I am very grateful to have been able to work with Samson. My bathroom reconstruction and dining room floors are spectacular. Both Terry and Chris took the time to provide the best service possible. I appreciate their attention to detail, extreme professionalism, and courtesy. The finished product was beyond what I imagined. I would definitely recommend them for any future project!

DO NOT USE!!! BEWARE: Most unprofessional company I have EVER dealt with.. they leave the customer out of “customer service “. Rude office staff whenever I reached out and then received a lien on my property a month after paying them more than our contracted amount, due to the constant harassment and inability to produce any receipts for me, even though they had not completed the project.. stay away and save yourself a lot of stress, money and time!! I only gave one star so I could post.

I used Samson Construction for the repairs due to a water pipe burst. The Project Manager, Justin Chen did a fabulous job managing the project. He led his crew to complete the project in a timely manner with quality workmanship. I would recommend Mr Chen and Samson Construction.

I have already recommended this company to a relative. They were great to work with when our home had water damage due to a broken water line. We can't say enough good things about Justin and James. They were so very helpful with everything. They have become friends.

I would recommend Sampson Construction. I used them for putting my house back together after having water damage. Terry and Chris were amazing to work with. Their communication and punctuation made the process easier. They were also extremely helpful reaching out to my insurance adjuster. The work they did is also beautiful.

This last Christmas was one to remember, but not for all the right reasons. While sitting around the Christmas tree opening presents on a freezing Georgia morning, the sound of rushing water took us away from the sound of ripping presents. Like so many others in Georgia, we had an outside pipe freeze and rupture directly behind our kitchen cabinets, leading to a flood in our kitchen and dining room.

Our insurance adjuster had a critical response team out within a few days, and the process of getting back to normal started, but what a SLOW process. ServPro was our recommended remediation company, but they were backed up for weeks, just to come out and review the damage. Once they were finally able to send someone out, it was a demo team from Florida who were not licensed to do any repairs, leaving me to try and figure out how to navigate getting repairs done on my own. I decided to call my local ServPro office, and that is when things started to turn around.

Within a few days I got a call from Mike Gordon from Samson Construction asking when he could come out to have a look. Mike spent a lot of time during his initial visit, looking at every aspect of the damage and talking me through options on the best way to handle the repair. At this point, the pipe had not yet been repaired, and Mike was flexible enough to allow me to coordinate a second visit with my plumber to talk through how to fix the pipe without tearing into my whole kitchen, including removing cabinets and granite countertops.

Once we had a plan in place for the most efficient repair, Mike helped me get everything I needed for my insurance company to get a solid estimate, which was not an easy task. We went back and forth for almost 2 months before we finally settled on a price that worked for everyone and the work was scheduled.

This repair required my continuous builder's grade floors be totally ripped out in most of my first floor, and they were glued to a concrete subfloor. Rather than pack up and remove all my furniture, Mike's team came in and repositioned our furniture to allow them to make the necessary repairs and then moved things back to complete the job.

As with any repair job, things come up during the repair process, but Mike was always in communication with me, through text, phone calls, or just stopping by to check on the progress. He held his team to a high standard, and held them accountable to doing the job right. Mike did everything possible to make everything right before we signed off on the job, then once complete, took the necessary pictures and completed the necessary documentation to have my insurance company release my depreciated cost for reimbursement. I won't say this whole process was easy, but it was made significantly easier thanks to Mike and the Samson team. I would not hesitate to recommend Mike and team for any construction needs and will absolutely use them again should the need come up.

Our home flooded due to a broken pipe. The kitchen, livingroom, dining room and basement were damaged and required complete renovations. Mike, Jay and team were wondererful. They were responsive and took care of our home, my husband and I all the way. Their quality of work was outstanding. I can not say enough! I would give Samson 10 stars if I could.

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. Biggest headache working with them. The work on our home has been bounced around to 4-5 different project managers because people either quit or get fired. Its a NIGHTMARE. Stay clear of this company. Its been over 2 years of miscommunication within the management, owners, and the legal dept. All for a job we were told would take 2 months. If you like being called by a legal dept that tries to degrade you when they never actually sent a final bill, then these guys are the perfect company for you! We are still waiting to hear back on what this company plans on doing for the damages made to our home when they were here working on it. Lets see...

I am never one to write a review. I just read them and go off everyone else’s review. However, I felt compelled to write one for this company. I was part of what my insurance company called “freeze frame”, where so many people ended up with busted pipes during December 2022. Insurance was easy to work with, but finding someone to actually come out and do the work was the difficult part. I kept getting the run around from different companies and what felt like a used car salesman speech each time I tried to find someone to fix my basement. Finally, I met Scott and Mike! From our first meeting, Mike stayed in constant communication with me until the job was complete. He personally came out each day to check in to see the daily progress being made. The workers were exceptional, especially Gerard and his son, Scott. Everyone was very professional from the time they arrived until they left. I was very pleased and satisfied with the result. Scott was great about getting me adjustments I needed to submit to my insurance company in a timely manner. Mike was great about letting me know who and when was coming out each day. I’m really glad I went with Samson Construction and highly recommend them.

My project managers Scott R. and Douglas (Red) were awesome. They were both very knowledgeable and thorough . Very responsive and personable. I love my new kitchen and would definitely work with them again .

We had some damage to our roof/inside ceiling when a tree fell through and Samson Construction handled the repairs. Freddie Hughes was our project manager and he far exceeded any expectation we had. Freddie was knowledgeable and friendly while still being professional. They were able to repair our house quickly and in better condition than before the accident. We could not recommend Freddie and his team enough!

After quoting a price higher than everyone else we still went with them due to good reviews. They started the project then tried to increase the price $7k. They finally breached the contract and still have not refunded the money we paid them. Just hired new company and they are $20k cheaper with better quality. Never use Samson.

Scott, was very helpful in regards to handling my project, it was done efficiently and finished quickly. I am very happy with the my new shower and new flooring. Thank you.

Mick Gray did an incredible job for us. We were faced with a challenging situation and a challenging schedule. Mick was accommodating in every way. No problem was to big of to difficult. 35 years in business has taught me that guys like Mick are really rare. Congratulations Samson Construction! You have a great winner and people person in Mick. I am so happy with our house after the reconstruction. Mick put things back better than before with a smile on his face.

Terrible experience from start to finish. In summary, communication is not their strong suit. They take forever to answer emails, text messages, or even return phone calls. It would've helped if they had set some sort of expectations but after months of back and forth and several no call/no shows they finally "fired me" and refunded my deposit. Avoid the headache, price gouging, and find yourself a better contractor that will actually get the work done for you. Elaboration below:

My master bathroom flooded in mid October. I filed the insurance claim immediately. Restoration was done by Servpro and they came in the next day and got everything cleaned up and dried out. Samson sent out their estimater rather quickly but that was about the only positive part. After that, I didn't get an estimate back until mid November and once it was finally done, they dodged and failed to answer any follow up calls with my insurance. Meanwhile I was stuck without a master bathroom and half my kitchen ceiling missing. There were several items on the estimate that seemed really high and honestly could've been self performed for little cost and effort but they rushed me to sign the contract in order to "beat the holidays" and assured me those items would be taken off before the final payment. Fast forward to mid December they finally scheduled a crew to start work and low and behold they didn't show up. After lots of calls and emails I finally got a response days later saying they wouldn't be coming until the following week. Fast forward to January and they still had yet to show up and had the audacity to ask for more money because they had "missed" something during the estimate process. I had enough and was planning to call and cancel the contract but before I could they left me a voicemail on a Friday afternoon saying they were "firing me" due to being difficult to work with. I was told they would refund my deposit within a week but two weeks later I still hadn't seen anything. I called and apparently my project coordinator was no longer with the company and didn't submit my paperwork so I would've never gotten the refund if I hadn't called... like I said before save yourself the hassle and find a different contractor.

Eric Sorrells did a great job fixing our flooring issue. We discovered it after the project was complete and we reached out to have it fixed under our one year warranty. Well, the flooring installers did not reply right away so Eric came out and fixed it himself. Thank you Eric and Samson!

Worst company! We used them via insurance a 3 month project has taken over 13 months. 5 project managers, a sub contractor had a payment dispute with Samson and was going to put a lien on our home, we had permit issues that lasted 6 months. Very dishonest and unprofessional company.

I think one sentence captures my view on working with Samson: If Samson were to offer to remodel my home for free (including materials) I would not let them complete the work.
Reasons include:
1. Dragging a 5-7 day project out for 5 months.
2. Being told in excess of 15+ times a crew or the project manager would be onsite on certain days and no one ever showing up. I was never contacted if something occurred that prevented someone from showing up. It was only after several calls and emails I would get an answer.
3. The project manager (Lou) and his boss (Freddy) not returning calls or emails. Things started to move after the Director of Construction was contacted.
4. Being lied to about material availability – Waited a month for samples that were never produced and given excuses as to why. Ended up contacting the manufacturer directly and able to get samples in 5 business days and confirm availability.
5. Low quality work. I have uneven paint in places, carpet not fully laid correctly and drywall with gaps. Eventually fixed items ourselves.
6. Team did more damage to my home with destroying a washing machine hose line and trying to cover it up with a piece of tape. Of course, it flooded the area and required water restoration/remediation and removing completed work.
7. If you are a woman, I would caution your interaction with Samson. If the project manager or his boss spoke to my husband and I – all info would be given to my husband and I was not addressed. When picking a paint color, the project manager told my husband “women can be so fickle with paint and always change their mind.” I picked a color with 5 minutes and it was never changed. Also, when doing calls with Samson, I was always addressed as “darling” “honey” with a condescending tone.

I selected this company due to the reviews and had a horrible experience from beginning to end. Most communication had to go through emails since we were given different and conflicting information on verbal calls.

We had an excellent experience using Samson Construction, LLC for our rebuild work. Greg Sweetwood was our Project Manager and always kept us in the loop for all communication. He responded to all our questions and concerns in a timely fashion. The subcontractors that he hired also did a wonderful job! Our final price tag came within their estimate. Overall, we are very pleased with their service and would hire them for any other construction project that we have!

My total experience with Samson Construction was excellent. We used them to completely remove our entire lower level after it was totally destroyed (walls, hardwood floors, carpeting, plumbing - everything!) from tree roots backing up our sewer system. Our Samson Project Manager, Wilson George, was outstanding! He was very personable, experienced and professional. Most importantly, he always delivered on what he said he would do, when he said he would do it. And a Great Communicator - he called and visited us frequently throughout the buildout to ensure everything went smoothly and to our satisfaction! And all of the work performed was of a very high quality with high quality materials used.

Samson Construction LLC has been a great help to my family during home fire with professionalism and genuine care of our situation. Every department from the financial, contents team, the project manager and his team gave beyond great customer service. They all operated in integrity and honesty. Thank you all for your service. Greg did a great job communicating with us and coordinating with his subcontractors. I appreciate that he stayed on top of his workers until we were happy with the job. If we need another job done, we will absolutely reach out to Samson Construction and specifically ask for Greg to be our project manager. We recommend that you do the same. Thanks!

We had a water leak that damaged the subfloor in our guest bath. Samson was recommended by my insurance company, so Lou came out at the end of September (9/29/2020) and gave us an estimate. 2 weeks later, we wanted to hire them. I never heard from him. I had to call him and the office several times, and he finally said he was going to find out who the project manager was going to be (11/4/2020). I never heard from him. I called today (11/13/2020), and Samson isn't taking any jobs that aren't at least $15,000. Gee, I wonder when they were going to tell me. They have lost out on probably another $40,000 in kitchen and bath remodels, simply because their "audition" job was $5000. If you hire them for anything, give yourself a reminder to call them everyday, or you will never hear from them.

The entire team at Samson was professional, courteous, and responsive. They kept us informed of every step along the way and worked with us to get our house back to normal as quickly as possible. Very highly recommend!

Freddy Hughes helped me with my claim. Nobody wants to experience water damage. It was actually as nice of an experience as possible because of Freddy Hughes. Mr. Hughes always answered my questions with patience and kindness. Very nice company and everyone was extremely pleasant and professional.

We had a house fire in May of 2018. The beginning of the process was ruff until Mr. Greg Sweetwood came in and got the job done and did an amazing job! Mr. Greg is very detailed and has a great eye at what he does. He really treats you like family instead of a client and to us that meant a lot! Mr. Greg Sweetwood thank you for everything you did in making our home amazing.

Freddy Hughes was so helpful in explaining everything and working with the hoa insurance company. He made a complicated issue as easy as possible. He was very honest and upfront which nowadays is such a rarity. I am so thankful that Freddy was referred to me. Greg Sweetwood was also wonderful in explaining the work and going the extra mile. These 2 men made a bad situation (from the damage) as simple and easy as possible. They are WONDERFUL!

100% Happy, We had a major water event that destroyed our condo and 7 others in the building. Samson Construction was amazing. Our project leader was Freddy Hughes. He coordinated everything with our insurance, the HOA and all of the sub contractors. The work that needed to be done was big, the water reclamation people tore our place to shreds, Freddy and his crew put our place back together beautifully. Our home looks great now. Plus the work is so good we are going to have Samson (and Freddy) remodel our kitchen and the bathroom. I will let ya know how that goes once we have the work completed. Based on the professional work we have already had, I would definitely recommend them to anyone who need any kind of work done to their home. A+

I had various repairs done on my siding, a new deck built, and the house painted. The team that worked on my house, Leon and Randy, were fantastic to work with. They were always on time, very communicative, and did an excellent job. I highly recommend them. I only had one less than stellar experience and that was dealing with the sales representative. His attitude keeps me from giving 5 stars.

We had a great experience with Samson Construction remodeling our basement after a water heater flooded it. Freddy was very friendly and easy to work with on this project. His crew showed up on time and did a great job.

We had a king sized waterbed explode!! Water went EVERYWHERE...even 3 feet up the walls! Freddy Hughes arrived on the scene and within an hour there was a crew on site moving furniture, tearing up carpet and cutting out wet sheet rock! They had dehumidifiers and fans going 24/7 until they were certain that the moisture was gone and then proceeded to put it all back together. I can't say enough good about Sampson Construction and in particular Freddy Hughes and his competent crews. I would call them again in a heartbeat!

Samson Construction did a great job repairing our house (roof, floors, wall, ceiling) after a tree branch came through the roof while it was raining. The contractors Freddy Hughes used did an excellent job.

We had water damage to both our bathrooms that required replacing the floors in both baths and the master bedroom and hallway. Freddy was our contractor, and we couldn't have asked for a better one! He was always conscientious, polite and prompt. We would highly recommend Samson Construction, especially Freddy!

I had a massive flood and needed to replace all my floors and cabinets. Denise Walker and Chris Terrell were extremely helpful and responsive. There was not a call made that wasn't promptly returned. They were wonderful at scheduling and managing contractors' work so my kitchen and life was back on track as soon as possible. The time and effort this team made to help us fix our home was absolutely priceless. They show a personal interest in each client and treat our living space as if it was their own.

Our home has never looked better and we are beyond thrilled that we used Samson to fix our disaster. I would recommend to anyone who needs help!

After many delays, and much harassment, they got the job done. However, the process was horrible, excuses were plenty, ownership was weak, and working with them requires the customer to stay on top of the contractor. Further, they portray the company as affiliated, or a division within ServPro...going as far as having the same billing department...but this seemed very much like a bait and switch technique. The communication lapses between the two sides lead to delays that easily doubled the completion time of the project. Lastly, they spring a contract full of details I found objectable at the final moment. This was after a two or three week process of them working with the insurance company to get the bill/work approved. At this point, I felt that I had little choice but to sign a contract I did not like. So at minimum, I recommend you review this contract prior to engaging in work with Samson. I would never recommend Samson to a friend or relative.

My project manager, Allen Peacock, has always been incredibly professional and helpful whenever I needed help. His quick responsiveness has made finishing the construction process very smooth. What I appreciate is that whenever we need his help, he has been willing to take time from his own lunch breaks to help us solve any issues we have. Could not recommend this service more!
