We are currently on our second project with this very talented and hard working crew. Pate, Blake, Hunter and the rest of their staff are so easy to work with. They are timely (some times even finish early) and have always respected our budgets. They inform you every week of your projects status, costs and relationship to your estimates. This is so helpful when doing larger projects as they can get out of hand quickly! Our first project with them was a kitchen reno so not huge, but they were all in and everything came out exactly as we wanted it to. We get compliments all the time. And 3 years later we have, no issues with any part of it.
They are also great with problem solving as even well thought out projects can come up against issues during construction. Their knowledge of the business and the town codes/inspections make the process a lot less stressful.

The end results are always built incredibly well and turn out beautiful! We would highly recommend!

I could sing the praises of Salt Marsh Contracting all day long. My husband and I have worked with them twice, once on a renovation, and then on a new build. Both experiences have been wonderful from start to finish. They stayed on track with all of their promised time lines through both projects. The most recent new build was completed in the promised 13 months with amazing quality and attention to detail. We were complimented by neighbors throughout the project on the cleanliness of the job site, and complimented by our HOA on the quality of the home. I actually had a member of our HOA stop me on a walk and tell me that Salt Marsh is the best builder they have ever worked with. We loved every minute of working with them on this very big project and could not be happier with our new home.

Blake and team led a major renovation and addition on our house, and we could not have asked for a better team. We heard many stories about other contractors in town being flaky and going way over budget, and Blake and team could not have been more different. Their upfront estimate may be higher than others but that prevented any surprises along the way, and we actually were able to do more projects than expected. They ran on time and even got us back into our house in time for Christmas! They are a pleasure to work with and we look forward to working with them again down the road.

Salt Marsh built us an absolutely beautiful outdoor pavilion next to our pool. They also added French doors and a deck off of our master bedroom. Every detail was built with perfection by a crew of courteous and knowledgeable workers. And they thoroughly cleaned up at the end of each day. Our outdoor space is now our favorite “room” of the house!
While the pavilion was under construction I was changing kitchen counters, tile, appliances, and light fixtures. It was a job too big for me to take on and they graciously stepped right in to get it done for me. We will definitely use Salt Marsh again - as soon as we think of another project!

Salt Marsh renovated our kitchen, mudroom and butler's pantry, plus did a refresh on the entire first floor in the 2nd half of 2023. This included a new kitchen design, new cabinets and appliances, lighting, many custom built-ins and fresh paint. We were super-pleased and based on what we hear from everyone about their construction/renovation project, don't believe it could have gone much more smoothly. We used Salt Marsh twice. Once for a bathroom full remodel and second for a large outdoor kitchen and porch. Both projects turned out beautifully! The Salt Marsh team can be trusted for any size project. We look forward to using them again in the future!

This review comes from 2 different perspectives- as a structural engineer who has worked on Salt Marsh projects and many other projects from other contractors and as a homeowner who has had work done on her house by SM and by other contractors. If you want your project done correctly, in a timely manner and pristinely clean, then you should choose Salt Marsh. Simply the best!
