hopefully I’ll never have to do this again in my lifetime, but if there’s any issues with it I know who I’m going to call and I know they’ll stand behind their work. I would highly encourage you to give them a chance to bid on your project.

I had the very good fortune and distinct pleasure of contracting, completion and financing of my first-ever roof replacement through Sherpa Roofing. Robert and Mike were helpful, professional and caring in trying to get this project completed amidst the many hurdles of the COVID-19 interruptions, placing an efficient, courteous and neat crew in my neighborhood, with quiet efficiency, completing the job in less than three days. I have had a number of compliments from neighbors, most notably about the distinctive color and high pitch profile of the finished project. I want to thank Robert for the color suggestion and Mike for working with the lender to help me through this upgrade to appearance and value of our property.

Make sure you give these wonderful community members a shot your project. You'll be glad you did.

On time and on budget, and with a super competitive bid to boot.
One couldn't really ask for more from a roofer than that, but on top of it, the team was friendly, fast, polite, and clean.
Wow... I feel like I won the lottery with this referral.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
