Servpro was responsive and courteous. They initially explained their process for our water leak remidiation during the bid. The actual bid had line items but the description of scope of work was vague.
They were the lowest bid. They did the very least clean up of our crawlspace that obviously needed more done. They fumigated after spot cleaning one leak but didnt get the other one, nor did they address the further cleaning that needed done so they really shouldnt have bothered

I have worked with Servpro for two projects - a residential hazmat clean-up and a large commercial project involving fire, water, and smoke damage. Both projects were lead by Melissa A. at Servpro. Excellent leadership and a team of friendly, dedicated individuals. I would not hesitate to employ the remediation team again.

For the amount of money Servpro charges the quality and organization is pretty poor - we dealt with lost or misplacing items, broken items, and ended today with a lot of our stuff sitting outside on the porch because they had to get to another job and had overbooked themselves and didn't have time to bring our contents inside the house. All records are using pen and paper which also makes everything harder to track. Generally nice people though.

The team came out and did the mitigation work which was fine, but did not communicate that this company branch does not do restoration work, despite the website saying they do (the website comes from corporate apparently which I learned on a call with them afterwards). They have some restoration service, but do not do small jobs, so we are left in this state to figure it out ourselves.

The people that came by did NOT communicate beforehand that they would be removing and disposing of trim, and they could not put back in "pre-damage condition" as their website states.

I question the necessity of removing it in the first place, as the trim directly behind the source of the leak was left in place.

The cost quoted by a separate company to put the trim back and replace missing trim was quoted over $1000.

Consider this when making a decision to use this company.

Leak from the upstairs neighbour 12/23 was my Nightmare Before Christmas. The timing of things (holidays and freezes) and the difficulty nailing down scheduling weren't great (4 stars for the hassle of scheduling). BUT! Once the schedule was sorted, the work was done well and done without more mess or damage to my home. Whilst all the people who came out to work were pleasant, special kudos go to Natasha and Melissa, who made the experience for me. They were both great at their jobs and easy to work with. As the tech leading the demolition crew, Natasha's professionalism made her the best part of an unpleasant situation.

Jesus and his team were incredibly knowledgeable, communicative, hard-working, and efficient when it came to our water damage remediation earlier this week. Prior to their services, I was in high-stress, not knowing how to proceed. After speaking with SERVPRO of Seattle Central, Jesus and his team came to the house to evaluate and prepare for their remediation work. Jesus was not only professional and kind, but meticulous and diligent with his work. I appreciate the skilled labor and calming reassurance that the water damage has been thoroughly cleaned. Thank you! Would highly recommend.

Maggie and Patricia were fantastic. Maggie had great knowledge, honest and very caring. Throughout the clean up, repair, pack out, remodeling. We would recommend ServPro especially if you are blessed enough to have Maggie, Patricia to work with. If you were giving 100 . We would give them to Maggie and Patricia.

ServPro recently helped us remediate and repair a minor water leak in our basement. Every member of the ServPro team went above and beyond to make sure our problem was resolved. Our remediation was complete within days, and they pulled every favor to make sure our repair work was completed by our aggressive schedule. We couldn't be happier.

Our washing machine line broke and we didn't find out about it for 2 days. What a mess! Our neighbor told us to call Servpro. The crew that showed up knew exactly what to do. They were able to save our flooring downstairs and got everything dried out in just a few days. They offered full service and their construction crews made it like we never had a flood. Mike and Will and their team were so great to work with. I would recommend them to anyone!

When we had a major sewage backup, the city inspector said to call Servpro. They arrived promptly and began cleaning the premises and the air, removing all the damaged materials, and decontaminating the affected areas. Special kudos to our project manager, Will C, for his many timely communications with us and his reassuring manner. He helped me get through this disaster with a minimum of stress.

I had a hot water link this past spring. ServPro worked with my insurance to dry out my downstairs and reconstructed back to normal living conditions. Only issue I came across was it was hard to communicate with mitigation team. I found myself calling the office to communicate with them. Other than that, I was pleased with the service ServPro provided and would recommend them again.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?
+-

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
