I wanted to take a moment to share my extreme satisfaction of how C. Joe Rovenstine's office handled my roofing claim.
I was very happy with Ben Rovenstine's assistance and the handling of our roofing claim. The Shelter roofing adjuster and contractor also possessed a solid understanding of correct building practices and handled all my requests professionally and to my satisfaction. The roofing crew was very skilled and organized is such a way that the job was expedited and completed with no down time or delays. They also cleaned up the work site very well.

I highly recommend Shelter Insurance and the Rovenstine insurance agency.

I appreciate shelter insurance for all their help. The rovenstine family really care and have been a blessing in my life.

2024 update well took FIVE years and hiring an attorney to get fairness but we did get paid. If only they would've done the right thing and paid five years earlier we could've saved the home and rebuilt / fixed the fire damage instead of getting louted all the metal and wiring and HVAC stolen then the elements water and weather damage. Main cause was corrupt Ramona Police a chief mad because we wouldn't sell property to him. Well 2024 also found him the Police Chief David Shawn Lund got caught up on his scandalous lawless behavior, stealing from the people he swore to defend. Update... words can not express how frustrated and disappointed I am with this shelter insurance and agent in bartlesville Joe Rovenstine. I'd known joe for over a decade and paid my insurance premiums on time year after year then one dreadful day I was notified one of our rental properties had had a fire. We were so glad nobody was hurt but saddened at the loss as this wasnt just a property to us we actually obtained it from a family member that had passed and we spent a lot of our own hard earned money repairing it and updating it just recently and enjoyed going there as it had several good memories of family. We recently had entertained the idea of selling it ti neighbor so they could have their daughter live close as they were getting older. They were one of the few we would consider such sale and let me add the sale amount was much more then we had structure insured for. Mainly had insurance for the liability incase anyone was ever hurt on the property we'd be able to help any injured party. Well from the start things seemed like although we had loss the insurance small amount of money would allow us to repair and fix the home. Then for reasons we believe we were singled out. Then the lies and deception and even socially besmirching our name and local construction business by falsely casting a shadow of wrong doing on us. Shelter even hired private investigators and an attack dog attorney that made our lifes anything but comfortable and tried to simply just run us off rather then pay the small amount covered in the policy. I'm sure they have spent way more then that amount and we still havent reached a conclusion. We've had to submit mountians of finicial paperwork completely not related to the incident. We have been lued to countless times and misled and had to hire an attorney and spend ojr own time and money traveling hours to take depositions and meet with their investigators all to be told another lie after lie.

If their providing shelter it's only for them and to pad their pockets at the cost of hurting good hardworking people being tricked .

What else can I say except this insurance company actually cares and is straightforward and honest with you .... ...that says a lot these days when most insurance companies are anything but
