I have used Sharp Roofing several times for my cedar shake roof. In every instant they have been response & professional. Their estimates are reasonable & they do not include unnecessary work, & their work is fabulous. I am also a real estate agent & I recommend them highly! Don’t call anyone else!

From initial quote to clean up the team did a great job. Very responsive and excellent communication. Very happy with the work and results.

My husband and I called Sharp Roofing for an estimate on a total roof replacement on our 4-plex. Dan Gibson met us at the property and promised a call back within a week with a full estimate and recommendation. He not only did not call us back but has not returned our phone calls to him. Would not recommend working with this company - communication is key to any business and it is obviously not their strong suit.

I was very pleased by the services rendered by this roofing service company.  They quoted reasonable prices and finished the work within the set timeline. The team was highly professional. They cleaned up the premise post work each day. I would surely recommend them to others as well.

Cliff Hurn came out to evaluate my roof (flat roof on a 2 year old construction that I purchased new) after I found some soft spots on the roof. I was unsure if this was due to normal settling or represented defective workmanship. Cliff gave me his honest opinion and spent a lot of time leading me through the materials used for roofing, how they are applied and why this was likely an unconcerning finding due to building settling.

I really appreciated his demeanor, his patience in teaching me and how he didn't try to swindle me into repairs that my home didn't need. If you want an honest company to evaluate your roof, this is the place!

We had a terrific experience with Sharp Roofing and would highly recommend them to anyone. They were very helpful in determining what kind of roof/vents would go best with our house. The roofers were friendly and professional. When we had questions, the staff were quick to respond. A+!!!

During the re-roofing process, questions were answered in a timely manner, and issues with payment processing were fixed and taken care of without issue. Somethings did not get explained prior to installation, and changes needed to be made during the process (which were done without issues). Still don't like the looks of the vents on the front of the roof, wish it could have been done differently. Was told that someone would come out 6 months after installation to check on the work, and there has been no such check up a year later.

Cliff and his team of people are great to work with! They have done two roofs for us. There service always is beyond expectations.

I had a very positive experience with Cliff Hurn of Sharp Roofing. Cliff was amazingly receptive in listening to the issue, analyzing the issue just over the phone, scheduling the time to come out in a reasonable timeframe, and repairing the roof leak thoroughly.

Honest, knowledgeable, and very helpful. He came to look at a roofing issue I had and told me that I actually didn't need to have it worked on; that I could spend a lot on it but I didn't need to.

Cliff really went above and beyond for me. I requested a bid to repair or replace the cedar shake roof for a home we are under contract to purchase. He took the time (same day I contacted them) to look over the inspection report, make notes on the sections regarding the roofing and informed me my roof just needed a good cleaning. He even provided recommendations on who to use for the cleaning and gave me helpful tips about the roof as well.

He didn't try and sell me a $50,000 replacement that would have been premature and that tells you something about this company. Roofers are often known as not being very honest, especially when a 50k sale is on the line.

I will be certainly be reaching out to them when it is time to have the roof replaced.

We met with Cliff yesterday to do our roofing certification. He is an outstanding person and did a great job for us. He didnt just tell me what he found, he explained the reasoning behind why specific items on the roof are relevant. He also explained proper care and maintenance to us so we know how to take care of our roof to get the most years out of it. He is an extremely knowledgeable and professional individual. He is also very personable and a joy to talk to.

I contacted Sharp Roofing to get an estimate for a commercial property right before Labor Day weekend. Within minutes of calling, Cliff emailed me letting me know he was working on the bid. He went to the property and gave us an estimate right away. I would recommend Sharp Roofing to all my clients and friends. I had sharp roof come out for a possible leak and they responding quickly and accommodated my schedule. They inspected my roof and concluded that it was not a roof issue put a leak in the cement top of the chimney. They did NOT charge me and gave me a reference for a chimney guy. Wow!! We were in need of a new roof in order to close our house deal. Cliff was quick to respond with a competitive bid, which we accepted. His knowledge and honesty is apparent and more than expected. In order to close on time, we needed the roof installed and finished sooner than Sharp's schedule allowed but Cori did not hesitate to see what could be done. I was prepping to sell my home that had a 16 year old cedar shake roof and was given Sharp Roofing's information by my realtor. I was seeking an inspection to understand the state of the roof, whether there was any remaining life to it, and to verify no leaking had occurred. The owner of the company responded promptly to my inquiry and offered to come out and visit my home the same day and he provided a detailed report with images a few days after. A few weeks later at my request, Sharp was able to provide a roofing certificate to aid in our sale. I have been pleased by Sharp's responsiveness and level of detail. I'd happily use them again and recommend them.

I requested a quote for some roofing repairs, and Cliff was really quick to reply with lots of detail. I feel confident in his quote, and I am impressed with Sharp Roofing's customer service.

Sharp sent us a team that blew my mind. They take "hard working" to a whole new level. They were also courteous and so focused on the task on hand. Efficient is another adjective that is hard to use nowadays and this crew reminded me of that word! On top of that, they left our premises pristine - I personally saw them going around the perimeter several times to make sure there were no debris left behind.

In my 30-some years of career as admin assistant, I have worked with manufacturing companies and manual labor crews and I cannot recall any like the team you sent us. Most decidedly, you will be recommended repeatedly.

Our house was built by my father and has a distinctive design. We wanted to keep the design features but eliminate the built-in gutters. Sharp noticed that we needed additional insulation so recommended adding to the roof. This raised the roof surface enough to accommodate conventional gutters without changing the overall look of our home.

The did an excellent job. Near the end of the project they had a small bit more to do; Jose stopped by on a Sunday to finish up. We were so delighted we took him and his family to dinner.

The cleanup was excellent. We will recommend to all our friends.

Sloppy Roofing. Not professional. Questionable quality for the money your pay. Do not hire these guys in a rainy season. They rush things, cut corners and do not take care of the material that gets exposed to the rain.

* No supervision whatsoever
* Do not return calls or reply to emails after works has been started
* Only two guys worked on my roof. Sometimes it was just one worker. As the result the site gets messy. When I finally reached the manager, he promised that there will be at lest 3-4 guys on the roof. He lied. As the result it took them 2 weeks to complete (it rained couple days)
* They do not use dumpster and instead try to load all the trash on a small old truck that does not fit everything. Expect piles of trash on the sides of you house and full truck that just sits on your driveway
* Do not bother to cover materials that are on the ground. Plywood got wet and deformed, it was still installed on my roof
* Did not install plywood clips that are in contract and Cliff talks about their importance on his blog (btw, two boxes of clips were on the site, they just ignored them)
* Did not replace all the flushing and furnace roof pipe (+ they damaged it)
* Master bathroom roof cap was cover with plywood (probably because one day they worked after 9pm in complete darkness) and duct buried in insulation.
* Other bathroom vent duct was just placed under the roof cap and was not connected at all
* When replacing skylights, they dId not bother to remove dirt and glue from the sticker on inside glass, and it is almost impossible to clean since it is very high. They also damaged drywall from inside.
* Dumpster truck, van and worker's personal car leak oil. Watch out for your driveway!

Luckily, they came back to address issues after I inspected the work myself (yes, prepare to get on the roof and attic since they do not have supervisor!). Unfortunately, they were not able to reconnect master bathroom or fix plywood clips problem.
I asked for a discount, site manager told me they are working on updated invoice. After 4 weeks I got call from Cliff who was surprised they did not get paid yet. I am curious if manager even talks to his boss at all or I was just simply ignored. Next I got call from bill department. I tell them my story again. Silence for another two weeks. Finally, after 2 month I got new invoice with $1000k discount (7%) + apology from Cliff. Paid just to get these guys off my back.

I am glad they out of business. Found they damaged and improperly installed gas’s vent. It was venting into the attic and now I have mold.
These idiots cramped 6inch vent into 5inch vent with a hammer and couple crews. What a POS company.
The company that bought them does not honor warranty

I thought my roof needed to be replaced. I'm always battling moss and it looks terrible so I called on 3 roofer to come take a look. Only Cliff at Sharp Roofing said I could just clean up the moss and go another 5 to 10 years and the composite shake was actually in ok shape. In addition to this honesty, their bid was way lower. Kudos to Cliff and Sharp Roofing! You will be doing my roof when the time comes.

After calling three other roofing companies to come and inspect a leak and give me a quote, none of them showed up for their appointment. Frustrated, I went onto Yelp and found Cliff. We had to play phone tag for a bit, but he kept working with me until we found a time he could meet me at my house during my lunch break, and was waiting when I got there! Quick inspection revealed an issue with the previous roofing install, which I was able to go into the attic and verify, Cliff spotted it right away from the outside. A replacement was suggested, although he offered a partial re-roof, he also quoted the full roof. The price was more than reasonable (about $1k-$2k less than other estimates, for better quality materials). He said I would be contacted within 2 weeks to schedule a date, they were booked out about 3 weeks. The next day, I received a call from the scheduler, asking if that weekend would work, they had an opening in the schedule. The workers showed up on Friday, and by Sunday they left my property in better shape than they found it, with a new roof. I couldn't be happier with the price, the speed, or the service. Highly recommended.

I want to let you know how pleased I am with my roof. The roofs on our house and garage look great. They just survived the big wind storm without a single shingle lost. Your company did a great job.

A few days before Thanksgiving my roof started leaking into the house. It was big wind, big rain, and 3 pans catching rainwater in my house! Cliff came out right away to see if he could give me a quick fix that could last a few days, but the rain came back in. He sent his team the same day and they secured the roof with a huge tarp so that we could evaluate the issue, come up with a plan, and fix it for good.
