I had the fortunate experience of having Sensible Choice Contractors recommended to me by my homeowners insurance company. I had a damaged roof and ceiling leak following several storms in the northeast in a short period of time. From my first phone contact with Rob, I was confident the work would be done on time and with expert workmanship. Rob kept me up-to-date with every step of the process including interactions with the insurance company. The removal of the involved ceiling area was done within a contained structure set up inside the room to prevent contamination. The workmen were professional, always arrived ahead of schedule and paid great attention to detail both inside and outside of the property. Rob and Mike have an incredible crew. I would absolutely use Sensible Choice again should the need arise, and I highly recommend them to anyone in a similar situation.

Sensible choice was amazing. They came right away, removed everything after my fire, and started to rebuild immediately. They were very knowledgeable and cleaned up after themselves when they were done. I have no complaints and I highly recommend them.

Ferris at sensible was remarkable. She made a stressful situation of a broken water heater tank much easier to handle. She was very available to calls and text and answered all my questions knowledgeabley . The men that came to handle the project were quick and efficient. I have no complaints. Awesome experience. Highly recommended.

The guys at Sensible are great!! They answered my call immediately and came the next morning at 7am to evaluate water damage stemming from a broken pipe. Very pleased.

Our condo suffered extensive water damage from a massive leak that affected 6 floors in our building. It took months to process all the insurance claims. We were displaced from our home and all of our belongings were placed in storage during this stressful period.
After interviewing several contractors, my wife and I chose Sensible Choice. We are glad we did. In addition to the extensive insurance-related work, we elected to upgrade our kitchen and replace a tub with a walk-in shower.
Mike Bonfiglio, the head of Sensible Choice, was extremely helpful to us throughout the entire project which he completed on-time and within budget. Mike provided valuable guidance on the many choices before us in the planning stage. Whenever any unexpected issues emerged during the restoration, we appreciated how Mike always addressed these in a forthright and expeditious manner. Back in 2017 I had a leak at my house that went from the second floor, through our kitchen on the main floor, and into my finished basement, causing extensive damage. My insurance provider recommended Sensible Choice and I couldn’t be happier. Mike and his crew were very helpful, thoughtful, and did great work on both the restoration and repairs. Definitely would recommend using them

We had a large fire and extensive water damage. It was very overwhelming for my family. These guys came in, helped us with all of our belongings, cleaned up, reached an agreement with our insurance company and our house is better than new and in record time. I highly recommend them for any catastrophic event!! Bravo!!

Horrible company they promise the best and deliver the worst I used them from insurance company I would highly recommend not using them the quality of service is unsatisfactory they use substandard materials are unprofessional and unqualified. If your insurance company recommends them reconsider using them and question the adjuster Stay away from Sensible choice and save yourself aggravation

Do NOT use them!! They entice you with a low quote, but they use shoddy materials. I found this out the hard way. In Oct. 2012, Hurricane Sandy caused a tree to fall & smash our deck. Since the repair is covered by our homeowners' insurance, I called Travelers Insurance Co., who recommended Sensible Choice. Just 6 years later, most of the deck has to be replaced. Why? The wood used by Sensible Choice is all rotted out. A reliable contractor explained that the wood used by Sensible Choice should only be used for indoors, not outdoors. The proper wood for outdoors is more expensive. Using this company is an example of false economy. It cost me $13,000 to learn this. Don't be fooled by them.
