We needed service on our travel trailer. They were able to get us in quickly, find all the issues, and got them repaired very quickly. They had our trailer for less than a few weeks and we are very happy with the work Nick and his crew provided. The prices were within the scope of what we expected to pay and Nick was very informative and a nice gentleman to deal with. I highly recommend their services for your RV needs, repairs and maintenance issues.

Called and scheduled a state inspection for my trailer. Arrived on the day and time scheduled. Nick had me pull the camper around to the designated state inspection site. He thoroughly went over all of the systems that Virginia requires him to inspect. Once done, I paid the fee and he applied the new inspection sticker. The whole process was efficient and painless. I also met Susan when I first arrived. Both Nick and Susan were polite and professional and seem like nice people. If you are looking for a travel trailer, give them a chance to earn your business.

My wife and I purchased a 2022 Durango Gold 383RLQ from Scenic View RV. The overall experience was great and is also a family run operation. Nick and Susan are easy to work with and are very responsive even after you have purchased an RV from them. When we went to pick up the RV Stewart gave us a very detailed walk through and operation of the camper that took about 1.5 hours. We highly recommend them and will do business with them again.

This is the last remaining legit family owned RV dealers near me. While they sell the same somewhat mediocre thor campers everyone else does, they put forth their best effort to give you a quality experience. We have bought two from them so far and it's quite possible there will be a third.

I looked at all of the large RV sellers for a camper and I searched on line. While searching on line I found Scenic RV in West Point, VA. There was only a couple of reviews posted and they were positive. I typically do not write reviews. However, if you are thinking of buying a camper, this is the place you want to go. Nick and his wife take there time with you and answer all of your questions. They are always available to answer your questions even years after your purchase. What a gem of a dealership! If you want quality, honesty and great experience, this where you need to be. I would recommend Scenic RV every time.

Our camper purchase through Scenic View RV was AMAZING. We found our unit on their website. It was exactly what we had been looking for! We made the hour and a half drive to West Point and met Susan and Nick. They were kind enough to hold the unit for us so we could see it before putting a deposit on it. There was absolutely no pressure to purchase. They allowed us all the time we needed to view the unit and answered all of our questions. They are truly a family run business. I really appreciate all The effort that Nick and staff helped me with a situation on my 2 camper awnings that were blown away in Florida. He went out of his way to complete the estimate for the insurance company to help get my work completed. Due to Coronavirus parts were very hard to get because of factories that were closed down. Loved the fact that I was dealing directly with the owners. Nick and Susan took great care of us during the buying process and, more importantly, after the sale while we were getting used to our new rig. Extremely rare these days to find folks who will go out of their way to make sure you are happy and comfortable in your purchase well after the fact. The whole purchasing process was top notch, but the outstanding, personalized attention after the sale is what really convinced me that we had made the right choice in dealers - even though we had to drive two and a half hours out of our way to do business with them.

Very pleased with experience. Looked into what to what campers world..mc george had to offer they could not get the phone calls right so I never did shop. Price was fair.. Also a family business which I consider a plus.

Nick, Susan and the rest of the Scenic View family made the purchase of our new fifth wheel effortless. This included a trade-in, installation of accessories on the trailer and installation of the fifth wheel hitch in my truck. They worked diligently to get us the best financing and alerted me to potential refunds available from my old camper. All of this while wading through the COVID-19 restrictions.

They are great family owned business and they are great people to work with. We were able to look through all the campers they had available and we weren’t hassled. The best place in Virginia to buy a travel trailer. Including my parents and brother we have bought 5 here in the last 5 years and wouldn't go anywhere else! Ugh...waste of time. First and last time here.
So about a month ago I turned our RV heat on for the first time this winter and was greeted with a loud rattling noise, which I figured is probably just a mud dauber nest in the fan. But without any way to remove the fan myself, and since Camping World is an hour from me, we decided to try a different place and called Scenic View. We were not able to get an appointment for several weeks, which is regrettably kinda normal for RV places, but when we made the appointment we told them we were due to leave to head south in mid December. We called to confirm our appointment last Wednesday (yes, we called them) and left a message but got no call back. Tried again on Friday but didn’t get an answer. On Saturday we called again and the woman we spoke to confirmed our appointment for this morning. We again told them we are leaving in just over a week, and asked if they could look at it while we are there. She told us they may be able to look at it when we drop it off, but if not it’ll be a few days. She even made a point to tell us that they have it scheduled for UP TO a week in case any parts need to be ordered.
So today we pack everything up and drive there. We were initially greeted rather rudely because we came through the “wrong” door. After explaining we had an appointment, we asked if they could look at our unit today. The male then said there was no way they would get to it today, and maybe not this week. He said it would probably be two weeks or so before it would be done. When we explained we didn’t have two weeks because we were leaving town, he said there was nothing they could do. He said they were busy, and “Thanksgiving happened” so now they are backed up.
All total we wasted almost 3 hours, breaking everything down and hooking up, then towing 30 minutes each way, and setting everything back upon our return. And still no heat...
The big issue here, why didn’t anyone bother to call to tell us they couldn’t handle our rig at the scheduled time? And how does a business get surprised by Thanksgiving, to the point they cannot fulfill their obligations? They didn’t answer these questions when we asked, didn’t offer any sort of resolution at all. Things happen, I understand, but at least make an attempt to make it right.

What a great experience! My wife and I are in our mid 30's and love to camp. We had been in the market to upgrade our travel trailer to a fifth wheel for close to a year and a half. We did the whole camping world circus and other RV Dealers in our area and got minimal attention with the majority of dealers not even taking us seriously. Susan and Nick couldn't have been easier to work with and the process from start to finish was enjoyable, efficient and hassle free.

They worked with us on our trade in, completed the all the hitch work from my tow vehicle and did a thorough walk through the day we picked it up.

Susan was great to deal with and made the buying process easy without having to jump through hoops. We were on a tight turnaround time, she was able to get all the paperwork in order for us in a very short period of time and was able to get us a very competitive finance options.

Nick was a great resource to have during the walk through. Nick and his team installed the hitch and showed me inside and out every feature that our fifth wheel had to offer. Since it was my first fifth wheel he took his time answering all my questions and walking me through how to properly set everything up.

It has been about 3 months since our purchase and we have been working with Nick on some warranty issues. My past experience with dealerships (Camping World…just 1 example) has been a complete disaster. Scenic View RV (Nick) has been very diligent in working with the manufacture in regards to getting these warranty claims rectified will little or no effort on my part.

With a lot of dealers trying to nickel and dime you or selling out to Camping World it was nice to deal with a family owned dealership. Not only do they run a great dealership they are just really nice people! Do you self a favor...just go there and see for yourself.
