We met Serg and Nataliya in early spring of 2020. We knew we wanted to make the move to Lake Tahoe, and were interested in making it happen as quickly as possible. Building a house from the ground up in our ideal location seemed like a dream come true- but we were skeptical it would be possible in a realistic timeline, and with the quality we’d expect for a long term home.

The more time we spent understanding the SHEMSS approach and style, the more comfortable we felt with jumping in headfirst. We made the decision to work with them and never looked back.

We’ve now lived in our house full time for a year and three months, and have only come to love it even more than when we first stepped inside. They are an amazing couple and business, and I’d recommend working with them wholeheartedly to anyone in the market.

Nataliya and Serg are the power duo - Nataliya helped us secure a lot that wasn't on the market and pushed all of our permitting through while Serg worked with us on the plans and interior/exterior finishes. If something was not up to their standard, they took it upon themselves to replace or upgrade the finish. They sent us videos and pictures every step of the way and communicated directly with us as the homeowners. We are so thankful to have worked with them to build our dream home in South Lake Tahoe and would love to do another project with them. I highly recommend Shemss for both a new build or renovation.
