Yall quoted me 900$+Tax to clean one couch today. I found another company that will come clean it for 160$. So it’s incredibly obvious you guys were trying to rip me off. I’ll make sure to recommend Service Master to people and not you guys lol. Really bad look for yall.

We hired servpro to sanitize our sewage leak under our porch. I want to emphasize the word "SANITIZE", because my wife and I had already cleaned the sizeable mess ourselves. We spoke with a rep over the phone. They explained it would be a $250 dispatch fee and given our particular situation "NOT TOO MUCH MORE", I expected $100-$200 more. The final invoice was $600.

I could make this much more long winded but the long and the short is make sure you get a WRITTEN QUOTE from these people prior to hiring them. Seems they like to take advantage of hardworking folks in their most dire times. After calling and discussing the matter and how underwhelmed I was by the "work" done they are giving us 20% of the bill. The numbers to me still don't add up being in the trades myself.

I know their HR dept will reply to this review. Please don't waste the effort.

Servpro you have failed my family and I!
Your initial scope you showed up,
Some of your crew was wearing shorts. Unprofessional.
Your crew also walked into my garden, when there is a clear path. Treating people’s houses with respect should be top priority.
My main disappointment is how your crew lacks empathy for families who are going through the hardest time of their lives.
My family and I had a house fire before Thanksgiving. In our fire we lost every single thing, including our fur babies. I expressed to the crew how I wanted to save our Christmas tree. Holidays are important to me. I was told no but then your crew proceeded to SHOW me pictures of their newly decorated tree. Did you forget, I lost EVERYTHING? your crew also wanted to tell me “insurance will replace it” and talk to me about prices of new trees as if I’m in a position to be buying anything. Insurance doesn’t kick in, and the lack of empathy there was heartbreaking. Over the next few minutes I continue to hear your crew make comments about how all of our things are trash, that it’s a good way to “declutter “. Thank you for being very judgmental.

They did a great job getting in and drying everything but the way they left the house and did things were super disrespectful. I couldn’t find an email to contact them so this is going up here instead I guess.
Team 1, 2/24
- instead of asking for help they moved our doors and collapsed one of our storage shelves that had a ton of stuff in/on it.
- Also threw a bunch of stuff in a pile on the floor including a large stand heater and box fan which cracked (neither were ours either)
- Didn’t ask where we wanted the doors and they put them so I couldn’t get to my side of the bed or the bassinet for my baby
- Didn’t drain the lines or tell us we needed to keep the hot water on so it ended up back flowing through the out hose and filled up the tank which caused more flooding in the middle of the night that we had to call the fire dept for
- Took the old tank out and had to put it back in because they saw that the out hose was leaking every where (got all the way outside with it and came back in then realized which caused more flooding into our room) so they reconnected it. Then looked around for the shut off and couldn’t find it (cause it doesn’t exist since its back flow through the out tube) and told us it would stop leaking soon and there was no way that it could fill up the tank. See above for the results of that decision.
- Threw all the baseboards outside on top of other stuff instead of asking where we wanted it
- somehow got Mud on my bed

- Tack strips were left exposed (which I found out when I stepped on one)
- Carpet was left all bunched up
- Fridge was left out because they knocked something behind and couldn’t reach it so they just left all of it
- Screws were left on the ground

Our hot water heater exploded and caused water damage to a bedroom, bathroom and water heater closet. My insurance suggested calling Serv-Pro to assess the damage and repair what needed to be done.
Serv-Pro came quickly and assessed water damage, set up their equipment for drying and came back everyday to reassess how the drying was going. Once it was dry, they quickly and efficiently removed all damaged materials. Erica (the lead) kept us up to date on what was happening each day and answered all of our questions. Once the drying was completed everything moved quickly. We were very pleased with this part of the project. The staff were all friendly and competent.We would highly recommend this section of Serv-Pro.
Our less than pleasant experience started with the rebuild. That department sucked. They would set appointments to be here and wouldn’t show up. At first they would call and let us know that they were going to be late or not able to make it at all. Then they started not showing up and not calling. At one point it was several days before we were able to get in touch with anyone to find out what was happening. This would have been much worse if we weren’t retired and not on a strict schedule of working.
However, having said that, we were very pleased with the guys that did the actual work and the finished project.
I would recommend using Serv-Pro to mitigate and remove the damaged areas but hesitate to recommend the contractor for repair.

On October 27 we had a serious flood. 3 feet of water in our basement. 2 inches of rain in 4 hours was too much for the storm system. Many others had similar troubles. When I called, a great customer service rep tried to get me some help. I asked for a pump and within 3 hours a pump was delivered.

Unfortunately it was too small for the job. When the bill came, a rep from ServPro called me to make sure it was correct. When I mentioned that the pump really wasn't helpful, ServPro wrote off the entire bill. Thanks for doing the right thing. Quick response and correcting an honest misunderstanding.....I recommend their service!

We had a water damage issue in the attic of one of our units. This was in a difficult space and SERVPRO took care of the remediation after we fixed the leak. They were very professional and worked with the residents so they could stay in their unit. They were clean and were a pleasure to work with. On October the 1st, 2023 the first floor of my commercial building was inodiated with over 22,000 gallons of water due to a water system failure. I was on vacation and it was Sunday morning when I received the call from, as you can expect, my very freaked out tenant informing me of the disaster. After he got the water shut off, I called my assistant manager (I was in Saint Louse at the time and could not be there to help). He recommended we call SERVPRO immediately to help us with this emergency. He had previous excellent results from this company in exactly the same emergency situation as my build was in. We called them and they where there in less than three hours with a full crew, a truck for removing wet damaged material and equipped with all the necessary water mitigation tolls needed to get the job done. Jack, my manager, said he was so impressed with their take charge and organized methodology. Having them their calmed everyone down. They worked into the evening. With the help of Jack, the assistant manager, the other building owner the tenant and his wife and two kids SERVPRO made it possible to get my displaced tenant set up in a new office on the third floor. They also removed all the standing water, remove the damaged flooring, set up over 30 fans and dehumidifiers. Having SERVPRO there gave us peace of mind. . Thankyou SERVPRO.

We had a wonderful experience with SERVPRO of Whatcom County. After an initial inspection for a new home revealed some mold, we had Jenn and Cameron come out and do a thorough inspection. After checking all of the areas, we were pleased that they came back to say they did not find any moisture or anything else they felt needed to be remediated. In this day and age I feel like so many companies take advantage and just want the money. It’s rare to find companies you trust and that want the best for the people in the community. I would recommend their services to anyone looking for honest answers. Will absolutely use them in the future.

Several Servpro employees,men were standing at the back their Servpro work truck in the parking lot at Mt Baker imaging smoking cigarettes.
I'm very sickened by this experience.

I can’t express enough how grateful I am for Servpro and how impressive their entire team was. We woke up with water cascading down three levels of our home and Servpro came out within a few hours to immediately begin drying out our drywall and preventing any mold growth. They came by almost every day for the next two weeks to monitor and assess the progress. Every visit was preceded by a phone call the night before to schedule a time that worked best with our schedule. I have three dogs and every single team member was patient and loving towards them. It alleviated a lot of stress that I didn’t have to worry about keeping them locked away during their visits. I’m pretty sure my dogs are going to miss the Servpro team. Most importantly, Servpro’s communication was top notch. Specifically, Jen from Servpro. Jen made sure we were informed of the steps they were taking, what progress was made and what our various options were. I went into this having no idea what the process look like to prevent mold and significant water damage. I left the experience feeling confident that the steps taken were sufficient to prevent any long term damage. That peace of mind is priceless. Lastly, a special shout out to Jesse from Servpro. He worked incredibly hard and went out of his way to work around my rambunctious dogs in a kind and caring way and was also very careful when hauling in large equipment in and out of my home. I typically don’t leave reviews but I can’t say enough good things about this company. I have never been this impressed before with a service.

It is really hard to go thru a small disaster, but Servpro and all of their employees were the only shining light during the 4 months I was without my home. They took care of everything from cleaning up the water damage to packing and moving all my belongings, to putting my home back together and moving all my belongings back in. And working closely with my insurance company. Ricky, Jesse, Tawni and Erica, Kevin and Nathan went above and beyond. Thank you for everything. I will highly recommend Servpro to everyone I can.

It was after regular working hours our toilet overflowed and we had water everywhere. I called Servpro in Ferndale, WA and a gentleman named Dean came right out. He immediately checked everywhere the water went, pulled up the carpet that was wet and removed the pad. He then placed four dryers, in different areas to dry the carpet. The next morning he was out and they made a tent over the hardwood floor area and place a humidifier under it to dry out the hardwood floor. From that day forward, someone was out almost everyday checking on the hardwood floor and the carpet. We worked with a gentleman named Josh and he couldn't have been more professional. They were great to work with and answered all my questions (and believe me I had many). I would definitely recommend their service.

I called ServPro of Bellingham this morning with a flooded carpet in the building of the non-profit I volunteer at. They were very responsive, sending out a hard working team, Ricky and Chris, who extracted the water from that carpet. Then the owner generously provided fans and humidifiers to make sure the clean up was complete. This experience with ServPro has been great. I recommend them to anyone in need.

I'm surprised by the bad reviews on here. I wanted to share my own experience with SERVPRO of Bellingham... This is an email I sent to the company right after they completed their work..

"I just have to tell you how wonderful it has been working with you all. Everyone I have spoken to or worked with in your company has been so incredibly kind (including you!). Tracy is obviously an expert and was so professional when he came out to the house. The two gentlemen who set up the drying fans did their best to keep the area clean even when they had to remove flooring. They made sure I could still use my laundry room (and with 4 kids, that is a necessity!). Katie, who came out to check on the progress during the weekend, was also fantastic. She gave us updates and was helpful in working around our busy schedule to come out to the house. I would recommend using ServPro of Bellingham to anyone. I am totally satisfied and happy with what you have done for us."

In the email to them, I neglected to thank them in helping us get our claim paid from our insurance company. We had a leak in a pipe in the wall of our laundry room. Our insurance company initially rejected the claim saying that it was "repeated exposure" (whatever the heck that means). SERVPRO was able to document approximately how long the leak had been happening and prove to the insurance company that we were not at fault. We would have been out tens of thousands of dollars if it wasn't for the experts at SERVPRO.

Do not use this company. I made an appointment for them to come out so I took off work. They emailed me on the scheduled day and wanted to reschedule due to snow and wind. What a joke. There were light flurries in the morning with no accumulation. No snow the rest of the day. And for wind, not even a light breeze. The irony was I had to give them my credit card for a deposit to cover their time. But what about my time? I took the day off. You think they would compensate me for my wasted day off?

This was not a good experience:( The fans placed around the boiler, caused a carbon monoxide leak, according to Cascade Gas. Servpro didn't know this could happen which was very surprising. Detectors were in place thank goodness so nobody was hurt. They caused further damage to the otherwise undamaged adjacent kitchen floor by using duct tape which lifted the finish off the otherwise fine cork flooring. Hence the kitchen and living room flooring all had to be replaced. They expressed very little concern when told about this, and it was my insurance that ended up paying for all the new flooring. They were very attentive to their paperwork however, to ensure payment either from me, or my insurance company. I would not use them again, or recommend them to anyone.
