Quite possibly the worst experience. From the start. The “men” that showed up did not even let me know they were there. You know how I found out? I went to my kitchen to make coffee and there was a full grown man outside sitting on my patio furniture. Always so great to see a random man outside of your balcony in the early hours of the morning.That is sarcasm by the way. If anything, we live in the south and they are lucky I am not some paranoid person that abuses her second amendment rights but, they could easily find themselves in that situation should they do that at the wrong house and it’s irresponsible of the owner of the business not to try and protect his employees by telling them to let people know when you are going to climb up someone’s balcony. But I digress. I then had my friend come over and ask if we needed to move anything out of the way for them. They said just move the bike and the chairs. All good. We did what they asked and then we left. I got home and they were finally at work. Mind you, they were just chit chatting for abt an hour before they did any actual work, but when they did leave not only did they leave a terrible mess and damage to basically everything but they didn’t even let me know. If they had knocked on my door and said “hey so sorry about this, it was in the way and when we moved it broke” I would’ve been understanding and respected them for letting me know, but it’s the fact that these incompetent unprofessionals just abandoned their job. Left a mess all across the balcony. Left damage etc. but of course, when the owner showed up to retrieve his ladder I went out and kindly approached him and he was immediately defensive. The unprofessional and victim attitude that this man child spewed was sickening. There was damage done to things that didn’t even have to be damaged. Like why did they just throw my strawberry plant into the planter box on top of my other plants? They killed all of my plants! These low iq workers even killed the plants in a window planter box which wasn’t even touching the balcony, by placing a heavy object on top of it. Here’s what really upsets me, they broke an important piece of the welding that makes the railing stay in place and safe. They just threw that piece in my planter box. If my son had gone out and leaned on that railing he would have fallen to his death!! How irresponsible can you be? If I hadn’t found that important piece to the structure who knows what could have happened. Now, I can understand the lack of communication on my landlords part as I had no idea they were coming. And according to the owner of this horrific business, everything was to be cleared off my balcony. But again, we asked the workers if we needed to move anything and we moved what they asked before we left. It’s also how they left it when they left.they just made a huge mess and left it behind. Now I know people don’t want to work these days and actually do a job well done. I use to hate people who said that but clearly there are reasons people say that and these men are the reason. Luckily for me, I know almost every realtor and landlord in this town and will be sure to spread the word about this company quickly. My boss, who also owns a huge portion of real estate in this town, said he has never seen such a horrible job. My other friend who also works in construction for over 30 years said this would absolutely never fly and they were either very drunk or extremely lazy. Whatever the case was, I would be cautious about using this company. They are incompetent. They could’ve avoided the damage they did but it was like they purposely damaged it out of spite. Anyway when I approached the owner he was very rude and wouldn’t even listen. Blamed their incompetence on everyone but his horrible employees. Like I said, if they had knocked on my door and let me know what happened I would’ve been totally understanding and forgiving. It’s extremely shameful to leave a job the way they did. It’s disrespectful and outright lazy.
