Amazing and accommodating folks. Hit a deer and had it towed here at midnight and they were flexible with me and the adjuster. The car was sent to a different location but I appreciate the crew here for helping me out during this process!

DRIVERS BEWARE!!

As much as I hate to blast a small business on Facebook, Schroll's Body and Paint has gone out of its way to prompt this post.

Background: two years ago I had a repair done in which Schrolls repaired this fender flare - including the messed up/mismatched paint. Fast forward two years, and I am back for another repair to the same side.

When the repairs were complete (the second picture) this is what they gave back to me as "repaired." When I complained, Chance (the owner) told me that I could pay out of pocket or get a supplemental claim and they would fix it. When I followed up to get this OBVIOUS problem corrected, they refused to do the work. Yesterday, I recieved this message from the shop:

"After reviewing the photos we took of your Jeep in February, we have decided to return the check to XXXXXX since it clearly did not match before we did repairs in early April. We are not interested in doing anymore repairs to your vehicle. You can talk to your insurance about sending the check to a different body shop.

Thank you,
Ashley Cottrell"

This company is always free to refuse service to anyone, but they are not allowed to do shoddy work, promise to make it right for more money, and then refuse the work AFTER ackowledging the problem needing repair.

Summary:
- the Jeep color is standard 1990 jeep metallic khaki (Chrysler paint code PJ5/HJ5) and should have been easily matchable

- Schroll's did the work that resulted in the mismatched paint the first time.

- Schrolls replaced the molding with an aftermarket molding that does not match up with the original by 1/4 of an inch AND it is improperly mounted/mated to the step molding.

- Schrolls failed to blend the right wheel molding with the step molding

- Schrolls committed to completing/fixing the work upon completion of a supplemental claim.

- Schrolls refuses to correct their substandard work after accepting payment for that substandard work.

Regardless, all anyone really needs to know is that the owners of Schrolls Body and Paint ALLOWED/APPROVED this work out of their shop AND defended their use of ill-fitting aftermarket parts, misaligned molding, and mismatched paint - AND THEN refused to fix their shoddy work WHILE keeping the insurance payment.

From drop off to picking my suv up, this was the easiest process ever! Chance and his team are fantastic. I will not go anywhere else for body work on my vehicles. My car looks brand new after being with Schroll for a week for hail damage.

Had a great experience working with them, a deer lunged into the side of my car when driving one night. They worked directly with my insurance and were very transparent about everything. Repairs are fantastic - as if it didn't happen! Would recommend for sure.

Took a long time to get my car back, parts were seriously back ordered, but they did a great job!

I had another autobody repair shop in the area of Manhattan quote me $800 to completely fix my bumper back to prestine condition. The Clerk of that autobody repair shop said my bumper was beyond repair and it had to be fixed or it would fall off. Mind you I have been driving over a year with my bumper like this.
Schroll Body and Paint quoted me $185 and said it can be fixed. I got my car back and the repair was $143. I am beyond happy with the results, yall did an amazing job. Thanks Chance for listening to me and meeting my needs. I definitely recommend Schroll Body & Paint to anyone that is looking for an autobody repair shop who cares about their customers and wants a good job done.

Have taken several vehicles to Schroll's and the body work is always outstanding. Prompt, straightforward and courteous service makes me a return customer.

I took my car here after I had an accident during a snow storm. They worked with my insurance to get the parts in while still letting my drive my car so I didn't have to Uber as many days. When I got it back, they told me exactly what they did and that they accidently broke my windshield and had to replace it. They did not tell me they broke my headlight though. They even cleaned the other one so it wasn't as noticeable immediately, wouldn't have noticed if they didn't leave pieces in the engine bay. After I left, I noticed a few clips in my wheel well liner were missing and they were quick to get them in for me. I'd use them again.

Schroll is the ONLY place I want my car going to if body/paint needs to be fixed. The guys there work fast, they go above and beyond what they're supposed to be doing, and they're very courteous. Great experience with them for what they did with my car.

My car was involved in a hit and run in February. Schroll’s made it so easy to get my car in and work with my insurance. I have State Farm. Some things happened with the delivery of the parts for my car, so it wasn’t able to be worked on until April 4. The estimated time for repairs was 12-14 days. They got it finished on April 12. I’m so impressed by the work they did on my vehicle. It looks brand new. I also found them to be kind and courteous in the customer service department. Always willing to answer any questions or concerns I had.

Absolutely amazing service! Get work done fast and efficiently. Have had them work on my car twice due to two different accidents and the work has been amazing. Great at communicating with you. Care about you and your car. 5 stars for a happy customer!!

Schroll Auto Body did an excellent job with repairs to my wrap around bumper and matching the paint. Highly recommend them as I have been a very satisfied customer for over 14 years.

The employees at Schroll were incredible. We live out of town and my son had the car at K-State so we did most everything over the phone. They were so easy to work with, prompt with information to insurance company, and the work was completed professionally, competently, and on time. The car looked great! It was nice to have kind and compassionate people with whom to work and I felt like they were honest and very capable. Highly recommend!

They did two fast and free estimates on my hail damage cars. They worked efficiently with my insurance company. The repairs they did looked great and ended up costing less than they'd quoted me. I'll definitely go there again next time i need work to my car's done.

They repaired hail damage to my new vehicle and did a fantastic job! They also fixed a ding I had in my door. The staff that we dealt with were professional and kind. I would absolutely recommend them!

I was in a car accident in December 2019. I had my car towed to Schroll where they took care of everything. I had them do additional repairs that they did a fantastic job on. I just recently had an issue with a repair and they fixed it for me without any problem! They truly are great people! Thank you again!

These guys and gals have worked in my Jeep twice in 2019, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience! They are always kind. Their attention to detail is impeccable and their service is swift and efficient! My license plate was even hammered out so it would fit nicely back onto its holder. Highly recommend. Everyone here has been so friendly through the entire process and got my Jeep done right on schedule :) Very Pleased!

Their service and attention to detail is first rate. My car is a metallic pearlescent white that is exceptionally difficult to color match because it is a three-step process. My car was keyed down the driver side door and fender panel. They were able to repair the damage so that it is indistinguishable from the original paint job. I am impressed that they were able to match the color spot on. I was expecting at least a little deviation under close inspection. They achieved perfection.

I also appreciated that they were genuinely empathetic to my situation and were professional. And they took care of all of the paperwork with my insurance company.

I hope I don't have anything like that happen again. If misfortune finds me again, I know who to trust with my car.

Had hail damage repaired on truck that was in a hailstorm got estimate & took truck in & it was finished in less than two days. They replaced hood &: repaired other damage on roof. They also repaired wife's car when she was hit from behind. Fast service & replaced rear bumper also.

I had a deep scratch in the side of my car and this body shop fixed it beautifully. The people here are incredibly nice and helpful, and I would recommend them to anyone who needed car maintenance. I am not from the area and know very little about cars, but they were able to get me in and finished my car within 2 days, all while being reasonably priced.

Lets use the sandwich technique for this review...

The paint job itself is smooth and nice. However, the paint does not quite match the original paint. The bumper was also not installed correctly the first time. They did eventually correct the improper installation which was good.

Over all go somewhere who does it right the first time.

I was in a car accident on Monday and I got my car back on Friday! They did amazing work! My car looks beautiful, I was given a guarantee on the work, and I am so Thankful for them! They called me, kept me in the loop with everything going on with my car, I am just so blown away with the work that was done. I highly recommend Schroll!!

I took our 2008 Toyota Tacoma pickup in because I'd damaged the driver's door rather badly. They ordered the new door from out of state and had it within 24 hours! They did a wonderful job in removing and replacing the damaged door, painted it perfectly. and the door works like new with a perfect seal. I hardly recognized the truck because they had then washed it so clean. Looks like a new truck! Great service. I highly recommend them.

Just picked up wife's car from Schroll's. The entire process working with Dave was professional. We had been hit by another driver and had work with her insurance. Dave handled all the paperwork. He called us when they had the parts and were ready to begin work. The work was done well within the time frame promised and looks AWESOME! One hopes to never need the services of a body shop. If we do again... and we hope not... we will certainly ask that Schroll's perform the work!

We were extremely pleased with the work that David and his team did for our son's car. They got it done ahead of schedule and my son said that it now even runs better than it ever did. The communication was very good with them and kept me posted on the updates. I have nothing but positive comments on the quality of work and timeliness they on our car.

Needed an estimate from them because I went to a car wash and they scratched my paint and I spoke with Darrell (I'm sitting in the lot right now!) He came out to look at my car as I was explaining the situation to him, he started to state that one was a door ding and the other one was dirt. I immediately told him to stop and I would go elsewhere. He just said OK, and walked away. It was really upsetting, but glad to take my business elsewhere.

This was the 4th estimate I was getting, trying to get a well rounded opinion. However he was not intelligent enough to realize what was dirt and a scratch.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. Took me less than 5 minutes to realize their business was not worth it!

UPDATE NOVEMBER 22, 2015. Janet Schroll commented on my post on their Facebook page, and stated that in her professional opinion it was a door ding, and that she was sorry that it wasn't what I wanted to hear. I then commented that how could she give a professional opinon when she didn't even review my vehicle. She said nothing further, but made sure to delete my post from their page.

My son took his car there for repair. They painted the hood. The paint is blistering and peeling off!!! I have never seen anything like this! They give a limited warranty for a reason... There work is shoddy and very poor!! Avoid this place! When peeling began warranty was void.

While I ended up not needing work done here, I wanted to share the great customer service experience I had a Schroll's Body and Paint. First of all, I called late in the day to get an estimate/ understand how the clear coat damage occurred. I hit some traffic and wasn't able to make it there until their closing time, but I called again to let them know of the traffic and they offered to wait for me! At the bodyshop, the estimator (Who I believe was named David) was very honest with me about the cost to repair the damage and that fixing it would not actually change the value of my car. He took the time to describe how this type of damage usually occurs and gave me some options for patching the damage myself that would save me a couple thousand dollars! So all in all great customer service which saved me a lot of heartache! I'd definitely go here to get work done! Thanks!!
