Very good selection in store, as a contractor most of my life I've probably been in hundreds of hardware stores and dealt with many less than friendly assosiates.
However, Darryl is by far one of the most professional and helpful associates I've had the pleasure of doing business with.

Wonderful Customer Service: I actually just had a packaged delivered here and it arrived way faster than anticipated. I spoke with a friendly person on the phone and explained my situation that I wouldn't be in Seaside for another week. They were accommodating and I will gladly find something to purchase here even though I am just picking up a package. Thank you again and looking forward to being your customer.

The folks here have that mentality of "Ace is the place of the helpful hardware man".
Do not confuse them with your experiences at those 70,000 sq foot deep holes, with no staff to help you.

I was going to buy something on clearance, a young man at the register quoted me a price as there was no price tag. I gathered a few more items and by then another man was in his place. I asked him to please contact the other guy so I got the price he quoted, but he said he could sell it to me for 29.99 not the 28.00 I had been quoted and when I asked him about the other price he repeated himself more firmly. I said they could keep the item and proceeded to check out. In the meantime I forgot two items on the floor and when I realized it I mentioned it to him, he rolled his eyes looking at me and said OF COURSE.
I informed him that he was unprofessional and unpleasant and I didn't want them after all.
I don't think I will have any reason to go there while he's working there. He was so rude, so very rude

Ace is probably the best hardware store to visit because each one is unique and has stuff that no other Ace store has. There are usually some souvenir stuff, so it is worth stopping by.

The best hardware store between Warrenton and Nehalem. Everything youd expect at ace and good tool, electrical, and hardware sections.

Staff are helpful and I've found some of the stuff I was looking for. No air friars tho so I guess that was something only available online.

The staff is really friendly and helpful. They have a little bit of everything and if you can’t find it, someone is always there to help you. They also have a farm and garden store right next door along with a bigger pet section.

They'll have almost everything you might need. It's a small town hardware store. Customer service is good. If you're a local and know your face, a couple employees call you by name.

I use this place all the time and I normally love the service. But this time I walked in and asked if they had an item and the guy (bigger long dirty blond hair) looked at me like I was an inconvenience and said you’ll find your item on this isle…. I didn’t ask where the item was, I asked if he could help me find the item I was looking for because I didn’t know exactly what I was looking for or needed. I miss the old customer service where people would walk you to the section and help you find what you need. I miss Dan.

I'm always happy with the service we receive at Ace in Seaside. The employees are always willing to help me find what I need.

Well, went to the garden center. There was an employee who used to work for the local lumber yard. For some reason he has always been disparaging and rudely sarcastic towards me and the company I work for. Needless to say he is very unprofessional. I would not want his negative and complete rude behavior at my business. I will not be supporting ace hardware in the future.

Smaller than my old Ace with less knowledgeable employees. I went for a basic respirator with dust filters but only found the ones with filters graded for painting, more expensive... a lot of the merch are at the "I don't want to sell this" price but Home Depot is right down the street... 5 miles. Great place to find that fastener you only need one of though. Also, three times I've been told by different employees that they don't carry something specific I'm looking for, however when I go looking for it myself I always find it.

All in all great place to find that one thing you need that no one else has just don't ask anyone where something is because they will just send you right out the door.

Searched online for product availabity and went to pick up. Staff is helpful but did not find the product I was lookkng for, but did take me to a similar priduct which suited my needs.
